RENOVATION OF HOUSE NO. 516 (TYPE V) SECTOR 16 CHANDIGARH.

Dismantling of ceramic tiles or vitrified and plaster to making the surface clean for refixing the glazed tiles including removing of malba complete in all respect and to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer in charge.

Providing and laying vitrified floor tiles of size 600 x 600 mm (thickness to be specified by the manufacturer) with water absorption less than 0.08% and conforming to IS : 15622, of approved brand & manufacturer, in all colours and shade. The tiles are to be fixed with 3mm grove using spacers. The tiles are to be laid on 20mm thick cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand), jointing with grey cement slurry @ 3.3kg/sqm The grove are to be filled with cementitious grout mix with proportion of 0.90 kg grout and 0.10 kg of hardener for each kg of filling material. Double charge vitrified tile of size 600x600 mm

Providing and fixing 1st quality ceramic glazed wall tiles conforming to IS: 15622 (thickness to be specified by the manufacturer), of approved make, in all colours, shades except burgundy, bottle green, black of any size as approved by Engineer-in-Charge, in skirting, risers of steps and dados, over 12 mm thick bed of cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement : 3 coarse sand) and jointing with grey cement slurry @ 3.3kg per sqm, including pointing in white cement mixedwith pigment ofmatching shade complete.

Providing and fixing 8mm thick wooden laminated floor class of use 31/23 having wear resistance level of AC-3 as per EN-13329 with a direct pressure laminate surface including profile, treated with aluminium side, flooring of approved colour and shade complete in all respects and to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer in charge.

Providing and fixing 2nd class teak wood (kiln seasoned) chowkhat 4 1/2" x 2 1/4"including cost of corner straps, iron hold fasts, hinges, screws,nails, fevicol etc. and spirit polish of chowkhats. Rate includes the cost of dismantling of all damaged chowkhats and making good the damage to walls plaster and floors as required including, disposal of rubbish to the dumping ground the rate further includes the cost of two coats Spirit polish complete in all respect and to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and fixing 35mm thick phenol bounded factory manufactured solid flush door shutter ISI marked with both side 4mm teak ply in the existing chowkhat. The rate includes the cost of all necessary stainless steel fittings and french spirit polish on teak ply complete in all respect to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and fixing 35mm thick second class teak wood (kiln seasoned) wire gauge window shutters consisting of vertical and horizontal styles 75x35mm size with wire mesh 22 x 12mm gauge fixed with 1/2" x 3/4" teak wood beading. The rate further includes the cost of 3" butt hinges stainless steel tower bolts 4", 4" stainless steel handle 2nos, stay 1no, screws, nails etc. I-hook, french spirit polishing two or more coats complete in all respect to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and fixing 35mm thick 2nd class teak wood (kiln seasoned) glazed window shutters consisting of vertical and horizontal styles 75x35mm size with 4mm thick floated glass pane fixed with 1/2"x3/4" teak wood (kiln seasoned) beading. The rate further includes the cost of 3" butt hinges, S.S. Tower bolts 4", S.S. handles 2 nos. I-hook and two coats of Spirit Polish after preparation of surface (special quality) complete in all respect to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and fixing wooden cabinet of 13½” deep and 2’-0" height with open able shutter at wall above 4’-9" height consisting of 19mm thick with commercial board (ISI marked) lipped with teak wood lipping of 19mm x 6mm on exposed edges include cost of nail, screws, auto hinges, synthetic adhesive etc. The front shutter and sides are to be furnished with 1mm thick ISI marked superior quality mica of approved shade and inner side of the cabinet with 0.8mm thick mica of approved shade fixed in position with help of wooden gutties at wall complete in al respect to the entire satisfaction of Engineer in charge.

Providing and fixing of kitchen cabinet below working shelves made out with 19mm thick commercial ISI marked plyboard and front portion of the cabinet furnished with 1mm thick superior quality sun mica of outer side and 0.8mm thick sun mica inner side of the cabinet for fixing the kitchen accessories and jack at bottom synthetic enamel paint over remaining portion. It is also include the cost of sprit polishing on the edge of the lipping cost of stainless steel handle, adhesive, nail, screws etc. complete fixed in position to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge.
