Excavation for roadway in soil by mechanical means including cutting and pushing the earth to site of embankment upto a distance of 100 m, including trimming bottom and side slopes in accordance with requirements of lines, grades and cross-sections.

Scarifying the existing bituminous road surface to a depth of 150 mm and disposal of scarified material with a lift upto 3 m and lead upto 1000 m as per Technical Specification Clause 301.4.

By Mix in Place Method (Construction of granular sub-base by providing close graded material, spreading in uniform layers with motor grader on prepared surface, mixing by mix in place method with rotavator at OMC, and compacting with vibratory roller to achieve the desired density,complete as per cl. 401( Including cost of testing of materials at site and laboratory as directed by the deptt.)

Water Bound Macadam (Providing, laying, spreading and compacting stone aggregates of specific sizes to water bound macadam specification including spreading in uniform thickness, hand packing, rolling with vibratory roller 8-10 tonnes in stages to proper grade and camber, applying and brooming requisite type of screening/binding material to fillup the interstices of coarse aggregate,watering and compacting to the reqd. density ( with an initial lead of 5.0 km. ) WBM Gr. Providing and laying Interlocking Concrete Block Pavement (ICBP) conforming to IS:15658-2006 including all lead and lift complete as per technical specification and as directed. 80mm thick interlocking precast blocks having compressive strength of 40N/sq.mm.
