M&L for preparation of existing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brush or removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc. and applying evenly a tack coat with bituminous primer (paving bitumen) VG-10 grade overprepared surface @ 5 Kg per 10 Sqm ,using mechanical sprayer etc complete all as specified and directed.

Material & labour for open graded premixed carpeting 40 mm consolidated thickness using waste plastic ( 8% by weight of bitumen ) coated aggregate and bituminous binder of grade VG-30 as per IRC SP 98 2013. The aggregate for bituminous carpet 40 mm thick open graded shall be composed of 13.2 mm graded size @ 0.36 cum per 10 sqm and 11.2 mm graded aggregate size @ 0.18 cum per 10 sqm , preheating aggregates to the required temperature and mixing with 2.336 Kg shredded plastic (8% waste processes plastic by weight shall be used for coating aggregate after heating ) and finally mixing with bituminous binder @ 26.864 per 10sqm (i.e. 92% of bitumen ) and all as per IRC SP 98 2013 , laying to required camber and gradient and rolling and finishing complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for providing 50 mm consolidated thickness bituminous premixed Dense Asphaltic Concrete (DAC) Gde -II with marshal stability minimum 1200 Kg, using bitumen of grade PMB-40 (Elastomeric thermoplastic) min 5.4% binder content by weight of total mix (minimum Marshall stability 1200kg), mixed in automatic hot mix plant & laid in single layer using self propelled mechanical paver rolled & compacted with power road roller 8 to 12 tonne capacity and consolidated to required gradient and camber etc( Cement as a filler at a minimum 2% by weight of total mix) complete all as specified and directed. Note:-(i) In the event of increase in percentage of binder content as per job mix formula ,nothing extra shall be admissible and quoted rate shall be deemed to include for the same. However, in case bitumen of grade PMB-40 requirement is less than 5.4% Then same shall be regularized as per actual mix design with minus adjustment of less bitumen of grade PMB-40 @ Rs 50 per Kg. (ii) Taking out 04 No stop bar light carefully and refix the same in existing location including cutting dense Asphaltic concrete etc all as directed by Engr-in-Charge/AF authorities. (iii) In case the stop bar light damage during taking out/refixing,the same shall be replaced without any extra cost to the dept. (iv) Please note that DAC to be laid immediately after laying of BM. In case the DAC could not be laid within 48 hours of laying of BM, primer coat @ 3Kg / 10Sqm to applied over freshly prepared bituminous surface and nothing extra shall be paid by the Govt. on this account. No claim what so ever shall be entertained by Govt on this account.

M & L for preparing of existing black top road surface removing dust ,dirt grease and other foreign matters etc. to receive the marking and applying one coat of retro reflective thermoplastic road marking paint (white or yellow shade ) not less than 2.0 mm thick(average) in lines, arrow dashes & letters exceeding 10cm in width applied hot using application unit and retroreflective glass beads, @ 250 to 300 gm/sqm to withstand vehicular traffic load, material shall be conforming to BS-3262( Part- I) 1989 read in conjunction with the MORTH (Ministry of Road Transport and Highways) specification, Vol-V as laid down in the specification for road and bright work latest revision etc complete all as specified and directed. Note - MORTH specification shall be followed strictly for execution of work & suitable machine shall be used for the marking as approved by the GE. Shape & size/ patterns of marking shall be as approved by the GE before execution of work.

M&L for repair to pot holes of any depth not exceedng 1 sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud or water scoring sunken surface in roads, path etc cutting around edges to at least 25 mm in depth and making good by applying tack coat with bituminious primer (paving bitumen) VG-10 @ 5 kgs per 10 Sqm using mechanical sprayer and including laying premixed bituminious macadam well rammed and rolled using 8 to 12 tonne capacity power road roller (including supply of road metal ), depth of pot holes exceeding 30 mm complete all as specified and directed.

Scarifying or picking gravelled, macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces in area not exceeding 400 sqm and exceeding 50mm & not exceeding 100mm deep complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 75 mm thick (compacted thickness) WBM laid with using stones aggregate (granite,trap or basalt ) of grading -2 (63 mm to 40 mm) size or grading -3 (50 mm to 20 mm) size, spread ,watered rolled and consolidated to required gradient and camber with 8 to 12 tonne power road roller etc complete all as specified & directed

M & L for preparation of un-surfaced Water Bound Macadam (WBM) by brushing with wire brush or removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc. and applying evenly a tack coat with bituminous primer (paving bitumen) VG-10 @ 10 Kg per 10 Sqm using mechanical sprayer etc complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for premix bituminous,macadam using binder paving bitumen(VG-30) @ 4.0% by weight of total mix, mixed in automatic hot mix plant with design mix and laid by using self-propelled mechanical paver, consolidated thickness 75mm or less laid/rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber using 8 to 12 tonne power road roller to achieve uniform smooth surface etc complete all as specified & directed. Note:-In the event of increase in percentage of binder content as per job mix formula, nothing extra shall be admissible and quoted rate are deemed to include for the same. However, in case bitumen requirement is less than 4.0% same shall be regularized as per actual mix design with minus adjustment of less bitumen @ Rs.50.00 per Kg.

Supply and fixing in repairs PVC plastic safety cones made of special PVC material making them highly flexible and durable, if a vehicle hits a cone, it does not get damaged and comes to its original state with high reflective sleeve/sheeting is fixed on it for better vision at night and bad weather conditions, for fixing of plastic chain or caution tape with heavey duty weight base fixed at the bottom and shound not fly -off with fast traffic or winds complete as per manufacturers instructions all as specified and directed . (MAKE : Road Star Model No RSTC-1000 (1 Meter Cone Weight 5.5 Kg or equivalent).
