M&L Repairs to concrete pavements by cutting the damaged, spoiled edges in concrete pavements slabs to vertical rectangular cross section with power driven concrete cutters, removing all loose and foreign materials to outside of contonement area, cleaning surface thoroughly with wire/coir brushes and then cleaned the surfaces with compressed air by electric air blower compressors, including priming the surfaces with suitable primer and filling with epoxy mortar @ 2 Kg per 1000 Cu.cm including form work wherever required all as specified and as directed. Note:- Contractor shall produce original purchase vouchers and test certificate of entire quantity before commencement of work on ground. M&L Preparation of eroded top surfaces of concrete slabs with wire / coir brushes and then cleaned the surfaces with compressed air by using air blower compressors to remove all loose dirt, dust, scaling, grease, spots etc, priming the surfaces with suitable epoxy primer of same make as that of Sealing Compund (with suitable brushes ) and Applying Epoxy repair mortar on primed surfaces with thickness varrying from 2.00mm to 3.00 mm including filling of small holes up to 10 mm depth @ 5.0kg per sqm and levelling the surfaces to match the existing level with existing surfaces of the runway / Taxi track as per manufacturer’s instructions complete all as specified and directed. M&L making good the cracks by repairing disintegrated / spoiled concrete slabs to vertical rectangular cross section with power driven concrete cutters, removing all loose and foreign materials to outside of contonement area , cleaning surface thoroughly with wire/coir brushes and then cleaned the surfaces with compressed air by air blower compressors and filling with Elastomeric concrete after application of specified primer and removal of rubbish to a distance exc 250m and not exc 500m and depositing , complete all as specified and as directed. Note: (i) All necessary formwork, sides etc shall be included in the quoted rates. (ii) Primer used shall be of the same make as of elastomeric concrete.

M&L Raking out existing Sealing compound from expansion joints 20 mm to 25mm wide and up to a depth of 30 mm from existing Flexible/concrete pavements and spilled sealing compound from the edge of expansion joint, removing the old sealing compound and all foreign materials to a distance of 100 metre and depositing where directed by GE / Engr-in-Charge, cleaning and preparation of existing expansion joint, priming the sides and bottom of expansion joints with primer Grade 'B' sealing Compound and Sealing the expansion joint 20mm to 25mm wide and 25 mm deep (leaving a clear space of 5mm at top in winter and 3 mm top in summer with sealing compound Grade 'B' heat resistance complete all as specified .Make Shalimar Tar Products / M/s M K Petro Industries / New Gurbinder Industries (New Delhi). Note:- Contractor shall produce original purchase vouchers and test certificate of entire quantity before commencement of work on ground.

M&L Raking out existing filling from expansion Joints of width exceeding 20mm but n exc 25mm and depth upto 30mm as specified with the help of special tool like concrete cutter, wire / coir brushes / machines and joints cleaned throughly with application of compressed air, making free from all loose materials ie dirt, dust, grease, existing sealing compound, filler board (as required) including sticked material of existing compound, racked up to full depth ( up to 45 mm ) of Joints etc to entire satisfaction of GE / Engr-in-Charge and filling the joint with the polyurathene based joint sealant single compound component using mechanical means to a depth exceeding 08 mm but n exc 12 mm ( depth above the backup Rod ) with minimum performance guarantee of 02 years and minimum movement accommodation factor ( MAF) +/- 30 % confirming to the requirement of BS-5212 and EN-141575-2003 for hydrolysis /water resistance test including two coats of primer and filling the balanced racked depth of the joint with backup material ie; closed cell polyethelene to ensure tight packing so that no gaps or void exist at the top of backup material separated by bond breaker of suitable size HD 10 filler board in position where required and applying masking tape on edge of joint to prevent accidental slippage of sealant on top surface to give a neat finish to the sealant and removing the masking tape after sealant is applied as required complete as per manufacturer's instructions and complete all as specified and directed. Note:- (i) Contractor shall produce original purchase vouchers and test certificate of entire quantity before commencement of work on ground. (ii) Joint sealant shall be applied by using sealing dispensing gun which shall be arranged by the contractor at his own. Manually Pouring of compound shall not be allowed. M&L Preparation of old painted surfaces of any description on Flexible pavements / rigid pavements of runway, dispersal, loops / links and the like as in lines, dashes, arrows, letters etc exceeding 10 cm width or girth and applying one coat of Road Marking Paint (Water Based) grade 2, conforming to IS:164-1981 (tint white / yellow / black / orange as approved by GE) complete all as specified and directed.

All as per description of item No. 9.00 here in before but two coats.

M&L Preparation of old painted surfaces of any description on Flexible pavements / rigid pavements of runway, dispersal, loops / links and the like as in lines, dashes, arrows, letters etc not exceeding 10 cm width or girth and applying one coat of Road Marking Paint (Water Based) grade 2, conforming to IS:164-1981 (tint white / yellow / black / orange as approved by GE) complete all as specified and directed.

All as per description of item No 11.00 here in before but two coats.

M&L complete removal of existing treatment on old painted surfaces of any description on Flexible / rigid pavements as in lines, dashes, arrows, letters exceeding 10 cm width or girth using wire brushes and necessary tools, washing, rubbing and preparation of surfaces and and applying two coats of Road Marking Paint (Water Based) grade 2, conforming to IS:164-1981 (tint white / yellow / black / orange as approved by GE) complete all as specified and directed

All as per description of item No 13.00 here in before but width not exceeding 10 cm.

M&L Preparation of old Painted surfaces of three sided DTGM Board, each side of size 1.50m X 1.20m and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over one coat of primer and writing letters / figures on each side of board with radium tape of width 150mm and over all size of letter not exceeding 60cm X 105 cm each including necessary welding, refixing including taking down or recasting of base with PCC (1:2:4) as required complete all as specified and directed. Make of radium tape: 3M, AVERY DENNYSON Note:- Unit rate of this item shall inlude the following:- (a) Existing DTGM board shall be removed after taking out PCC and earth work etc. and re-fixing after necessary repair. (b) Size of PCC block is 300mm x 300mm x 450mm (c) After taking of embedded pipe, same shall be re-fixed in case existing embedded pipe is broken, same shall be provided by the contractor at his own cost.

Rough Excavation n exc 1.5 mtr deep in soft/loose soil, outside MoD land, getting out, removing exacavated soil to a distance exc. 5 KM but n. exc 7 KM to MoD land and depositing where directed, forming embankments including raising (or lowering) earth, spreading in layers n.exc 30 cm thick, watering, ramming, rolling and finishing to required size and shape etc n.exc 1.50 m high from the base complete all as specified. Note : (i) The Rate quoted by the contractor shall include the cost of excavated soil and transportatation / carriage from outside MoD land to site of work. (ii) In case source / availablity of soil is beyond 7KM, no extra for increase of lead shall be paid. However, tenderer is hereby advised to look this matter before quoting his rate. (iii) 10% deduction on account of bulkage shall be made from the compacted soil measured at embankments for payment purpose.
