REPAIR / MAINT AND ATTENDING WATER SUPPLY COMPLAINTS FOR LEAKAGES/ BLOCKAGES OF PIPE LINE INCLUDING CONNECTED WORKS AT MINNIEBAY AREA UNDER AGE E/M II AT GE MINNIEBAY, PORT BLAIR

M&L for detecting and repairing leakage in CI/DI pipe lines of size 300/350/400mm bore, taking up unserviceable /serviceable CI/DI water main with spigot and socket ends (including fittings) of any type/grade and joints from trenches and laying new CI/DI pipe lines of size 300 /350 /400mm bore in trenches or placing on existing pillers /supports as directed and specified to includnig the following:-

Execution and earth work in soil / mud by using machinery/labour to suitable length (Appx 10 mtrs) and forming bund with excavated soil to avoid sea / row water entering into the working area including pumping / bailing out water by using portable desal engine driven pump set.

Cutting of CI / DI pipe of size 300mm/350mm/400mm bore after through inspetion for the damaged pipe line including disconnecting / dismantling.

Taking out CI/DI pipe with CI/DI specials after removing from joints/burning out joints and removing lead at both ends with the help of hydrolic crane other machinery and keeping aside for further disposal.

Cutting of new pipe into pieces as per rquirement and laying using machinery.

Alinging the pipe line as per site condition, in setting the CI Collar suitable for 300/350/400mm CI/DI pipe.

Attending repair work within the minimum time frame/period as specified by Engr - in - charge.

Notes for Items No 01 above :- (a) The unit rate is deemed to include cost of tools and plants and transprtation required for attending the repair work. (b) Supply only CI/DI pipe shall be measured & paid for seperately under relevant item of this schedule. (c) Extra soil required for refilling / making bunds to prevent water entering into the work place shall be deemed to include in the unit rate. (d) Specials / rubber or fiber/ lead joints shal be measured and paid for seperately under relevent items of this schedule. (e) Old unsv CI/DI pipes, fittings, lead, nuts, bolts, washer, gaskets etc. shall become contractors property and necessary recovery as per schedule of credit shall be deducted from contractor..

All as per item No 1 above but for CI/DI pipe line of size 80/100/150mm

M&L for attending of water supply complaints for any leakage/blockage in GI pipe lines of size 20mm/25mm bore taking up serviceable / unserviceable GI water pipe lines with all fitings/fixtures from trench including supply and laying GI tubing 20mm/25mm bore up to 1 mtr length (max) including necessary cutting, treading and replacement of unserviceablel GI fittings such as GI socket /Nipple/union socket, Tee, Tee reducer etc. of size 20mm/25mm including necessary excavation and earth work upto 1 mtr length to repair the leakage/clearing the blockage in the pipe line and testing on completion Note : Replacement of unserviceable GI fittings such as GI socket /Nipple/union socket/Tee/Tee reducer etc. shall be measured and paid separately under relevant items of this Schedule

Excavating in trenches in soft / loose soil, n.exc 1.5m wide and n.exc 1.5m in depth: for foundation, etc. or for shafts, wells, cessapits, manholes, pier holes, etc. n.exc 10 Sq.m on plan and in.exc 1.5m in depth and getting in soft/dense soil out all as specified and directed.

Excavating in trenches in hard / dense soil, n.exc 1.5m wide and n.exc 1.5m in depth: for foundation, etc. or for shafts, wells, cessapits, manholes, pier holes, etc. n.exc 10 Sq.m on plan and in.exc 1.5m in depth and getting in hard/dense soil out all as specified and directed

Returning, filling in, using excavated soil including spreading, levelling watering and well ramming in layers n.exc. 25cm as specified and as directed.

Removing the surplus excavated material to a distance n.exc 50m and depositing where directed at a level n.exc 1.5m above starting point.

Taking up or down old/chocked water tubing 20/25/50 mm bore with fittings from trenchs/walls cleaning for refixing in new or old position or credit to contractor all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix in replacement of 20mm dia CPVC pipes SDR 11 including fittings on walls/ceilings/laying in trenches complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix in replacement of 25mm dia CPVC pipes SDR 11 including fittings on walls/ceilings/laying in trenches complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix in replacement of 50mm dia CPVC pipes SDR 11 including fittings on walls/ceilings/laying in trenches complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for fabrication of mild steel (MS) Ladder at local civil work shop made out of angle iron of size 65X65X6mm for main member, 50X50X6mm for steps and 40X40X5mm for support to existing wall of the building including necessary cutting, welding, grainding etc, the distance between two concecutive steps shall be 0.30 mtr, the distance between 1st step and ground level shall be 1mtr and over all width of the ladder shall be 0.68 mtr,total length of the ladder shall be suitable for multi storey bldgs viz G+1 , G+2 and G+3 / under ground sump as required & transporting to site in Minniebay Area, grouting the ladder in ground (at various locations of Ajay Baugh and Srinagar area) and grouting the supporting angle iron member with existing wall of the bldg with PCC 1:2:4 and top of the ladder shall be supported with parapet wall/top slab of the bldg including painting with two coats of synthetic enamel paint black/smoke grey colour/shade over a coat of red oxide primer all as specified and directed

Supply only TDS testing kit for pump house to check TDS valve

Supply only Chlorine testing kit fo pump house to calibirate chlorine value

Supply and fix in repalcement of MCCB 250 Amp , 3 pole,415 volts for Motor starter incoming all as specified.

Supply and fix in repalcement of MCCB 160 Amp , 3 pole,415 volts for Motor starter incoming all as specified.

Supply and fix in repalcement of Contactor 3 pole 415 volts 70 Amps ML-4(control voltage 230/415 as per existing model.) all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix in repalcement of Contactor 3 pole 415 volts 40 Amps ML-3(control voltage 230/415 as per existing model.) all as specified and directed.

Disconnecting electrical connection of Centrifugal pump set of capacity 30/40HP/60 HP and taking out complete assembly with electric motor, transporting to workshop and testing the complete and refixing with new, nuts, bolts & washers and fitting the same after the following repairs as mentioned here in after all as directed.

M&L for re-winding of unserviceable/burnt Centrifugal pump set of capacity 30/40/60HP HP, removing all burnt out coils, cleaning the slots and rewinding the same with supper enameled copper winding wire of same as existing gauge and reassembling , testing and commissioning of electric motor on full load for 4-6 hours continuous running of the capacity 30 /40/60HP complete in all respects to the entire satisfaction of Engr-in-Charge

S&F in replacement of Rotational moulded polyetheylene (HDPE) Water Tanks, Cylindrical & Vertical Type, double layered, ISI marked, hoisted and fixed in position including provision of 40mm / 25mm dia spouts for connecting inlet, outlet, over flow and washout pipes complete including taking down old tanks and removing to store complete all as specified and as directed of following capacities :-

Taking down unserviciable air release valve and refixing the same in its original position / location with nuts and bolts by replacing / repair of minor spare parts like ball valve tap, gaskets and necessry cleaning for its smooth functioning of following sizes:-
