REPAIRS, REPLACEMENT AND MAINTENANCE OF CEILING FANS, EXHAUST FANS, WALL MOUNTED FANS OF ANY CAPACITY AND STORAGE WATER HEATER OF ANY CAPACITY IN ZONE-I AREA AT INS CHILKA UNDER GE CHILKA

Taking down ceiling fan of any sweep of any make by disconnecting electric connection from ceiling rose, for carrying out necessary repair such as replacement of old condensers/ rubber bushes/ bearing/ flexible copper cable of suitable size including overhauling by carrying out repair such as applying grease to metal parts, rewinding of burnt coil and replacement of suitable size of cotter/split pin as required,reassembling and re-fixing in original/ new position including necessary connection with three core flexible copper wire of suitable length from ceiling rose to connector of fan and testing complete all as specified and as directed. Notes :- (i) Rewinding of fans and spares required for replacement shall be measured and paid seperately under respective item of BOQ as considered therein. (ii) Rate quoted is deemed to be inclusive of new flexible copper wire of suitable size as required at site.

Taking down exhaust fan/wall mounting fan heavy duty of 300 mm or 380 mm or 450 mm sweep by disconnecting from the ceiling rose, carrying out necessay repair such as replacement of capacitor/ bearings/ flexible copper cable of suitable size including overhauling by carrying out repair such as applying grease to metal parts, rewinding of burnt coil and replacement of suitable size split pin as required, reassembling and re-fixing in original position, fixing of louvers/wire mesh including necessary connection with three core flexible copper wire and testing complete all as specified and as directed Notes :- (i) Rewinding of exhaust fans and spares required for replacement shall be measured and paid seperately underrespective item of BOQ as considered therein. (ii) Rate quoted is deemed to be inclusive of new flexible copper wire of suitable size as required at site.

S&F in repair capacitor/ condenser of ceiling fan 2.5 MFD of approved make complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F in repair capacitor /condenser of exhaust fan 4 MFD of approved make complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F in replacement louvers suitable for 450 mm sweep exhaust fan complete all as specified and as directed

S&F in replacement louvers suitable for 380 mm sweep exhaust fan complete all as specified and as directed

M&L for rewinding of ceiling fan motor of 1200 mm sweep of any make with super enameled copper wire of existing gauge including replacement of insulating materials such as laminated lethroid paper, sleeves, necessary varnishing with golden colour varnish, greasing the bearings, replacement of missing / worn out nuts, bolts and washers, split pins etc complete all as specified and as directed

M&L for rewinding of Exhaust fan motor of 450 mm sweep of any make with super enamelled copper wire of existing gauge including replacement of insulating materials such as laminated lethroid paper, sleeves, necessary varnishing with varnish , greasing the bearing, replacement of missing/worn out nuts, bolts and washers, split pins etc complete all as specified and as directed.

Ditto all as per item No 08 above but for Exhaust fan motor of 380 mm sweep of any make complete all as specified and as directed.

Ditto all as per item No 08 above but for exhaust fan/wall mounting fan motor of 300 mm sweep of any make complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for spray painting with white synthetic enamel paint including preparation of old surface of the ceiling fan of any make/model/sweep, filling cavities with filler after cleaning dust complete all as specified and as directed.

Ditto all as per item No11 above but for exhaust fan of 450 mm sweep of any make and model with grey colour synthetic enamel paint complete all as specified and as directed.

Ditto all as per item No11 above but for exhaust fan of 380 mm sweep of any make and model with grey colour synthetic enamel paint complete all as specified and as directed.

Ditto all as per item No11 above but for exhaust fan of 300 mm sweep of any make and model with grey colour synthetic enamel paint complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F in replacement 15mm bore galvanised iron pipe medium grade as in down rod , 300mm long with nuts, bolts , washers and suitable pin for hanging of ceiling fan of any sweep and make complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F in replacement 15mm bore galvanised iron pipe medium grade as in down rod, 600mm long with nuts, bolts, washer and suitable pin for hanging of ceiling fan of any sweep and make complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking down the storage type water heater of any type & size by disconnecting electric connection for carrying out necessary repair such as cleaning of inner water tank, removing scales,connecting flexible three core copper cable of size 2.5 sqmm and re-fixing in original position including testing complete all as specified and as directed. Notes :- Spares parts required for repalcement shall be measured and paid seperately under respective item of BOQ as considered therein.
