FIRE FIGHTING & ALARM SYSTEM Supply and fixing Fire Hydrant cabinet made of 16 gauge MS Sheet double compartment type with 4 mm thick glasses. The cabinet shall be firmly fixed to the wall with expansion bolts. The cabinet shall be powder coated both internally and externally also provide marking on both the compartment for identifying the hose reel and landing valve. The door shall be provided with suitable locking arrangement as per standards.The quote shall include fixing the cabinet to the wall & making good to the wall. The size of cabinet should be sufficient to accomodate the following accessories/items: a) 63mm dia instantaneous pattern single headed oblique hydrant valve with gun metal cap, GI chain twist release type plug. b) 2 lengths of 15mtrs. 63mm dia reinforced rubber lined hose with instantaneous male and female coupling. c) 1 no gun metal branch pipe with nozzle (63mm x 20mm) with Gunmetal gate/ ball valve (20mm) d) 20mm dia. Reinforced hose reel 30m length as per IS 5132 fitted with 6.35mm dia nozzle and shut off valve (IS 884 - 1969) . The hose reel shall be recessed swing type with reel drum.

Supplying, installing and commissioning C.I.flanged "Y" type Strainer 250 mm dia with SS mesh, suitable flanges, nuts, bolts, gaskets etc. complete.

Supply and fixing cast iron sluice valve of size 250 mm bore class PN10 conforming to IS-14846 flanged ends drilled having stainless spindle with cast iron wheel at top complete with nuts, bolts, washers and rubber gaskets complete all as specified.

IP 65 class protection and made of 3.15mm CRCA MS sheet and 40 x 40 x 6 mm thick angle iron frame work, powder coated finish over one coat of red oxide primer out side and two coats of red oxide primer inside, front opening type with aprons for cable entry with double door shutter and locking arrangement (including provn of 65mm Godrej Freedom) lock with 2 keys, internal wiring with PVC insulated solid copper conductor FRLS cable IS 694 marked of adequate size but not less than 2.5 Sqmm. The scope of work includes the following

(i) Annunciation window consisting of indication for each fire sprinkler zone and should be interlocked with water flow switch installed in main distribution line of each sprinkler zone including electronic hooter.

2. The control system shall be designed to provide following sequence: (a) The jockey pump shall start when pressure of system fall about 0.35 kgf/cm2 below normal system pressure and shut down when system pressure is reached. (b) The main fire pump shall start when pressure in hydrant line falls suddenly about 1 kgf/cm2 below normal system pressure and no pump shall start when main fire pump is running. (c) In case of power failure if system pressure falls suddenly about 1 kgf/cm2 below normal system pressure diesel pump shall start within 5 sec of power failure. (d) The sprinkler pump shall start when pressure in sprinkler line falls suddenly about 1 kgf/cm2 below normal system pressure. (e) If sprinkler pump fails to start then hydrant pump shall start and feed the sprinkler line. (f) When the UG water tank gets exhausted all pump in pump house should automatically shut down. (g) The Terrace Pumps will start on sudden loss of pressure only when both fire Pumps have either failed to start or exhausted water.

Supply and fixing of Automatic air-vent having 15mm end connections complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F ball valve 15 mm & manufactured as per IS: 9890 (1981) and tested as per BS 6755 Part- 1, having floating type three piece design, CS body, SS- 304 ball, PTFE seal/packing/gasket, CS fasteners and lever and screwed /socket weld end connection with accessories etc., as required all as specified and directed.

Providing and fixing 6 kg capacity Multipurpose dry chemical powder (ABC) type (IS-15683) fire extinguishers consisting of welded MS cylindrical body fabricated from 1.6 mm MS sheet internally protected with anticorrosive treatment and hydraucally tested. Extinguisher externally painted with red enamel and fixed to wall with bracket complete with initial filled/charged all as specified and as directed.

Providing and fixing CO2 type fire extinguisher of 3 Kgs capacity with steel cylinder with a discharge valve and confirming to IS : 15683. Extinguisher shall be painted with red enamel paint and fixed to wall with bracket complete all as specified and as directed.

Providing and fixing 9 Ltr capacity Foam type (IS-15683) fire extinguishers consisting of welded MS cylindrical body fabricated from 1.6 mm MS sheet internally protected with anticorrosive treatment and hydraucally tested. Extinguisher externally painted with red enamel and fixed to wall with bracket complete with initial filled/charged all as specified and as directed.

(b) AC Alternator (Brush Less) : The AC alternator (Generator) shall be designed for an output of 100 KVA / 80 KW at full load for continuous rating 10% for over load for one hour at 0.8 (lag) PF conforming to relevant IS, 1500 RPM including self excited and self regulating Electronic voltage panel with all accessories cable terminal for suitable size of glands earth terminal etc complete all as per OEM specifications. (c) Diesel Engine : The engine shall be vertical multi cylinder four stroke 1500 RPM water cooled with water pump assembly battery charging alternator of suitable instrument panel, electronic in built governor starting batteries heavy duty with leads (as recommended by the manufacturer) suitable size and length of exhaust pipe with necessary cladding materials, exhaust coupling inside acoustic enclosure/ canopy, silencer and exhaust pipe above canopy al as fixtures all as per OEM specification complete all as directed (d) The tools as per the manufacturer’s list shall be provided by the contractor alongwith the set at no extra cost. (e) Unit rate quoted shall deemed include the control cable from DG set to AMF panel, Diesel oil, Lub Oil, Coolant for Radiator etc for smooth functioning of DG Set during PH I & PH II complete testing (at factory premises before dispatch& at site after commissioning).

(a) Electrically operated with electric motor AC 415 Volts, 3 Phase 50 HZ of suitable capacity as per IS (efficiency class equivalent to IE 2) and operating gearless box with independent main sheave rim.

(b) Electric cabling and wiring in FRLS copper cable including all necessary PVC conduits ISI marked of suitable size

(c) Micro processor based VVVF type main controller with closed loop system.

(d) Car position indicator in car all fixture in SS face plate (both insided/out-side). All buttons should be with brail marking and luminous.

(e) Provn of travelling cable with copper conductor FRLS of suitable size & core or required wiring to intercom speaking & other accessories.

(f) Inbuilt ARD (Automatic Rescue Device) with maintenance free batteries operated to bring the car cage to the nearest floor level in case of power failure, which includes power failure of one or more phase. Emergency light and at least one fan inside the lift car shall be operational till the rescue operation and an audio and visual indicator shall be provided inside car to alert the persons trapped inside that they are being rescued.

(g) Provision of governor and governor rope of suitable size, buffer springs as per manufacture's design, car cabin having powered doors and inspection box at top of the car cabin, compact high efficiency drive combined with suspension Traction Media Technology. Grooved Belt and alongwith belt monitoring device which can ensure to prevent from any breakage of belt and taking elevator nearest landing.

(h) Provision of safety guarding equipments such as 02 Nos pit switches controller, guarding pit, pulley, guarding pit ladders, facia plate to cover free space between car cabin and hoist way & switches.

(j) Door sensor not less than 74 beam, 2D infra red full length

(k) Provision of fire man switch complete at ground floor fitted in box including SS face plate.

(l) Provision of "Press and Speak" system to be connected with lift complaint cell compatible with exchange. Provision of Automatic call registration in case of breakdown.

(m) Do's & Don’ts chart on stainless steel to be installed inside the car cabin. Provision of display of contact numbers or other instructions.

(n) A three Pin plug socket with switch for hand lamp shall be fitted on top of the lift car for use by person working there on.

Maintenance of all plants, shrubs, Hedges, grass etc for a period of 06 month after date of completion by employing 3 (three) skilled Gardener per day to ensure healing up keep,of watering plant, pour manure, carryout periodic tilling and use pesticides, cutting grass and removing unwanted grass & plants at work site. Note :- (i) During the period any plant, shrubs, grass etc is found dead, not true to name or size as specified or not in satisfactory growth plat of approved size & shape shall be replaced by the contractor. (ii) If contractor fail to comply above points the work will be carried out through other agency and amount will be recovered from the earnest money and 10% of reserved money (10% of contract amount will be kept for guarantee period. (iii) Supply & application of manure, sweet earth sand, ATT Chemical & pesticides etc, Fertilisers etc are included in the quoted unit rate during Maintence period.

Supply & planting following trees/plants/shrubs/hedge: in location as shown on drawing and as directed by Engineer-in-charge including preparing composed pit of required size (1.20x1.20x1.20 meter or 0.45x0.45x0.45 meter) as per requirement size in any type of soil applying anti temite treatment, refilling of the pit with compost (menure, sand & sweet earth mixed in (1:1:4) breking clods, ramming & flooding with water filling fine dressing & removal of rubbish, unserviceable material & surplus earth complete all as specified & directed by Engr-in charge. Note : - (i) ATT shall be in form of 200 gms neem cale mixed with each cum of compost followed by ATT chemical (Dursban) applied at 50 ml per liter in 1st watering 30 ltr per pit.
