Cutting in earth work in by mechanical in all heights and depths in all kinds of soils, including saturated soils comprising of pick work, jumper work and blasting work both in soft and hard rock with chiseling and wedging out of rock (where blasting is prohibited) and their intermediate classification of soils including, dewatering wherever required, setting of to the required lines, levels as shown on the drawing and directed by the Engineer -in-charge at site., according to the HP.PWD. specification of 1990 (one thousand nine hundred ninety) volume-I (one) and sorting out useful and unuseful material and transportation of the unuseful material for disposing at dumping site (To be arranged by the contractor) as per satisfaction of Engineer- in -charge through all modes of transportation including head load ,animal load or mechanical means along with its leveling fine dressing and with all kinds of labour, machineries, tools equipments and safety measures and incidentals necessary to complete the work by mechanical means and labour ( if required ). All useful material such as stones, shingles aggregate and slates shall be properly stacked at site to the maximum possible extent in all leads and lifts through all modes of transportation as per the directions of the Engineer-in-Charge. Any loss to the public and private property during the course of execution and disposal of serviceable and unserviceable materials shall be the absolute responsibility of the contractor and shall have to be duly compensated by him in all respects including all incidental charges.

Earth work in excavation for structure in all depths as per drawing and technical specification for rural roads August 2004 clause 305.1 including setting out, construction of shoring and bracing, removal of stumps and other deleterious materials and disposal in all leads and lifts including dressing of sides and bottom and back filling in trenches with excavated suitable materials. All work of rock cutting by blasting shall be carried out by taking all necessary precautions against soil erosion damage to hill side water pollution etc. and to protect stability of hill side rock shall be excavated with chiselling and wedging out rock (where blasting is prohibited) all earth work in cutting/ excavation including rock excavation shall be carried out true to lines grades, side slopes, width , camber super elevation and level as shown on the drawings or as directed by the Engineer-in-charge hauling and stacking of materials useful for construction at suitable sites and safe disposal of unsuitable cut materials in specified dimension or as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. If the foundation of the structure is in an area with stagnant water or water is met with in the excavation due to spring seepage rain and other causes it shall be remove by suitable diversion bailing out or pumping as directed and the area of the foundation or embankment shall be kept dry. All the surplus excavated earth to be dumped at dumping site(dumping sites will be arranged by the contractor on his own cost).Any loss to the public or private property during the course of excavation shall be the sole responsibility of the contractor which shall have to be dully compensated by him at his on cost in all cases. including carriage of materials in all leads and lifts as per the directions of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and laying cement concrete M-20 grade, 1:2:4(One cement two sand four graded) stone aggregate 20 mm(twenty milimetres) nominal size) in all depths mechanically mixed and vibrated and placing in foundation ensuring non segregation with curing and form work of steel including all leads, lifts and carriage of materials machineries, Tools and plants at site of work even with mechanical means and conforming to MORTH (Ministry of road transport & Highway specifications) latest revision and as per the direction of Engineer-in-Charge. ( a) Nominal mix

Providing concrete for plain/reinforced concrete in open foundations complete as per drawings and technical specifications Clause 802,803,1202 & 1203 including carriage of materials in all leads and lifts as per the directions of the Engineer-in-Charge. I. P.C.C. grade M 10 (i) Nominal mix 1:3:6 (One cement :three sand: six graded stone aggregate)

Providing weapholes in brick masonry / stone masonry /plain reinforced concrete abutment, wing wall, return wall with 100 mm(one hundred milimetre) dia PVC pipe extending through the full with of the structures with slop of 1(v):20(H) towards drawing face complete as per drawing and technical specification clauses 614, 709, 1204.3.7 including carriage of materials in all leads and lifts as per the directions of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Backfilling behind abutment, wing wall and return wall complete as per drawings & technical specification Clause 1204.3.8 including carriage of materials in all leads and lifts as per the directions of the Engineer-in-Charge. (i)Granular material

Providing salt glazed stoneware drain pipe of the following internal diameter in position inlcuding supplying fixing and jointing double socked and jointing spigot and of pipe to the same with stiff mixture of cement mortar 1:1 (One cement: One sand)including carriage of materials in all leads and lifts as per the directions of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Steel work welded in built up sections, trusses and framed work including cutting hoisting fixing in position and applying a priming coat of red lead paint including carriage of materials in all leads and lifts as per the directions of the Engineer-in-Charge. (a) In gratings , framed guard bars, ladders, railing, brackets and similar works.

(a)Dismantling of existing strucutres like culverts, bridge, retaining walls and other structure comprising of stone masonry including disposal of un-serviceable material will all lifts and leads of 1000m(one thousand metre) as per technical specification clause 202 including carriage of materials in all leads and lifts as per the directions of the Engineer-in-Charge.(i) Rubble stone masonry in cement mortar.

(ii) Dry Rubble Masonry

(b) Dismantling steel work in all types of Sections upto all height of above Plinth level excluding cutting of rivet as per Technical Specification Clause 202 including carriage of materials in all leads and lifts as per the directions of the Engineer-in-Charge. (i) Dismentalling of M.C. Rain shelter (steel structure & CGI sheet roofing).

Preparation of sub-graded by dressing to camber (earth work for the cutting involved for sub grade to be paid for separately depending upon the classification of soil) completed as per HP PWD Specifications including carriage of materials in all leads and lifts as per the directions of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Consolidation of sub grade with road roller including making good the undulations etc. with earth or quarry soil etc. and re-rolling the sub-grade completed as per HP PWD Specifications 1990 volume-I including carriage of materials in all leads and lifts as per the directions of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing, laying, spreading and compacting stone aggregates of specific sizes to water bound macadam specification including spreading in uniform thickness, hand packing, rolling with three wheel 80-100 kN static roller in stages to proper grade and camber, applying and brooming, stone screening/ binding materials to fill-up the interstices of coarse aggregate, watering and compacting to the required density Grading I as per Technical Specification Clause 405 including carriage of materials in all leads and lifts as per the directions of the Engineer-in-Charge. (a) By Mechanical Means

Providing, laying, spreading and compacting stone aggregates of specific sizes to water bound macadam specification including spreading in uniform thickness, hand packing, rolling with smooth wheel roller 80-100 kN in stages to proper grade and camber, applying and brooming, stone screening /binding materials to fill up the interstices of coarse aggregate, watering and compacting to the required density grading II as per Technical Specification Clause 405 including carriage of materials in all leads and lifts as per the directions of the Engineer-in-Charge.(a) By Mechancial Means

Providing, laying, spreading and compacting stone aggregates of specific sizes to water bound macadam specification including spreading in uniform thickness, hand packing, rolling with smooth wheel roller 80-100 kN in stages to proper grade and camber, applying and brooming, stone screening to fill-up the interstices of coarse aggregate, watering and compacting to the required density Grading III as per Technical Specification Clause 405 including carriage of materials in all leads and lifts as per the directions of the Engineer-in-Charge. (a) By Mechanical Means.

Providing and applying primer coat with Bitumen emulsion (SS-1) on prepared surface of granular base including cleaning of road surface and spraying primer at the rate of 0.90- 1.2 Kg./Sqm. using mechanical means as per Techanical Specification Clause 502 including carriage of materials in all leads and lifts as per the directions of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and applying tack coat with paving Bitumen emulsion (RS-I) using emulsion distributor at the rate of 0.25 to 0.30Kg.(zero point two five to zero point three zero) per sqm on the prepared bituminous surface cleaned with Hydraulic broom as per Technical Specification Clause 503 including carriage of materials in all leads and lifts as per the directions of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and laying bituminous macadam with hot mix plant using curshed aggregates of grading as per Table 500.4 premixed with bituminous binder, transported to site upto a lead of 1000mtr. (one thousand metre)laid over a previously prepared surface with paver finisher to the required grade, level and alignment and rolled to achieve the desired compaction as per Technical Specification Clause 504 including carriage of materials in all leads and lifts as per the directions of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and laying 30mm (thirty milimetre)thick bituminous concrete with 100-120 TPH batch type hot mix plant producing an average output of 75 tonnes (seventy five tonnes) per hour crushed aggregates of specified grading, premixed with bituminous binder @ 5.40 to 5.60% (five point four zero to five point six zero percent) of mix and filler, transporting the hot mix to work site, laying with a hydrostatic paver finisher with sensor control to the required grade, level and alignment, rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem rollers to achieve the desired compaction as per MORTH specification clause No.508 including carriage of materials in all leads and lifts as per the directions of the Engineer-in-Charge.
