Clearing and grubbing road land including uprooting rank vegetation, grass, bushes, shrubs, saplings and trees girth up to 300 mm, removal of stumps of trees cut earlier and disposal of unserviceable materials and stacking of serviceable material to be used or auctioned, up to a lead of 1000 metres including removal and disposal of top organic soil not exceeding 150 mm in thickness. a) In area of thorny jungle

Cutting of trees, including cutting of trunks, branches and removal of stumps, roots, stacking of serviceable material with all lifts and up to a lead of 1000 metres and earth filling in the depression/pit. i) Girth from 300 mm to 600 mm

ii) Girth from 600 mm to 900 mm

iii) Girth from 900 mm to 1800 mm

SH :- Earth Work

Construction of embankment with approved material obtained from borrow pits with all lifts and leads, transporting to site, spreading, grading to required slope and compacting to meet requirement of table 300-2.

SH :- FORMATION CUTTING

Excavation in Hilly Areas in Soil by Manual Means (Excavation in soil in Hilly Area by Manual Means including cutting and trimming of side slopes and disposing of excavated earth with a lift upto 1.5 m and a lead upto 20 m as per drawing and Technical Specification Clause 1603.1)
