Radial Gates No. (U/s 1, 2, 3, S/w 13 to 18) Providing of material to electromagnetic brake set of radial gate installed at Ujh barrage by way of disconnecting all the electrical connections between motor and electromagnetic brake set. Job includes cutting all rusted nuts and bolts using cutter/gas cutting arrangements and extraction of damaged electromagnetic brake set from the central drive unit of radial gate. Job includes straightening, reconditioning, turning and polishing of driving shaft and brake drum to the required shape and size at workshop. Providing and fitting of fiber leathers, spring as per sample size including electromagnetic coil, adjustable rod and lock pins. Job includes Providing/Fitting of nuts, bolts with washers as per sample size, alignment/adjustment of driving shaft & motor with Elecon gear box, adjustment of required clearance between drum and fiber shoes of the brake set. After assembling of all parts electromagnetic brake set with motor and making all electrical connections and thereafter testing the brake set by operating radial gate both upward and downward movement. Complete job includes installation/fitting charges, tools and tackles required for the execution of job along with the cost of material including cost of supply at site besides charges of installation and all the taxes as applicable. (Scope of Work as per Annexure C)
