WIDENING OF ROADS ALONGWITH STORM WATER DRAINAGE AT KHUNDRU.

Amount

Excavation over areas not exceeding 1.50m deep and getting out in soft/loose soil all as specified and directed.

Excavation in trenches n.exc 1.5m wide and not exceeding 1.50m in depth for foundation, etc for shafts, wells, cesspits, manholes, pier holes etc not exc 10 sqm on plan and n.exc 1.50m in depth and getting out all in soft/loose soil all as specified and directed.

Returning filling in including spreading, levelling, watering and well ranning in layers not exceeding 25 cm in soft/loose soil all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated materials soil to a distance exc 50m and not exc 100m and depositing where directed at a level n.exc 1.50 m above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed.

Removing excavated materials soil to a distance not exc 50m and depositing where directed at a level n.exc 1.50 m above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed.

Forming embankments including raising (or lowering) earth, spreading in layers n exc. 30 cm thick; watering, ramming/rolling and finishing to required size, shape, etc., n exc. 1.5 m high from base complete all as specified and directed. Note :- Earth received from excavation to be used under this item.

Rolling and consolidation formation surfaces with 8 to 12 tonne power roller including filling in soft spots, depressions etc, which occur during rolling (for portion coming in cutting/original ground only) to required camber and gradient etc, including watering before or during rolling complete all as specified and directed.

Scarifying or picking gravelled macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces in area exceeding 400 sqm for depth exc 50mm and not exc 100mm all as specified and directed.

M&L for 200mm thick (spread thickness) soling (or sub base) with broken stones (granite, trap or basalt) of size range 63mm to 100mm, deposited, spread, leveled in one layer, interstices filled, surface formed, rolled and consolidated to required gradient and camber with 8 to 12 tonne power roller, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L 150 mm thick (compacted thickness) WBM in two layers of 7.50 cm each, with coarse stone aggregate (Granite, trap or Basalt) of grading 2 (63 to 40mm size) spread, watered, rolled with 8 to 12 tonne power roller and consolidated to required gradient and camber complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparing un-surfaced water bound macadam by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags and compressor to remove all loose dirt etc and applying evenly a priming/tack coat of paving bitumen (VG-10) at the rate of 10 Kg per 10 square metre of road surface complete all as specified.

M&L for Providing premix bituminous, macadam laid/rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber with broken stone aggregate with 4% of bitumen binder of any viscocity (consolidated thickness 75mm or less) mixed in hot mix plant, laid with mechanical paver rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient with 8 to 12 Tonne power road roller complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Repair to potholes any depth, not exc 1 sq m each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc. cutting around edges to at least 25 mm in depth, making good by filling in screened & graded road metal, watering and well ramming (including supply of road metal) and making good by applying tack coat @ 5 kg per 10 sq m, putting in premixed bituminous macadam, well rammed and sealed with binder 9.8 kg per 10 Sqm, blinded with 0.09 cum of stone chippings, 6.3 mm size and again well rammed (including supply of premixed macadam, binder and chippings) depth of potholes exc 30 mm complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparing of old black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags and compressor to remove all loose dirt etc complete all as specified.

M&L for applying evenly a priming/ tack coat of paving bitumen (VG-10) at the rate of 5 Kg per 10 square metre of road surface complete all as specified.

M&L Bituminous premixed asphaltic semi dense concrete 40mm thick (consolidated thickness) with 5.5% paving bitumen (VG-10) of binder content by weight of total mix, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient with 8 to 12 tonne power roller and laying with mechanical paver complete all as specified and directed.

M&L Providing precast cement concrete in window or door cills, lintels, kerb stones, bressumers, steps, quoin blocks (for use with masonry), string courses, copings, kneelers, apex stones, pier caps, columns, posts, boundary pillars, bed plates, pintle blocks, anchorage blocks, bonders (for stone walling), corbels, brackets etc. (of any section indicated), with plain fair faces, including chamfers, weatherings, throating etc. and setting in mortar complete with joints to match complete all as specified and directed.

M&L Painting lines, dashes, arrows, letters, etc. on roads pavements and the like n exc 10cm wide using hot applied thermoplastic road marking paint 2.5mm thick with 8% glass beads using special applicator machine with heating arrangement upto 160 degree centigrade complete all as specified and directed.

S&F Delineator of size 900 x 75mm, dual directional Retro reflective round delineator made of 16 gauge MS pipe of outer dia 50mm and duly powder coated, anti rust and have three reflective band of colour white, red and yellow protective with welded wire mesh cage fixed in position in PCC, 1:2:4 type B-1 (using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) foundation of size 30 x 30 x 30cm deep and necessary earth work complete all as specified and directed by GE. S&F Cat eyes of specifications such as glass beads, reflector body, material ABS plastic size 117 x 117 x 23mm, reflector 19 or 21 binocovex glass element on each side compressive strength upto 35 tonnes body yellow colour with red reflector fixing by means of nail and epoxy complete all as specified and directed by GE. S&F sign board of size 1200 x 900mm rectangular type double sides made out of 2mm thick aluminium sheet and scotchlite panel sheet covered retro reflective H1 prismatic sheeting letter and figure to be fixed after etching treatment to sheet and fixed on back support frame of size 50mm x 50mm square mild steel pipe complete including embedding in PCC, 1:2:4 type B-1 (using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) including painting using synthetic enamel paint (two coats) over suitable primer and necessary earthwork in any type of soil complete all as specified and directed by GE. 15mm thick rendering on fair faces of brick work or concrete surfaces in cement mortar 1:4 including finished even and fair without using extra cement complete all as specified & directed.

Preparation of plastered or unplastered new surfaces of walls and applying two coats of cement based paint over a coat of alkali resistant priming coat complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for stone masonry walling of random rubble, uncoursed, well bonded, bedded and solidly hearted built in CM (1:4) complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for PCC (1:2:4), type B-1 (using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as lintels upto 1.5m clear span, cills, steps; seismic and other similar bands, plinth courses, string courses, lacing courses, parapets and railings upto 60 cm in height, copings, kneelers, apex stones, bed plates, kerbs, water troughs and the like including weathering, slightly rounded or chamfered angles and throating, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for raised pointing in CM (1:3) to random or polygonal rubble, uncoursed stone masonry or brought upto course complete all as specified and directed.

Extra over stone walling for hammer dressing to face of stones and dressing of face beds and joints, as specified of random rubble walling uncoursed or brought upto courses with maximum depression on face from stragith edge held against the dressed surface n exc 40 mm on sand stone all as specified and directed.

S&F of 110mm bore PVC (SWR) pipes single socketed in any length in single piece placed in stone masonry as in weep holes laid to slope all as per drawing complete all as specified and directed.

M&L Boulder filling dry, hand packed tightly, as in vertical bunds with sloping faces, complete all as specified and directed.
