TENDER FOR FACE LIFTING OF OLD ADMINISTRATIVAE OFFICE AND ADMINSTRATIVE ANNEX BUILDING AT CHENNAI PORT AUTHORITY

1)Dismantling and removing the existing damaged RCC band over the parapet wall without damaging the nearby structures, collecting and handing over the serviceable materials to the departmental stores / RSD yard within a lead of 3 km and depositing the rubbish within a lead of 50m, all as directed at site including all labour, tools, equipment, scaffolding, transport, fuel, etc., complete.

2)Chipping thoroughly the existing damaged wall plastering in C.M, to the required thick including conveying and depositing the debris at ground level for disposal within a lead of 50m and all as directed at site including all labour, tools, equipments, scaffolding, etc., complete.

3)Chipping thoroughly the existing damaged ceiling plastering in C.M, to the required thick including conveying and depositing the debris at ground level for disposal within a lead of 50m and all as directed at site including all labour, tools, equipments, scaffolding, etc., complete.

4)Dismantling and removing the existing damaged wooden/ PVC Doors, windows, ventilators of area less than 3M2 including main frame, in all floors by cutting the masonry / concrete wherever required without damaging the structures nearby, transporting and handing over to the departmental stores / RSO yard within a lead of 3kms all as directed at site including all labour, tools equipments, transport, fuel, etc., complete.

5)Dismantling and removing the existing damaged PVC rain water line /waste water line with all fixtures/ fittings without damaging the nearby structures, collecting and handing over the serviceable materials to the departmental stores / RSO yard within a lead of 3 km and depositing the rubbish within a lead of 50m, all as directed at site including all labour, tools, equipment, scaffolding, transport, fuel, etc., complete.

6)Providing , fixing and laying of rain water pipe with best quality rigid unplastisized PVC rain water pipe of 110mm outer dia and capable of withstanding pressure of 4kg/sqm pressure-(Finolex (or) Trubore (or) Varun (or) Supreme) with necessary special clamps ,specials and wherever required, including joining the pipes using necessary adhesives, and making connections to floo rand making good the disturbed portion of masonary/ concrete surface all as per specification and or as directed at site, including all materials, labour, tools, equipments, transport, safety belts, helmet, safety shoes, fuel,scaffolding etc., complete.

7) Providing, fixing and laying of pipes of, approved quality rigid unplasticized PVC pipes of 75mm outside diameter 4 Kgf/sq.cm pressure-(Finolex (or) Trubore (or) Varun (or) Supreme) for waste water lines including necessary bends, clamps and specials, etc., wherever required, including joining the pipes using necessary adhesives, and making connections to floor traps, gully traps manholes etc., including cutting the floor concrete masonry and making good the disturbed portions all as directed at site including all materials, labour, tools, equipments, transport, safety belts, helmet, safety shoes, fuel, scaffolding, etc., complete.

8 )Providing Half brickwork at parapet wall of passage using good quality bricks of class designation 50 in CM 1:4 ( 1 cement : 4 crushed stone sand) for super structure walls and wherever required including curing, scafffolding all as directed at site including all labour,materials, tools,transport, fuel, equipments, etc. complete. 9) Preparing the surfaces of walls and plastering in cement mortar 1:5 (1 cement : 5 C.S. sand), 12mm thick for walls, to the required finish all as directed at site including all materials, labour, tools, equipments, scaffolding, curing etc., complete.

10)Supplying and fixing 5mm nominal thick Frosted glass (Saint gobain (or) Modiguard make) for windows and wherever required with necessary accessories like rubber beading, screw etc., all as per the relevant specification, and all as directed at site including all materials, labour, tools, scaffolding, equipment, transport, fuel etc., complete. Note: - 1. The actual area of glass used alone will be measured for payment purpose. 2. The rate shall including the cost of rubber beading etc.,

11)Providing and fixing frosted glass (Saint gobain (or) Modiguard make), 5mm nominal thickness, 125mm wide for Ventilator Louvers with necessary accessories all as per the relevant specifications, and all as directed at site including all labour, materials, tools, scaffolding, equipment, transport, fuel etc., complete. Note: - The actual area of glass used alone will be measured for payment purpose.

12)Providing and fixing anodized aluminium sections for Window main frames / sliding shutter frames with extruded built up standard sections of approved make as available in the market, anodized in approved colour and shade and finish, according to IS 1868 (minimum anodized coating of Grade AC 15) with necessary accessories like snap on beading (clips), cleat angles, fully threaded 75mm long metal screws, wooden plugs, etc., including drilling holes in the concrete / brick masonry etc., wherever required to suit the site condition and all as directed including all materials, labour, tools, equipments, scaffolding, transport, fuel, etc., complete. Note: Aluminium sections shall be smooth, rust-free, straight, mitered and jointed properly by any approved means wherever required.

13)Supplying and fixing 5mm nominal thick plain glass (Saint gobain (or) Modiguard make) to aluminium windows with necessary accessories like rubber beading, screw etc.,all as per the relevant specification, and as directed at site including all materials, labour, tools, scaffolding, equipment, transport, fuel etc., complete. Note: - 1. The actual area of glass used alone will be measured for payment purpose. 2. The rate shall including the cost of rubber beading etc.,

14)Providing and fixing good quality 30mm thick single leaf factory made PVC rigid foam panelled door (Manufactured by M/s Rajshree /Qute or equivalent) of approved section to suit the existing door opening with main frame, shutter frame and panels made out of extruded 5mm thick rigid PVC foam sheet mitered at corners and fixing the door main frame on the masonry wall surface with 100mm long M.S screws with PVC fasteners all as detailed and all as directed at site including jointing the sections using solvent cement adhesive and filling the hollows of main frame and shutter frame with suitable wooden infill packing for fixing of fittings including all labour, materials, transport, fuel, tools equipments etc., complete.

15) Supplying and fixing anodised aluminium fittings confirming to Bureau of Indian Standard Specification in doors, etc., with necessary screws, etc., as directed at site of work including all materials, labour, tools, equipments, etc. complete a) Butt hinges 150mm long for PVC door

16)Preparing the surfaces of existing woodenl members and painting with two coats of synthetic enamel paint (Asian or other approved brands) of approved quality to give an even shade, all as directed at site including all materials, labour, scaffoldings, brushes, tools, equipments, etc., complete. NOTE: 1. Necessary painting co-efficient shall be allowed as per Ch.P.T. engineering manual. 2. The above quantity is inclusive of painting co-efficient.

17)Preparing the surfaces of existing steel members and painting with two coats of synthetic enamel paint (Asian or other approved brands) of approved quality to give an even shade, all as directed at site including all materials, labour, scaffoldings, brushes, tools, equipments, etc., complete. NOTE: 1. Necessary painting co-efficient shall be allowed as per Ch.P.T. engineering manual. 2. The above quantity is inclusive of painting co-efficient.

18) Preparing the existing outer wall surfaces / scrapping and applying two coats of weather shield max paint (ICI Dulux or equivalent brand) over a one coat of weather shield max primer of superior approved quality ,colour to give an even shade all as directed at site including all materials, labour, scaffoldings, brushes, tools, equipments,fuel etc., complete.

19)Providing and laying Plain cement concrete of mix 1:1.5:3 mix in volumetric proportion (1cement :1.5 crushed stone sand : 3 hard granite graded stone aggregate of 20 mm graded down to 12mm size ) for supporting of hand grill at floor level in connecting corridor of staircase in all floors and wherever required all as per relevant specifications and as directed at site including shuttering, mixing and Providing 50mm dia outlet pipe for draining of rainwater in floors of connecting corridors at interwal of one metre while providing the concrete at hand rail including transporting,scaffolding, placing, , curing etc., including all labour, materials, tools, equipments, plants, fuel, etc., complete. .

20) Removing the existing damaged suncontrol film in the window and Supplying and fixing of sun control film non reflective type - 50 micron (Gareware or equivalent) for doors and windows after thoroughly cleaning the glass panels and removing the stains, any other foreign particles etc., if any, with good quality soap or liquid detergents all as per manufactures specification and as directed at site including all labour,materials, tools, equipments, scaffolding etc. complete.

21) Removing all the filling grout materials in the existing tile joints by using machine cutting in the entire flooring and wall tile joint in the existing toilet/ bath room at the place of admin.office Building toilet and clean the surface throughly to remove all dirty and loose particles, make the surface neat and clean, and applying of (MYK laticrete SP100 or equivalent) Epoxy with colour tile joint grout to suit the existing tile colour all as per relevant specification and as directed at siteincluding all labour, tools, equipments, transport, fuel, etc., complete.

22) Preparing the water proofing treatment with mesh (DCP or equivalent) at existing surfaces thoroughly to remove all dirt and loose particles at open terrace area, any crack visible on the surface and apply crack fill high performance polymer modified cementitious crack sealer. Applying prime coat of acrylic latex based water proofing adequate cum bonding agent and laying of non-woven fiber glass mesh (only on the flooring surface) of 45 GSM with necessary preparation and applying two coats of elastomeric high performance Acrylic system, premium quality acrylic coating and all as per manufacturer specification and all as directed at site including all material, curing, labour, tools, equipments, safety belts, helmet, safety shoes, transport, fuel, scafflolding etc., complete.

23) Preparing the surfaces of ceiling and plastering in cement mortar 1:3 (1cement : 3 C.S.Sand) 6-10mm thick to the required finish curing etc., all as directed at site including all labour, materials, tools, equipments, scaffolding etc. complete.

24) Providing and fixing anodized aluminium decorative grills of 6mm nominal thickness with mesh size 50x50mm of approved design as available in the market with aluminium F/U/H channel with necessary screws etc., at RCC /wall and window opening all as relevant specification and as directed at site, including all materials, labour, tools, equipment, transport, fuel scaffolding etc. complete.

25) Preparing the existing wooden surfaces of doors and polishing (Melamine mat finish) with superior quality natural wood finish polish applied over sealer coat and filler to give a neat and elegant appearance all as directed at site including all materials, labour, tools, equipments, etc., complete. Note:1) Necessary painting co-efficients shall be allowed as per ChPT Civil Engineering manual. 2) The above quantity is inclusive of painting co-efficients.

26)Preparing the existing surfaces of ceiling and applying two coats of whether shield max over a coat of whether shield max primer of (ICI Dulux or equivalent brand) to give an even shade, finish all as per specification and as directed at site including all materials, labour, scaffoldings, brushes, tools, equipments etc., complete.

27) Loading, transporting, dumping and levelling the debris etc., in the low lying areas nearer to the site of work within a lead of 3 Kms all as per relevant specifications and as directed including all labour, transport, tools, equipments, fuel, etc., complete. Note 1) No deduction of voids for debris. 2) The tenderer shall maintain trip sheets in triplicate in trust's approved format at his own cost.
