MISCELLANEOUS ITEMS REQUIRED FOR B/R & E/M SERVICES (Sch 'A' PART-XI)

EARTHWORK, SITE CLEARANCE AND SITE DEVELOPMENT Bringing approved Earth may be mixed with granules / pebbles not exceeding 40 mm size (as approved by Garrison Engineer) from sources outside defence land including all cost such as royalty if any, transportation, taxes if any etc. complete all as specified and directed. NOTE :- (a) Earth required for the item shall be supplied by contractor from outside of MOD land at any lead, at his own arrangement. (b) All cost of procurement of earth including cost of transportation, compaction royalties, tax etc shall be deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted by the contractor. (c) Forming embankments / filling in low lying areas including raising (or lowering) earth, spreading in layers not exceeding 30 cm thick, watering ramming / rolling and finishing of required size, shape etc not exceeding 1.5 m high from base / natural ground level. (d) With reference to Clause 3.6 of MES Schedule Part-II on Serial Page No. 21, it is clarified that measurement of the above item shall be of finished embankment / traverse of filled earth after consolidation / compaction and 5% deduction shall be made from measured and calculated volume to allow for increase in bulk. (e) Total quantity / partial quantity of earth may not be available in BENGDUBI Area. The contractor shall bring the earth outside area and it is advised to quote the rate considering available of soil and its lead involved.

ROAD, PATH, CULVERT & HARDSTANDING M&L reflective thermoplast white/yellow road marking paint laid down through road marking machine in layers of 3.00mm thick crystlese and use of 5kg per sqm by incorporating the white glass beads @ 300gms per sqm for reflecting including cleaning of surfaces complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and installation of Raised Pavement Marker (RPM) with polycarbonate lens electronically welded with the RPM body. The marker shall be scratch proof and abrasion resistant microprismatic polycarbonate lens with polycarbonate reflective panels with dual prismatic cubescapable providing total internal reflection. Dimension: The dimension of the marker is height 15.88mm, width 101.6mm, length 89.2mm. The marker conforms to ASTM D4280 and is in accordance with MOSRTH circular reference No. RW/NH 33023/10/97-DO III dated 11 June 1997. Marker shall be fixed with adhesive and no nails shall be used to affix the marker and shall be marked with manufacturer name.

Construction of 7.90 mtr long and 600 mm dia RCC NP2 Hume pipe Culvert incl excavation of earth work, PCC 1:3:6 type C-2 in fdn, Brick work in parapet, rendering in CM 1:4 and white washing complete all as specified and shown in drawings.

EXTERNAL WATER SUPPLY M&L for constraction of brick measonary valve pit of size 600 x 600 x 600mm (internal dimension) one brick thick wall in CM 1:4 on 100mm thick PCC 1:4:8 type 0-2(40m graded aggregate) as in foundation and 15mm thick rendring in cement mortar (1:4) internally, externally up to 15cm below GL, providing valve pit cover made of 3mm thick MS sheet/plate, welded with 40 x 40 x 5mm angle iron framed fixed on top of valve pit bymeans of hold fast 150mm long, embeded in PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 (20mm graded aggregate) block of size 230 x 200 x 100 mm and provision of hinges, handle and locking arrangement including two coats of anti corasive paint over a coat of red oxide zinc chrome primer and necessery excavation and work in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and directed.

S&F LED post top light fitting luminaries 40/45 watts IP 65 type made in die cast aluminium housing with decorative opal/clear polycarbonate diffuser complete with control gear box with all accessories duly prewired suitable for 50 mm dia post including GI medium grade 50 mm dia post dia post upto 1.0 height and polycarbonates junction box 150mm x 100m and single phase connector complete connection and testing complete all as specified and directed.

S&F LED post top light fitting luminaries 40/45 watts IP 65 type made in die cast aluminium housing with decorative opal/clear polycarbonate diffuser complete with control gear box with all accessories duly prewired suitable for 50 mm dia post including connection and testing complete all as specified and directed.

S&F pole mounted SMC junction box/bus bar chamber for loop IN/OUT connection of street light cable of size 295 x195 x 100mm high heat distoration temp.non-fusing, shockproff, rustproof, 100% weatherproof, fire retardantclass FV-O as per IS11731 Part-II and suitable locking arrangement with single phase and neutral aluminium busbar of size 20 x 3 mm of length 170mm wrapped with PVC sleeves with maintained the colour code, MCB. Supply, installation, testing and commissioning outdoor type LT feeder pillar box, platform mounted, suitable for 3 phase 4 wire, 500 volts AC supply and type tested at CPRI, fabricated in factory having modern fabrication and testing facility which includes seven (07) tanks pre treatment facility comprising of de-greasing, rinsing, de-rusting, rinsing, phosphating, rinsing and passivation followed by powder coated painting (thickness not less than 80 Micron) with approved shade of RAL 7032. The panel shall be provided with suitable Neoprene rubber gasket to make it completely dust and vermin proof and degree of protection not less than IP-55 and general construction conforming to IS : 13947. made out of 3.00mm thick CRCA mild steel sheet and 3.00mm thick gland plate duly compartmentalized for each control gear and bus-bar, front door (02 layer) and rear Door (01 layer) opening facility and 4 side slanting canopy type roof on top and mild steel channel (75 MC) base frame at bottom. The feeder pillar shall be provided with ventilation facility in the form of louvers for better heat dissipation. The feeder pillar shall be comprising of the followings. M & L for 25 users RCC septic tank conventional designed to carry sewage and sullage water including excavation in any type of soil, PCC 1:4:8 below foundation, RCC M-30 design mix in walls, base slab, baffle walls and roof slab including beams etc with vent shaft, manholes openings with cover connection etc with effective depth 1.5 metre and over depth of 3 mtr as shown in drawing No. CESZ/2020/TD/ST-07 complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for 1.80m x 3.00m effective depth soahage well excavation in any of soil foundation in PCC 1:3:6, walls of honeycombed masonary etc all as shown in Drawing No. SZ/TD/14 Sheet No. 1/1 complete filled with brick bats all as specified and directed.
