Replacement of old /providing fire hydrant pipe line in switch yard at 220kV sub-station, BBMB, Delhi

Supply and fixing of weather proof standard hose cabinet (900mm X 750mm X 400mm) outdoor type suitable for accommodating yard hydrants made of 1.5mm thick M.S. sheet having central opening glazed door including necessary locking arrangement, painting one coat of primer and two coats of postal red enamel paint and housing 2 nos. canvas hose pipe and branch pipe as required. (The cabinet shall be floor mounted on suitable raised platform). The shutters are to be lockable type. The words “Hose Cabinet” to be painted on the box.

Providing Stainless steel ISI MARKED 63mm Dia male instantaneous pattern short branch pipes with 15 mm dia Nozzle as per IS: 903, suitable for hydrostatic test pressure 21kg/sqcm and suitable for interconnections to hose pipe coupling as required.

Supply and installation of ISI marked single headed 63mm dia stainless steel hydrant valve (Type A) suitable for hydrostatic test pressure of 21kg/sqcm, 80mm dia flanged inlet with 63 mm female instantaneous outlet confirming to IS:5290 on the fire wet riser/down corner, including making 80NB pipe flange connection with riser, fixing the landing valves in proper positions including supply of nuts ,bolts, gaskets, caps, chains etc .testing the hydrant and completing the work in all respect as per directions of the engineer-in-charge.

Providing 63mm(2.5)” dia 15m long reinforced rubber lined hose pipe conforming to IS: 636-1992 Part -II with stainless steel male & female coupling stainless steel wire wound with pipe as required.

Providing and laying double flanged (screwed/welded) centrifugally (spun) cast iron, Class B (IS:1536): 100mm Dia C.I. Double flanged pipe.

Excavating trenches of required width for pipes, cables etc including excavation for sockets and dressing of sides, ramming of bottoms, depth upto 1.5 m, including getting out the excavated soil and then returning the soil as required in layers not exceeding 20 Cm in depth, including consolidating each deposited layer by ramming, watering etc and disposing of surplus excavated soil as directed within a lead of 50m.Pipes, cables etc exceeding 80 mm dia but not exceeding 300 mm dia

Butterfly Valve ( Manual) with C I body SS Disc, Nitrile rubber Seal & O- Ring PN 16 pressure rating for chilled water/hot water circulation as specified 100mm dia.

Dismantling G.I. pipes (external work) including excavation and refilling trenches after taking out the pipes, manually/ by mechanical means including stacking of pipes within 50 metres lead as per direction of Engineer-in-charge : Above 40 mm nominal bore

Dismantling old plaster or skirting raking out joints and cleaning the surface for plaster including disposal of rubbish to the dumping ground within 50 metres lead.

12 mm cement plaster finished with a floating coat of neat cement of mix : 1:4 (1 cement: 4 fine sand)
