REPAIR/MAINTANANCE OF LT UG CABLE AND ALLIED WORKS IN DOMESTIC AREA AT AFS PURNEA UNDER AGE (I) (AF) PURNEA

Exavation in trenches, 1.5m wide and n. exc. 1.5m in depth , fo foundation etc..n.exc 10 sqm on plan and n. exc 1.5 m in depth and gatting out in soft / loose soil for laying of cables all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

Returnig , filling in, including spreading, leveling , watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25 cm in soft / loose soil complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

Removing excavated material n. exc 50m and depositing where directed at a level n. exc. 1.5 m above the starting point complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

Material and labour for sand cushioning / sand covering for underground cable protection and consolidated and compected with clean dry sand complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

M&L for sub class B bricks laid pwerpendicular over cable protection all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

Relaying of bricks obtained from item No- 05 for protection of UG cable all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

Taking up old U/S LTcable any size & type from the trenches of pipe including taking out brick cable protection if required and deposited as directed(Excavation and earth work if any measured & paid separately).

Supply &Laying only in trenches,fix on pole or passing through pipe and testing LT , XLPE insulated (heavy duty) PVC elecric cable with aluminium conductor , 1100 volte grade , cross-sectional area including taking out U/S LT cable and and aluminium cable lugs of suitable size and cable gland of suitable size and ratings for the following sizes:-. (a) 35 sq mm 3.5 Core

(b) 50 sq mm 3.5 Core

(d) 120 sqmm 3.5 core

Supply and laying in replacement GI pipe 80 mm dia light grade for UG cable protection complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in - charge.

Labour only for road boaring for cable crossing using manual boring prosses all as specified and directed .

Taking Down old ACSR of overhead line 3 phase supply including taking down of pin insulator channel and connecting accesorries.

M&L for Earthing complete with copper earth plate electrode of size 600 x 600 x 3.15mm thick buried directly in ground with earth pit not less than 2.25 meter deep below ground level with top edge of plate not less than 1.5 meter below normal ground level connected to copper strip of size 20 x 3mm earth lead by means brazing after fixing of nuts, bolts, check nuts, washers of galvanised iron steel, protected by galvanized iron pipe 40mm bore (Medium grade) all as directed including cement concrete (1:3:6) type C-1 earth pit with precast RCC (1:1.5:3) type A-1 cover slab of size 42 x 42 x 10cm thick reinforced with 8mm dia TMT bars @ 15 cm c/c both ways with 10mm dia mild steel round bar of 30 cm long, bent to shape as lifting handle, funnel, wire mesh, 20 mm bore galvanized iron pipe (medium grade) for watering, earth testing point, charcoal or coke and salt in alternate layers with necessary earth work in soft/loose soil complete all as shown in electrical plate No 3 of SSR Part I including testing on completion after taking down old earthing complete all complete as specified and directed. Note:-The contract sum shall be arrieved at after deducting amount of schedule of credit from the total quated amount.
