Preparing black top bituminous surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with air pressure through air jet using air compressor to remove all loose dirt etc including removing the mud etc to a distance minimum 1.5 m from edge of road and applying evenly a tack coat of bituminous primer using paving bitumen (VG-10) @ 5 Kg per 10 Sqm of road surface by sprayer operated hot pressure mechanism including Supplying, laying, spreading 30 mm (minimum) consolidated thickness of semi dense asphaltic bituminous concrete with Job mix formula using paving bitumen (VG-30) at the rate of 5.5% binder content by weight of total mix using mechanical paver for leveling within the specified tolerance as specified in SSR Part - I, rolled and consolidated to required camber and gradient with power roller for uniform smooth surface etc complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note :- (i) The job mix formula shall be approved by GE. (ii) 5.5% binder content has been specified for quoting purpose of bid. If the quantity of the bitumen exceeds 5.5% as mentioned in Schedule A / BOQ during job mix formula, no plus price adjustment shall be made. If the quantity of the bitumen required as per job mix formula works out to less than 5.5% the recovery of the supply only bitumen shall be effected @ Rs 40.00 per Kg. The cost of transportation of material and testing chrges shall be borne by the Contractor.)

Repairs to potholes any depth, not exceeding 1 sq m each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths etc. cutting around edges to at least 25 mm in depth, making good by filling in screened and graded road metal, watering and well ramming (including supply of road metal) Note: (i) Pot holes shall be marked and checked by Engineer-in-charge. 100% quantity before commencement of work and shall also be entered in MB with reference to permanent objects before starting carpeting work.

Note: (i) Pot holes shall be marked and checked by Engineer-in-charge. 100% quantity before commencement of work and shall also be entered in MB with reference to permanent objects before starting carpeting work. (ii) Rate quoted by contractor shall deemed to be including of supply of premixed macadam binder and chippings.

Supplying, laying & spreading upto 75 mm thick (consolidated thickness) premix bituminous macadam filling in depression (using 20 mm graded stone aggregate) in single layer with using mechanical paver using paving bitumen (VG-30) @ 4 % by weight of total mix with job mix formula, laid / rolled and compacted / consolidated to required camber and gradient with 8 to 10 tonne power roller to a uniform smooth surface etc complete all as specified and directed. Note :- (i) The job mix formula shall be approved by GE. (ii) 4.0% binder content has been specified for quoting purpose of bid. If the quantity of the bitumen exceeds the 4% as mentioned above, no plus price adjustment shall be made. If the quantity of bitumen required as per job mix formula works out less than 4.0%, the recovery of the supply only bitumen shall be effected @ Rs. 30/- per Kg. The cost of transportation of material and testing charges shall be borne by the contractor.

M&L for painting lines, dashes, arrows, letters, marking etc of 3.0 mm thick film on new surfaces or previously treated road surfaces with hot applied retro reflective thermoplastic road marking paint (White / Golden yellow) conforming to MORT&H (clause 803.4) all as specified with 8% glass beads using special applicator machine with heating arrangement upto 160 degree C including cleaning and drying the existing road surfaces to ensure dust, oil, grease and moisture free surfaces before applying the paint complete all as specified and directed. Make : Automark or equivalent make given in Appx 'B'.

All as per item No 5 here in above but including removal of existing road marking paint complete.

S&F in repair dual direction delineator 600 mm long made of 16 gauge MS rectangular pipe of size 25 x 68 mm, pipe stove enameled and baked to 120 degree celsius or power coated, head made of ABS plastic rectangular moulded with flat face provided with high intensity prismatic reflector of colour ( White/ Yellow/Red) of size 100 x 125 mm wit addn 2 reflective strips of 25 mm wide, shade as approved by GE and fixing cement concrete 300 mm x 300 mm x 350 mm deep including excavation and earth work in any strata complete all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note:- The rate of PCC & earth work is included in the unit quoted rate. (Make :- Cat Part No GPL-UBPH-11-56 of Greenlite or equivalent Make of 3M / Dark Eye )

S&F in repair declinators made of ABS material round body fitted with 02 Nos , 100 mm dia high reflective reflectors and mounted on MS pipe 50 mm dia powder coated anti rust and anti theft steel net shade as approved by GE and fixing in cement concrete 1:2:4 with size of block 450 x 450 x 600 mm deep including earth work complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge

S&F in repairs two way reflective road studs (Cat eye) of Aluminium alloy body of dimensions 110mmx 128mm x 29.5 mm (Model No DA-971 of Dark eye or equivalent model of 3M/Greenlite) with red / yellow / white reflective panels and fixing the same on road surface by applying approximately 100 g Epoxy mixture and placing the cat eye without applying exessive pressure and additional fixed with 12 mm dia and 120 mm long zinc plated steel nail at the centre of cat eye complete all as specified and directed.
