Supply, installing, commissioning and testing static Silent Diesel Engine driven generating set capable of delivering 125KVA, 415 volts AC 3 Phase, 4 wire system of supply, 50 HZ at power factor 0.8 minimum, as per IS: 10001/10002 and alternator as per IS:13364 complete with relay panel for automatic starting on mains failure, control panel (AMF) having meters, sound proof canopy and The DG set shall consist of a diesel engine coupled directly to a matching alternator and mounted on Anti vibration pads of approved make on a common base frame and thereafter installed in the CPCB norms approved acoustic enclosure complete with control panel standardized by manufacturer, complete all as specified and directed and shall comprise of the following:- (a) Engine (prime mover) : Directly coupled Diesel engine water cooled suitably de-rated of matching BHP for driving 125 KVA capacity alternator electric start, four stroke designed to run continuously at 1500 RPM confirming to latest IS 10001/10002 , ISO-3046, BS 5514 standerd with an over load capacity of 10% for for one hour in every 12 hrs operation complete with following accessories :- (i) Fly wheel to suit flexible coupling (ii) Flexible coupling with guards (iii) Dry type Air cleaner with filters iv) Lubricating oil filter v) Anti-vibration pad as recommended by manufacturer’s vi) PT/Mico fuel pump with electronic governor of suitable capacity (vii) Self-starter 12 volts DC (viii)Battery chargine alternator (ix) Lead acid storage or dry type battery as recommended by manufacturer along with flexible copper battery lead and connector x) Battery rack made out of MS angle ingle frame as recommended by manufacturer’s (xi) standard safety device as recommended by manufacturer’s (xii) daily service fuel tank for full running capacity of DG set for min 08 hours enclosed within the canopy all as per CPCB with lever indicator inlet, fuel outlet drain pug, air vent and locking arrangement’s etc. (xiii) Exhaust system shall be provided with thermal insulation by using fire retardant / non igniting foam conforming to BS-4735 to prevent excess heat radiation on the engine and stage for operator.

(xiv) Engine display should have following:- (a) KW, KVA, KWH, KVAR, Power Factor, Phase to Phase & Phase to Neutral Voltage, Ampere etc., (aa) Lubrication oil temperature (ab) Lubrication oil pressure (ac) water temperature ad) Battery voltage (af) Indicator lamp etc (ag) Safety measure :- (i) Low lubricant oil pressure trip (ii) High coolant temperature trip iii) Engine over speed tripiv) Battery charging alternator (v) Emergency stop pressed. (b) Alternator : 125 KVA at 0.8 power factor, self-regulated 3 phase with neutral 415 Volts 50 Hz 1500 RPM , in SPDP enclosure, self-excited & self-reregulated, brush less as per IS 4722, BS EN 60034-1& will be suitable for tropical condition complete with automatic voltage regulator and foot mounted regulator and foot mounted including making cable connection. The salient feature of alternator are as under:- (i) Voltage regulation under static condition + 1.5% (ii) Class 'H' insulation (iii) Permanently lubricating bearing (iv) Capable to make 10% over load for one hour for every 12 hours

Supply and lay LTcable XLPE insulated screened PVC Bedded, galvanised steel strip or wire armoured, electric power cables (heavy duty) 1100 V grade with stranded aluminium conductor of size 95 Sqmm 3.5 Core.

Shifting of existing BER D G set 125 KVA ( Floor mounted ) from Tech area sub stn to MES stor Yard (Distance up to 2.0 KM) by disconnection all electrical connection Engr - in- charge. : The rate of T&P (Crane and other eqpt as reqd at site for shifting and loading/unloading are also included in the quoted rates.

M&L for earthing in repair and earthing complete with GI earth plate electrode 600x600x6 mm thick,burried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 Mtr deep below ground level ) with top edge of the pl;ate not less than 1.5 Mtr below normal ground level,connected to G I strip 32x6 mm as earth lead by means of bolts,nuts ,washer and check nut of galvanized steel, protected by and including GI pipe 50 mm bore (light grade) and connected to main switch / MCB DBs box point / LP test point as directed and including cement concret pit in 1:2:4 type B1 using 12.5mm graded aggregate, with cast iron miled steel frame embedded in the concrete enclouser fineshed flushed & PCC cover of size (300mmx300mm) all as shown under electrical plate of SSR Pt - I 2009 and as directed including painting the external surface of chamber & cover with enamel paint in diffrent colour as directed and writing earth results & date of test carried out with white paint on black painted background, wiremesh funnel 20 mm bore GI pipe medium grade for watering adequate quantity of charcol and common salt in alternate layer of 15cm 3ft x 3ft thick all around the electrode including necessery excavation & earth work in any type of soil complete testing on completion all as directed. Note:- i) Filling the pit with black cottan soil brought at site. ii) The excavated soil will be removed & paid separtely.Note:-(a).Earth resitance should be less than 5 Ohm up to Warranty period one year. (b).In case earth resitances not found satisfactorily contractor will redo the same earthing.
