Spl repair to roof treatment of certain OTM Buildings at AF Stn Amritsar

M&L for brushingf neat cement slurry @ 3.0 kg per sqm complete all as specified.

Material & labour plain cement concrete (1:2:4) type B-1, using 20 mm graded mechanically crushed stone aggregates mix with and incl water proofing compound as in padding to roof to maintain the required slope and finished the surface even and smooth, without using extra cement, complete all as specified.

M&L for preparation of old roof surface by removal of any type of existing roof treatment (brick tiles, PCC tiles, mud phuska, PCC, tar felt etc) in any number of layer up to original RCC roof top slab surface, including demolition of PCC coping etc, remaining bituminous content if any and cleaning the concrete surface with steel wire brush and other necessary tools, disposal of mud, debris outside the defence land, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge. Any minor in the slab be repaired by cutting v groove and filling elasotmeric polyurathene crack filling material and washing down the slab with water to remove dust. Then surface shall be primered with Smart care two component, high solid, epoxy resin based floor primer of asian paints or equivalent make to seal the pores and enhance the ashesion of coating, supply and applying single component water proofing liquid membrane based on pure elastomeric polyurethene resin smartcare PU Magnum US, cold applied of spray/ brush applied, membrane with an elongation of > 600% and tensile strength of 3-4 Mpa as per ASTM D412, crack bridging ability of 3mm as per ASTM C1305, no leakage upto 5 bars of water pressure as per DIN 1048, shore A hardness > 50 shore as per ASTM D2240. The minimum thickness to be applied shall be 1.5 mm along with protective Geotextile fabric 150 GSM over the entire membrane with proper overlaps of 75mm before application of Brick/PCC tiles all as specifed and directed by Engr-in-charge. Note :- (i) Ponding test shall be done after application of material and the cost is deemed to be inclusive. In case if any leakage/failure the complete area of roof be treated again without any extra cost. (ii) The work of water proofing will be carriedout by authorized representative/ applicator of the manufacturer. The necessary documents in this regard will be submitted & got approved from the Engr-in-charge before commencement of work. Note :- (a) Application of water proofing treatment will be done by Authorised Applicator only as per MOU between tenderer and manufacturer of PU liquid water proofing membrane and their authorized applicator complete all as specified and directed. (b) The contractor shall upload MOU between tenderer and manufacturer of PU liquid water proofing membrane and their authorized applicator at the time of sample approval. Make: Asian Paints/ Berger paints/ Sika/ BASF/ Pidilite/ Dr Fixit as per appendix attached. The make shall be of same manufacturer of which the MOU signed and submitted by the contractor. No change of make/ manufacturer other than MOU shall be allowed without the prior approval of Accepting Officer. (c) Shifting/ removing of any wire/ cable/ AC unit or any other object as per site requirement and refixing the same if needed is deemed to be included in the rate quoted by the contractor. (d) Total removal of vegetation/ creepers/ small plants/ roots from the top of the bldgs to facilitate the work of treatment is also deemed to be included in the rate of contractor.

M&L for 40 mm thick brick tiles laid over cement screed 15 mm in cement morter 1:4 in required slope, filling the joints of tiles with polymer based joint mortar (nito tile grout) or equivalent complete all as specified and as directed.
