Construction of Utility Annexe building at CeNSE for SID-GEECI program at IISc campus, Bengaluru

STRUCTURAL DESIGN Providing Structural Design by Engaging qualified and reputed Structural Consultant (to be approved CeNSE, SID) . The scope of work includes Soil investigation, design, planning, preparation of drawings, preparation of documents and periodic site supervision as per the list mentioned below:- a) Conducting Soil investingation through specilised agency ( Agency to be approved by CeNSE, SID) and providing investigation report. b) Arriving at appropriate solutions for various structural systems as per project requirement after several discussions and meetings c) Preparation of structural loading estimates, schematics, preliminary layouts for approvals d) Preparation of the Design Basis Report e) Carrying out design calculations for the various systems f) Preparation of working drawings and details for execution of work and issue (6 sets with additional one or two sets for proof checking if required including soft copy) for the buildings and site infrastructure . g) Taking care of number of revisions / changes to suit site conditions and modifications in original design to meet client / users requirements from time to time. h) Coordination with other agencies to facilitate for smooth execution of works i) Issuance of design reports and models (soft copy) to Third Party checker appointed by the client and coordination with the Third Party checker to ensure that the design is optimized. j) On-site approval of formwork and reinforcement placement prior to concrete pours. k) Periodic supervision, quality checks and inspection of work for the building and site infrastructure l) Provide soft copies, technical data to the Contractor to prepare the mark up for the As-Built drawings m) Update As-Built drawings and certification of the latter. Payment Terms : 25% on receipt of All Sub-Structure drawings after approval by Peer Review Consultant. 50% on receipt of All Super-Structure drawings after approval by Peer Review Consultant. Balance after submission of As built drawing. Retention Terms apply.

Same as Item No 1 but by Manual means where mechanical means is not possible.

De-watering using Electrical / Deisel pump up to 5Hp when required including necesscery hose pipes, fuel, Operator charges etc. complete.

KSR (Vol.I) 1.9: Filling available excavated earth (excluding rock) in trenches, plinth, sides of foundations and other similar works etc. in layers not exceeding 20cm in depth, consolidating each deposited layer by ramming and watering, lead up to 50 m and lift upto 1.5 m.

3. ANTI-TERMITE TREATMENT KSR (Vol.II) 4.1 Providing and injecting chemical emulsion for Pre-constructional Anti-Termite Treatment, creating continuous chemical barrier under and around the column pits, walls, trenches, basement excavation, top surface of the plinth filling, junction of wall and floor, along the external perimeter of building, expansion joints, over the top surface of consolidated earth on which apron is to be laid, surrounding of pipes and conduits with Chlorpyriphos 20% E.C. / Lindane 20% E.C. @ 3.19 l/m2 including cost of chemical, diluting in water to one percent concentration, labour, usage charges of machinery, complete as per specifications.

4. CONCRETE WORKS KSR (Vol.I) 2.1 Providing and laying in position plain cement concrete for levelling course for all works in foundation. The granite/trap/basalt crushed graded coarse aggregates and fine aggregates as per relevant IS Codes machine mixed, laid in layers not exceeding 150 mm thickness, well compacted using plate vibrators, including all lead & lifts, cost of all materials of quality, labour, Usage charges of machineries, curing, and all the other appurtenances required to complete the work as per technical specifications. (The cost of steel reinforcement & formwork shall be paid separately) KSR (Vol.I) 2.1.3 Mix 1:3:6 (M10) Using 40 mm nominal size graded crushed coarse aggregates

KSR (Vol.I) 2.2. Providing and laying in position Reinforced cement concrete for all Foundation works. The granite/ trap/ basalt crushed graded coarse aggregates and fine aggregates as per relevant IS Codes machine mixed with super plasticizers laid in finished layers, well compacted using needle vibrators, including all lead & lifts, cost of all materials, quality confirming to the requirements of relevant IS codes , labour, Usage charges of machinery, curing and all the other appurtenances required to complete the work as per technical specifications. (The cost of steel reinforcement & formwork to be paid separately) . KSR (Vol.I) 2.2.3.1 M30 Design Mix Using 20 mm nominal size graded crushed coarse aggregates

KSR (Vol.I) 2.5. Providing and laying in position Reinforced cement concrete for all Super structures of building , Road works, Water works, Irrigation works & super structure works of bridges upto 3.50 m height. The granite/ trap/basalt crushed graded coarse aggregates and fine aggregates as per relevant IS Codes machine mixed with super plasticisers laid in layers, well compacted using needle vibrators. The cost includes all lead & lifts, cost of all materials, quality confirming to the requirements of relevant IS codes , labour, Usage charges of machinery, curing and all other appurtenances required to complete the work as per technical specifications. (The cost of steel reinforcement, dowel bars & formwork to be paid separately)

KSR (Vol.I) 2.5..3 : M30 Design Mix Using 20 mm nominal size graded crushed coarse aggregates

REINFORCEMENT STEEL KSR (Vol.II) 11.32 Providing Thermo-Mechanically Treated bars of grade Fe-500D or more Steel reinforcement for R.C.C. work including straightening, cutting, bending, placing in position, binding and anchoring to adjacent members whereever necessary complete as per Design including cost of material, labour, usage charges complete as per specifications. (The laps and wastages shall not be measured separately)

6. SHUTTERING WORKS Providing, fabricating and erecting form work at all levels and places wherever needed / specified as per drawing including striking with 12 mm Plastic coated, marine resistant waterproof ply/Smooth finished MS plates with adjustable steel props of acceptable Staging system and with sufficient bracing as approved by consultant with repetations not more than five times subject to approval of architect. Cost to include designing of proper form work and staging system to suit the requirements, Submission of design calculations and shop drawings for approval, sealing the joints with heavy duty brown self-adhesive tape, aligning to line and levels including M.S. Ties, PVC Spacer, Providing openings/ cut outs/ pockets, applying de-shuttering chemical, De-shuttering as approved by the consultant etc., complete at all levels / floors. Providing and removing centering, shuttering, strutting, propping etc., and removal of form work for foundations, footings, bases of columns for mass concrete including cost of all materials, labour complete as per specificaitons.

Providing and removing centering, shuttering, strutting, propping etc., and removal of form work for suspended floors, landings, balconies and likes, thickness upto 200 mm including cost of all materials, labour complete as per specificaitons for all floors to the shuttering heights up to 4.50m from the form work base.

7. MASONRY WORKS KSR (Vol.II) 6.32 :Providing and constructing load bearing wall with Solid Concrete blocks of size 400x200x200mm having block density more than 1800kg/m3 and minimum compressive strength of 4.00 N/mm2 conforming to IS 2185 (Part - I) - 2005 and constructed with CM 1:4 as per IS 2572:2005 including cost of all materials, labour, scaffolding and curing, usage charges of machinery etc complete as per specifications.

KSR (Vol.II) 6.33 :Providing and constructing load bearing wall with Solid Concrete blocks of size 400x150x200mm having block density more than 1800kg/m3 and minimum compressive strength of 4.00 N/mm2 conforming to IS 2185 (Part - I) - 2005 and constructed with CM 1:4 as per IS 2572:2005 including cost of all materials, labour, scaffolding and curing, usage charges of machinery etc complete as per specifications.

8.FINISHING WORKS KSR (Vol.II)8.10: Providing 6 mm cement plaster with cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement : 3 fine sand) to ceiling including rounding off corners wherever required smooth rendering, providing and removing scaffolding, including cost of materials, labour, curing complete as per specifications and as per directions of Engineer-in-charge.

KSR (Vol.II) 8.7: Providing 15 mm cement plaster with cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement: 3 coarse sand) finished with a floating coat of neat cement for wall including rounding off corners wherever required smooth rendering, providing and removing scaffolding, including cost of materials, labour, curing complete as per specifications and as per directions of Engineer-in-charge.

KSR (Vol.II) 8.9: Providing 18 mm cement plaster in two coats under layer 12 mm thick cement plaster with cement mortar 1:5 (1 cement : 5 coarse sand) and a top layer 6 mm thick cement plaster with cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement : 3 coarse sand) finished rough with sponge to brick masonry including rounding off corners wherever required smooth rendering, providing and removing scaffolding, including cost of materials, labour, curing complete as per specifications and as per directions of Engineer-in-charge.

KSR (Vol.II) 8.13: Extra for plastering exterior walls of height more than 10 m from ground level for every additional height of 3 m or part thereof including cost of material, labour, scaffolding etc as per specifications and as per directions of the Engineer-in-Charge.

KSR (Vol.II) 8.51 :Providing and applying white cement based putty of average thickness 1 mm, of approved brand and manufacturer, over the plastered wall surface to prepare the surface even and smooth complete as per specifications and as per directions of Engineer in charge.

KSR (Vol.II) 8.55.2 : Applying priming coats with primer of approved brand and manufacture, having low VOC (Volatile Organic Compound) content. With water thinnable cement primer on wall surface having VOC content less than 50 grams/litre as per specifications and as per directions of Engineer in charge.

KSR (Vol.II) 8.39 : Wall painting with acrylic emulsion paint of approved brand and manufacture to give an even shade :Two coats on new work after thoroughly brooming the surface to remove all dirt, dust, mortar drops and foreign matter including preparing the surface even and sand paper smooth, cost of materials, labour complete as per specifications and as per directions of Engineer-in-charge.- FOR INTERIOR WALL

KSR (Vol.II) 8.32 :Finishing walls with 100% Premium acrylic emulsion paint having VOC less than 50 gm/litre and UV resistance as per IS 15489:2004, Alkali & fungal resistance, dirt resistance exterior paint of required shade (Company Depot Tinted) with silicon additives, New work (Two coats applied @ 1.43 litre/ 10 m². Over and including priming coat of exterior primer applied @ 0.90 litre/10 m² with paint of approved quality to give an even shade, after thoroughly brooming the surface to remove all dirt, dust, mortar drops and foreign matter including preparing the surface even and sand paper smooth, cost of materials, labour complete as per specifications and as per directions of Engineer-in-charge. - FOR EXTERNAL WALL

KSR (Vol.II) 8.41 :Painting with synthetic enamel paint of approved brand and manufacture of required colour to give an even shade :Two coats on new work over an under coat of suitable shade with ordinary paint of approved brand and manufacture after thoroughly brooming the surface to remove all dirt, dust, mortar drops and foreign matter including preparing the surface even and sand paper smooth, cost of materials, labour complete as per specifications and as per directions of Engineer-in-charge.

9. FLOORING WORKS KSR (Vol.II) 9.12: Providing and laying vitrified floor tiles in different sizes (thickness to be specified by the manufacturer) with water absorption less than 0.08% and conforming to IS: 15622, of approved make, in all colours and shades, laid on 20mm thick cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand), jointing with grey cement slurry @ 3.3 kg/ m2 including grouting the joints with white cement and matching pigments etc., complete KSR (Vol.II) 9.12.2 Size of Tile 600x600 mm

KSR (Vol.II) 9.19: Providing and laying Vitrified tiles in different sizes (thickness to be specified by the manufacturer), with water absorption less than 0.08% and conforming to IS: 15622, of approved brand & manufacturer, in all colours and shade, in skirting, riser, treads of steps, laid with cement based high polymer modified quick set tile adhesive (water based) conforming to IS: 15477, in average 6 mm thickness.

KSR (Vol.II) 9.1: Providing and laying Cement concrete flooring 40 mm thick with 20 mm nominal size stone aggregate using 1:2:4 (1 cement : 2 coarse sand : 4 graded stone aggregate) finished with a floating coat of neat cement (using power float), including cement slurry complete.

Providing and laying Vacuum Dewatered Cement Flooring 75 mm thick using RCC M20 grade using 20 mm and down gauge graded granite aggregate laid in panels as per structural drawing laid to proper level, slope or fall and top surface finished smooth using mechanical float and disc, including vibrating, vacuum dewatering, mechanical troweling, cleaning of base, form work, curing etc., complete as per directions of engineer in charge

Cutting Grooves in Cement concrete Floor to the size of 6mm x25mm and filling with approved Poly sulphide seant, including cost of masking tape etc. complete

KSR (Vol.II) 22.0 (24): Providing and laying 5mm thick Self levelling epoxy flooring of reputed brand applied at 1ltr/m2 on existing Concrete substrate of 25Mpa or more. The Concrete shall be free from any defects and cracks. The epoxy compound shall have low VOC (Based on USEPA Method 24 Section 11.2.2 & ASTM D2369-98) and is chemically resistant & antimicrobial. The surface of Concrete shall be cleaned thoroughly and free from laitance and applied with primer cured for 6-8 hours. The mix shall be mixed using Hand mixing rotary machine. The underlay shall be laid with 3mm thickness and overlay at 2mm. The entire operation shall be finished in line with epoxy coving and marked with 100mm thickness Yellow marking lines complete as per the direction of Engineer in charge.

10. STRUCTURAL STEEL & MS WORKS KSR(Vol.II) 11.25.1 : Providing and fixing Steel work welded in built up sections/ framed work, including cutting, hoisting, fixing in position and applying a priming coat of approved steel primer using structural steel etc. as required. In stringers, treads, landings etc. of stair cases, including use of chequered plate wherever required, all complete including cost of materials, labour, usage charges of machinery complete as per specifications and as per directions of the Engineer-in-Charge.

KSR (Vol.II)11.26.1:Providing and fixing hand rail of approved size by welding etc. to steel ladder railing, balcony railing, staircase railing and similar works, including applying priming coat of approved steel primer. M.S. tube including cost of materials, labour, usage charges of machinery complete as per specifications and as per directions of the Engineerin- Charge.

KSR (Vol.II)11.34B : Providing and fixing M.S. grills of required pattern in frames of windows etc. with M.S. flats, square or round bars etc. including priming coat with approved steel primer all complete. Fixed to openings / wooden frames with rawl plugs screws etc.

11. JOINERIES KSR (Vol.II)12.88: Providing & fixing of 2-track x 2-panel sliding windows made out of multi chambered UPVC(Matching to RAL-9016) sections and with minimum TiO2(Titanium Dioxide) at 6PHR with TPE(Thermo Plastic Elastomer) and lead free, gaskets -grey colour having isolated drainage and reinforced with Galvanized Iron profile through-out the window frame.The outer frame having a overall size of 60mm width x 45mmheight withreinforcement of 1mm thickness and Sash with overall size of 39mm X58mm with GI reinforcement of 1mm for the frame and 1.5 mm for thesash. Coextruded Glazing bead for fixing of glass shall be of size 20mm x 24mm. Windows shall be provided with 5mm plain float glass, standard hardware& single point locking system with touch lock. Wall thickness of frame & sash shall be of 2-2.5 mm. Maximum possible size – 1819mm x 1819mm (The cost is inclusive of all fixtures and separate charges for minor T&P's shall not be made).

Providing and fixing factory-made uPVC (Matching to RAL-9016) Fixed glazed windows / ventilators comprising of uPVC multi-chambered frame of sizes to match with 2.5 track sliding window and mullion (where ever required) extruded profiles duly reinforced with 1.60 ± 0.2 mm thick galvanized mild steel section made from roll forming process of required length (shape & size according to uPVC profile),, uPVC extruded glazing beads of appropriate dimension, EPDM gasket, G.I fasteners 100 x 8 mm size for fixing frame to finished wall, plastic packers, plastic caps and necessary stainless steel screws etc. Profile of frame shall be mitred cut and fusion welded at all corners, mullion (if required) shall be also fusion welded including drilling of holes for fixing hardware's and drainage of water etc. After fixing frame the gap between frame and adjacent finished wall shall be filled with weather proof silicon sealant over backer rod of required size and of approved quality, all complete as per approved drawing & direction of Engineer-in-Charge. (Single / double glass panes and silicon sealant shall be paid separately).

KSR (Vol.II) 26.1: Single Leaf doorset - Insulated Fire rated doorset (FD 120) -Staircase / exit pathway application / Refuge area. Providing and fixing of ISI marked fire doors as per IS 3614:2021, 120 minutes fire rating with 30 minutes insulation single leaf doorset tested to IS/ISO 3008. Doorset shall include grooved step frame profile of 125x75mm made of 1.2mm GI (120GSM) and 60mm thick shutter made of 1.2mm GI (120GSM) with infill of 120kg density mineral wool. Grooved frame shall include EPDM smoke seal. Include hardwares, minimum 3nos SS ball bearing hinges of SS304 of size 100x89x3mm, 1no of Single point Panic device and external trim with key cylinder tested as per EN1125 and CE marked. 1no of Door closer with spring size of EN 3-5, as per EN1154 & CE marked. vision panel 200 x 300 with 6mm clear fire rated glass and finished in desired colour of powder coating not less than 50microns including suitable anchors & fire rated puff grouting all inclusive for fixing of doorset - for staircase / exit pathway / Refuge area applications.

Fire rated motorised rolling shutter 120min KSR (Vol.II) 31.1 : Providing and fixing of single skin fire rated rolling shutter FRS120 as per IS3614: 2021 and tested to IS/ISO 834-1, ISO 3008-1.from CBRI for maximum rating of 120min Slats shall be made from galvanised steel 0.8/1.2mm (22/18 guage) as per IS 277 of size 109mm of approved make Rolling shutter shall be certifire labled and approved for fire rating for 120minutes, stability and integrity. slats shall be of 0.8/1.2mm thick GI sheet forming to the door height, the bottom edge of the door shall be 100mm bar fabricated from 50mmX50mmX5mm thick Steel angle,Motor capacity shall be 1hp for size upto 5000mm x 5000mm, and 3hp for sizes above 5000mm x 5000mm. Connecting volt shall be 220Volt 50Hz 1 phase up to 5000mm x 5000mm, and 415V 50Hz 3 phase for bigger sizes. One unit Push Button Switch (Up, Stop, Down), IP 65. Current rating will be 5 Amp for sizes less than 5000mm x 5000mm, 9 Amp for more than 5000mm x 5000mm size. The fusible link shall be 24V solenoid release. Vendor should supply 16A, 3 pin, industrial male socket with 1m cable along with controller.

12. WATER PROOFING KSR (Vol.II) 15.2: Providing and Applying PU based Elastomeric Liquid Applied PU Waterproofing membrane single component, cold applied, water based acrylic PU dispersion with highly elastic and UV resistant water proofing treatment to the Existing Roof surface/Chajjas/Sunken portion of WC:Bathroom applied @ 1.2L/per m2,having tensile strength greater than 1.5N/mm2, elongation greater than 300% with solid content not less than 60% in 2 coats including surface preparation, priming the surface with water based acrylic primer @0.1 L/m2, and spreading 60 gsm geotextile between two top coats completely as per specification. The finished cost to include surface preparation, making coving at Junction, Bore Packing, treatment of construction joints completely as per specification & with a 10 years warranty on product & work from certified manufacturers as per the direction of the Engineer In charge.

KSR (Vol.II) 2.4.1:Providing and laying of 75 mm thick screed plain cement concrete 1:2:4 with 20 mm and downgraded stone aggregates wherever to required thickness, slope in flooring including placing, compaction, curing and finished with trowel finished smooth as directed, complete.

KSR (Vol.II) 15.7: Providing and supplying crystalline integral concrete waterproofing admixture that waterproofs concrete by forming crystals deep in the pores, capillaries and microcracks of the concrete, self-seal waterproofing compound to bridge shrinkage cracks upto 0.5mm in width & resist hydro-static pressure upto 16bar for both positive & negative pressure confirming to DIN 1048 part 5 for 56% reduction in depth of penetration against control, resistance to chloride penetration confirming to ASTM C 1202 with 64% improvement against control & protecting steel re-inforcement against corrosion mixed @ 1% by weight of cementitious content in concrete. ie., integral crystaline waterproofing admix @ 0.5 kg/bag of cement. (For calculation purpose 320 kg of Cement for M-20 grade of Concrete is considered in the analysis)

13. ELECTRICAL WORKS Providing and fixing the following Electrical items, including cost of wall chasing, packing etc.complete a) Supply and installation testing commission of 12 way SPN single door MCB distribution board 40 amps DP MCB as incomer and 6 amps 3 no's and 16 amps 7nos distribution MCBs as outgoing with 240 v on surface or recess mount complete with tinned copper bus bar ,neutral bus bar, earth bus bar, interconnections, powdered coted with double earthing terminals. - 1 Number b) Wiring for light point/ fan point/ exhaust fan point/ call bell point with 1.5 sq.mm FRLS PVC insulated copper conductor single core cable in surface / recessed PVC conduit, with modular switch ( To be Approved by CeNSE), modular plate, suitable GI box and earthing the point with 1.5 sq.mm FRLS PVC insulated copper conductor single core cable etc. - As Required. c) Wiring for light point/ fan point/ exhaust fan point/ call bell point with 1.5 sq.mm FRLS PVC insulated copper conductor single core cable in surface / recessed PVC conduit, with modular switch ( To be Approved by CeNSE), modular plate, suitable GI box and earthing the point with 1.5 sq.mm FRLS PVC insulated copper conductor single core cable etc. - As Required. d) 1.7.1 2 X 1.5 sq. mm + 1 X 1.5 sq. mm earth wire for lighting -- As Required. e) 2 X 2.5 sq. mm + 1 X 2.5 sq. mm earth wire for circuit main- - As Required . f) 4 X 4 sq. mm + 2 X 4 sq. mm earth wire for Power circuits -- As Required g) Supply and fixing of following sizes of PVC conduit along with the accessories in surface/recess including cutting the wall and making good the same in case of recessed conduit as required. 20 mm dia for lighting circuits -As Required h) Supplying And Fixing Metal Fan Box with Round Hook 6 Nos / Floor i) 25 mm dia for 2.5mm for power circuits and circuits main-As Required j) 6/16 amps Power sockets - 6 Nos k) 20 amps power socket - 10 Nos l) 4c x 16 sq mm FRLS copper armored cable -As Required

Supply and fixing of following sizes of Havey duty Exhaust fan with Louver suitable for operation on single phase 230 Volt AC 50 Hz supply complete with all fixing accessories as required. a) 450 mm Sweep (900 RPM)

14. MISCELLENEOUS WORKS KSR (Vol.II)19.3 : Demolishing R.C.C. work manually/ by mechanical means including stacking of steel bars and disposal of unserviceable material to the appropriate disposal area as per direction of Engineer-in- harge.

KSR (Vol.II)19.7.1 :Demolishing brick work manually/ by mechanical means including stacking of serviceable material and disposal of unserviceable material to the appropriate disposal area as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.

KSR (Vol.II) 20.1: Making the opening in brick masonry for door / window / clerestory window including dismantling in floor or walls by cutting masonry and making good the damages to walls, flooring and jambs complete, to match existing surface i/c disposal of mulba/ rubbish to the nearest municipal dumping ground, all complete as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing, Laying and fixing of following dia RCC Hume Pipe of NP2 class- 200mm dia in ground complete with RCC collars, jointing with cement mortar 1:2 (1 cement : 2 fine sand) including trenching (75 cm deep or more) & refilling etc. as required for cable laying etc. at the road crossing or wherever necessary as per site condition. Cost to include RCC collar and necessary civil works as required.

Providing. and fixing on terrace - 2000 lts capacity Triple Layer polyethylene water storage tank ISI : 12701 marked with cover and suitable locking arrangement and making necessary holes for inlet, outlet and overflow pipes but with fittings and the solid base support (Bed) for tank

15. INTERNAL & EXTERNAL WATER SUPPLY SYSTEM Supplying, installing, fixing, jointing, testing and commissioning of approved make Chlorinated Polyvinyl Chloride pipes (CPVC) up to 50 mm dia shall be SDR . 11 with ASTM CTS fittings, and above 50 mm dia shall be CPVC schedule 40 ASTM IPS with SCHD 80 ASTM F 439 fittings .
