SCHEDULE A BOQ

Demolition of Brickwork/stone boulder masonry, built in cement mortar complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L Fly ash Brick work with Old size brick, straight or curved on plan exceeding 6 M mean radius built in cement mortar 1:4 complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down cement plaster on brick or stone walls, or concrete or ceilings etc., including raking out joints, hacking for key, scrubbing down with water, etc., including removal of rubbish off the premises, removal and depositing serviceable materials where directed.

M & L Rendering 10 mm thick in cement mortar on brick or stone or concrete surfaces finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for applying two coat of oil bound distemper over one coat of putty including preparation of newly plastered surfaces complete all as specified and as directed.

Note for Item No 1 to 6:- The above items are required for making good the disturbed surfaces of wall/ ceiling during execution of electrical repairs.

Inspection, taking down the defective parts, checking alignment and minor repairs of storage water heater 25/35/50 ltr capacity of any type any make vertical/ horizontal type which includes the following complete all as specified and directed:- (a) Inspection, taking out of drain plug & dewatering and refix the same complete all as directed . (b) Checking water tightness of storage tank . (c) Checking stop cocks with outlet/inlet pipe of geysers, pressure reducing valves etc to ensure free movement of water and easy functioning of parts. (d) Inspecting over flow vent pipe connections to ensure water-tightness and proper flow. (e) Checking and correct earth continuity of electrical items. (f) Checking functioning of heating element and correct setting adjustment of thermostat upto 55º C. (g) Alignment of reducing valves, checking of dead weight type high pressure release valve and visual check of fusible plug for its intactness. (h) Replacement of defective spares shall be measured and paid under relevant items mentioned below separately as supply and fix.

Note for Item No 8:- The above job shall be carried out by a trained electrician having ITI in electrical, documentary proof of the education of tradesman shall be produced, before commencement of work.

The entire job will be carried out in entire domestic area of Air Force stn Sulur and necessary documents showing qtr No, bldg No supported with user signature shall be prepared as per format given by Engr-in-charge and will be deposited to concerned JE (E/M) within 24 hrs.

All types of T&P, PVC insulation tape, minor nuts, bolts, washers etc required for maintaining the services shall be provided by contractor without any cost to the department.

Taking down carefully storage water heater (geyser) 25 ltr capacity of any type, any make from the location by removing the electric & water supply connection and shifted to work shop/MES store yard for repair and re-installation at any location including S&F in repair of heavy duty pin type fastener 4" long and making necessary inlet/outlet electric & water supply connection from existing source to geyser complete all as specified and as directed.

Description all as per Sl item No. 26 here-in-above but 35/50 Ltr capacity.

Dismantling carefully solar storage water heating system including taking down old defective parts of any capacity, any type for following works with testing and refixing the same in original position including all water/ electric connection to entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge after carry out servicing as under :- (a) Inspection, opening, of all parts, descaling, washing of inner tank with chemical solution and cleaning of outer cover storage tank. (b) Checking water tightness of storage tank after cleaning. (c) Checking and correcting earth continuity of electrical items. (d) Alignment of reducing valves, checking of dead weight type high pressure release valve and visual check of fusible plug for its intactness. (e) Replacement of damaged solar cells (solar cell shall be measured and paid separately under relevant item) (f) Necessary T&P such as ladder,helper shall be contractor responsibiliy.

S&F in repairs 3 layer PP-R (Polypropylene random copolymer) concealed pipes SDR 7.4 (PN-16) UV stablized and antimicrobial fusion welded having thermal stability for hot & cold water supply including all PP-R plain and brass threaded polypropylene random fittings fixed complete to walls/ceilings or floors of 25 mm (outer dia of pipe) complete all as specified and as directed. Note for item No 52 & 53 :- (a) The unit rate shall be include for taking down existing pipe and connections and all fittings as directed.

(b) The unit rate shall be include the cost of short lengths, with all pipe fittings such as bends, tees, short pieces connectors, elbows, reducers, unions, sockets etc and fixing accssories such as pipe hooks, screws clamps etc

(c ) Wall thickness of pipes shall be all as per IS : 15801

M & L cleaning of service tanks of 250/ 300 ltrs capacity on roof top of bldgs upto five storrey after disconnection from inlet and outlet pipe, removing of float valve of service tank and keep aside safely for reuse drain out water through drain plug, cleaning thoroughly to remove all scales and dirt by brushing internal surface, cleaning properly inside with soda wash, flushing out with fresh water, re-positioning of tank at same place, re-connecting inlet and outlet pipes, closing of drain plug, re-installation of float valve duly cleaned, writing/ labelling the record of cleaning carried out with white bold letter such as "TANK CLEANED ON"--------- (month and year), including removing creepers, vegitation and roots of plants, trees branches on or surrounding of service tank complete all as directed.

M&L for Staging / frame work for Solar water tanks using standard mild steel sections like angle iron / MS pipe / flat iron / sheets etc using steel of Fe 410-W (Gde E-250) quality - A including necessary welding suitable to keep 300 ltrs PVC water tank in repairs complete all as specified and directed by Engr in charge.

M & L Preparation of new or previously untreated steel surfaces of any description, over 10 cm width or girth, not otherwise described and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint (ordinary tint) over a coat of red oxide zinc chrome primer complete all as specified and directed.

Repair, maintenance and making the continuity of supply for rectifying the defects including taking down defective electrical items such as light point, fan/exhaust fan point, call bell point, socket point 5A/15A, switches, sockets, regulator, lamp holder, brackets, bell, buzzer, push button, ceiling rose, pendent, any type of MCB's, SPN DB's any type of internal light fixtures, any type of lamp, ceiling fan, exhuast fan, geyser, capacitor, replacement of fuse wires and all elcectrical accessories in day to day/door to door maintenance including reconnection with S&F small pieces of elctrical cable of size upto 6 sqmm single core and length not exceeding 0.50m complete all as specified and as directed.

Note:- following shall be part of job under item No 61:-

(a) The above job shall be carried out by a trained electrician having ITI in electrical, documentary proof of the education of tradesman shall be produced before commencement of work.

(b) All bldg light complaints including service connection, submain & internal electric for entire Domestic area of AF Stn sulur shall be attended.

(c) Record of complaints/complaint slip showing qtr No, bldgs No, nature of job supported with users signature shall be prepared as per format directed by Engr-in-charge & will be deposited to concerned JE E/M within 24 hrs.

(d) Necessary complaints slip/complaints register & other stationary required shall be contractor responsibility.

(e) All sort of petty T&P items such as PVC insulation table, ladder, galvanised screws, nuts, bolts, washers etc. required to accomplish the job shall be provided by the contractor with out any extra cost to dept.

(f) Defective items if any, required to be replaced shall be measured and paid separately.

(g) The quoted rate is deemed to be inclusive for small pieces of elctrical cable of size upto 10 sqmm single core and length not exceeding 0.50m

(h) The contractor shall maintain a record of all urgent/ routine works and if the work is repeated due to poor workmanship, he will be liable to repair the same without any extra expenditure to the Govt.

(j) In case of any delay in attending the complaint more than 12 hrs after handing over routine/urgent complaints, the contractor shall be liable to pay the penalty as described in penalty clause given here as under.

(k) The penalty shall be applicable to the contractor if the delay is noticed by the Engr-in-Cahrge more than twelve hrs after handing over works of urgent/ routine nature to the contractor. The Engr-in-Charge shall handover the slip containing specification of work to the contractor by lodging the time and signature of contractor be obtained on slip. The contractor shall attend the complaint immediately and shall report to Engr-in-Charge with in 12 hrs. The contractor will keep his tradesmen in stand by for attending any routine / urgent works from the executive. If the nature of job is such that the work cannot be completed within period of 12hrs then the facts shall be brought to the notice of the GE/Engr-in-Charge and the period for the working to the complaint shall be decided by the GE/EIC. If the delay is more then twelve hrs period and the GE is not satisfied with the reason for delay then penalty at the rate of Rs 50/- per job shall be deducted from the dues of the contractor. Please note that this penalty is exclusively other then the condition 56 of IAFW - 2249 and shall be treated as interim condition of the contract and shall be enforce above as and when delay in individual job is noticed and no claim whatsoever on this account shall be entertained by the Deptt.

(l) The decision of the Accepting Officer in this regard shall be final and binding.

M&L Earthing with Galvanised Earth Plate Electrode 600x600x 6mm thick burried directly in Ground (Earth Pit not less than 2.25 Metre below Ground Level) with Top edge of the Plate not less than 1.50 Metre below Ground Level, connected with Galvanised Earth Strip of size 25x6mm (upto 7.5m length) by means of Bolts, Nuts, Check Nuts and Washers of GI or Steel and connected Earthing Testing Point/Bus-bar including GI 40mm bore (dia) light grade Protection Pipe, Earth Plate surrounded by a packed thickness of Char Coal or Coke Dust mixed with Common Salt, Magneisum Sulphate (1 : 1 : 0.5) in alternate layers of not exc 150mm thick, PCC Pit in Cement Concrete 1:3:6 (20mm graded stone aggregate) and Pre-cast RCC Cover Slab of size 350x350x50 mm in Cement Concrete 1:2:4 (20mm graded stone aggregate), reinforced with 10mm dia TMT Bars @ 100mm Centre to Centre in both ways, GI Wire Mesh, Funnel with GI Watering Pipe 20mm bore (dia) medium grade including necessary Excavation in any type of soil, Returning, Filling in and Removal of surplus Spoil disposal to out side MD land and all as shown in Electrical Plate No. 3 of MES Schedule Part-I and Testing on Completion including taking down old unserviceable one, complete all as per specified and as directed.

Note for Item here in above :- (a) All Joints should be joined by Exothermic Welding or Brazing.

(b) After completion of work earthing shall be tested by the contractor in presence of Engineer-in-Charge, User and proper record shall be maintained duly signed by all concerned.

(c) Earth resistance tester shall be provided by the contractor. It should be caliberated from authorised company/ lab.

(d) After testing if desired earth resistance of less than 5 Ohm is not obtained, the earthing will be redone at no extra cost to Govt till desired result is obtained.

M&L in repairs Galvanised Earth strip of size 25 x 4 mm fixed on proper post insulator at the instrument end complete all as per specified and as directed.
