NOTE: 1.Evaluation will be done by excluding Provisional sum and GST Amount 2.GST is to be quoted @ rate of 18% 3.The bid price shall be net of Input Tax credit availed by the bidder i.e., base price shall not have any GST component in it. In effect, the clause 171 of GST, that is, the Anti-Profiteering Rule shall be adhered to. A self-declaration from the bidder on clause 171, shall be attached with the invoice. The output GST paid by the bidder shall be reimbursed by CHENNAI METRO RAIL LIMITED on production of the documentry evidence

Earth work in excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator)/manual means over areas (exceeding 30 cm in depth, 1.5 m in width as well as 10 sqm on plan) including getting out and disposal of excavated earth lead upto 50 m and lift upto 1.5 m, as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

In all kinds of soil

Boring with hydraulic piling rigs with power units, providing and installing cast in situ single under reamed piles of specified diameter and length below pile cap in M-25 cement concrete, to carry a safe working load not less than specified, excluding the cost of steel reinforcement but including the cost of boring with bentonite solution and the length of the pile to be embedded in pile cap etc. all complete. (Length of pile for payment shall be measured upto to the bottom of pile cap).

300 mm dia. Piles

Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified grade excluding the cost of centering and shuttering - All work up to plinth level.

1:2:4 (1 cement : 2 coarse sand (zone-III) derived from natural sources : 4 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size derived from natural sources).

Providing and laying in position ready mixed or site batched design mix cement concrete for reinforced cement concrete work; using coarse aggregate and fine aggregate derived from natural sources, Portland Pozzolana / Ordinary Portland /Portland Slag cement, admixtures in recommended proportions as per IS: 9103 to accelerate / retard setting of concrete, to improve durability and workability without impairing strength; including pumping of concrete to site of laying, curing, carriage for all leads; but excluding the cost of centering, shuttering, finishing and reinforcement as per direction of the engineer-in-charge; for the following grades of concrete.

Concrete of M25 grade with minimum cement content of 330 kg /cum

Centering and shuttering including strutting, propping etc. and removal of form for

Columns, Pillars, Piers, Abutments, Posts and Struts

Steel reinforcement for R.C.C. work including straightening, cutting, bending, placing in position and binding all complete upto plinth level.

Thermo-Mechanically Treated bars of grade Fe-500D or more.

Providing and fixing roofing consist of 0.8 mm thick galvanized steel deck sheet confirming to IS 277:1992 used as permanent shuttering over which MS wire mesh 3mm laid at 100x100 mm grid including edge trim covered with concrete. This metal deck will be supported on structural steel beam with shear studs. (Structural steel like Beam, column, joists etc. & concrete of different grade as per design will be paid separately).

Steel work in built up tubular (round, square or rectangular hollow tubes etc.) trusses etc., including cutting, hoisting, fixing in position and applying a priming coat of approved steel primer, including welding and bolted with special shaped washers etc. complete.

Providing and fixing in-poistion 16mm Post Drill Chemical Anchors as per directions of engineer-in charge

Providing and fixing bolts including nuts and washers complete.

Providing and fixing M16 Bolts, Nuts & Washers including chemical anchoring as per directions of engineer-in charge.

Painting with synthetic enamel paint of approved brand and manufacture to give an even shade :

Two or more coats on new work

Providing and fixing hand rail of approved size by welding etc. to steel ladder railing, balcony railing, staircase railing and similar works, including applying priming coat of approved steel primer.

Providing & Grouting of dowel tubes / Shear keys / Joints of precast members with M-60 grade cementitious grout (Non Shrink) of approved make by suitable means ( Free flowing /pump),curing etc. Complete as per directions of Engineer-in-charge. (The payment shall be made on the basis of actual weight of approved grout injected.)
