Brief description of work (i) Removal of following existing unserviceable steel and wooden components of various MES pattern furniture items or similar items carefully without disturbing the adjoining parts and supply and fix new components in lieu of dismantled components including tightening the joints, pinning (for wooden), nailing (for wooden), screwing, glued, welding, providing hinges placing every part in-tact condition and polishing the disturbed portion(wooden) as applicable as per drgs. (ii) Cleaning/ De-rusting of Stain/ Dirt with Sand Paper (wooden), emery Paper (steel), making the Surface smooth, filling the holes with Putty wherever required and applying two coats of French Polish including necessary preparation over wooden items or two coats of synthetic enamel paint(colour as decided by Engr-in-charge/GE) over a coat of Red Oxide Primer including necessary preparation etc., for steel items, complete, all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note: (a) Work will be executed where the furniture exist in different User Units of GE Shillong including BSO's Furniture Yard complete as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (b) All painting will be done by using Spray gun by skilled painter. (c) Timber shall be first class teakwood.

Polishing of Wooden Furniture Material and labour for removing/scrubbing of all old polished surfaces by using grinding machine & sand paper/ emary paper etc, including filling of cavities by putty/filler/sealer, preparation of old wooden surfaces by applying sienna/ burnt sienna uniformally and applying two coats of french/Lacquere polish using spray machine to obtain glossy finish to the following wooden furniture items complete all as specified including complete, as directed by Engg-in-Charge.
