A - Site Clearance Uprooting rank vegetation and weeds by digging the area to a depth of 60 cm , removing all weeds and other growth with roots by forking including disposal of all rubbish with all leads and lifts. (Based on CPWD DSR 2013, Item no 23.12)

Cleareance of debris around and adjoining the heritage building by excavion upto depth 1.5mt to 2.0 mtr carefully without damaging the buried archaeological parts of the building and collect all the intct parts at proper place for reuse at the time of restoration work as per direction of engineer in charge. (Analysis as per INTACH SOR (Schedule of rates) for building and conservation works january 2016, item code 1.1)

B - Dismantling Works Demolishing lime concrete manually/by mechanical means and disposal of material within 50 meters lead as per direction of engineer in charge. (Based on CPWD DSR 2019 , item no 15.1)

Dismantling stone slab (damage and decayed) laid in lime/cement mortar including stacking of serviceable material and disposal of unserviceable material within 50 meters lead. (Analysis as per INTACH SOR (Schedule of rates) for building and conservation works january 2016, item code 12.4)

Dismentling stone slab roofing (or Lakhori brick ) over wooden carries, including stacking of serviceable material and disposal of unserviceable material within 50 metres lead. (Based on CPWD DSR 2019 , item no 15.29) This job is highly risky, hence safety precautions need to be taken before execution of this item by duty constructing heavy duty scaffolding & form work to prevent collapsing of adjoining structures wherever necessary and requires execution under the supervision of a site inchrage so that historical evidences must not be destroyed falsified or removed.

C - Roofing Works Providing roofing works with lakhori brick masonry/brick tiles and lime concreting laying them in lime mortar over wooden carries as per existing thickness and design/matching with original complete. a) Traditional brick masonry in lakhori bricks in lime mortar ( similor to existing propotionof mortar 1:1:1 , 1 lime : 1 surkhi : sand ) (Analysis as per INTACH SOR (Schedule of rates) for building and conservation works january 2016, item code 5.1)

b) Providing and laying lime concrete with broken brick aggregate and 50% lime mortar 1:1:1 (1 Lime: 1 Slaked Lime 1: Coarse sand) rammed and finished with gur and belgiri treatment ( thickness 100 mm). (Analysis as per INTACH SOR for (Schedule of rates) building and conservation works january 2016, item code 4.5. )

c) Providing and laying lime concrete with graded brick bats and 50% lime mortar 1:1:1 (1 Slaked lime : 1 Surkhi : 1 Coarse sand) rammed and finished with gur and belgiri treatment excluding cost of centring and shuttering. (Thickness 100 mm) (Analysis as per INTACH SOR for (Schedule of rates) building and conservation works january 2016, item code 4.4.)

d) Providing wooden beams in sal wood in roofs including making good the holes in walls and painting with all type wood presetive of approved brand and manufacture complete. (Based on CPWD DSR 1972 item no 18)

D - Flooring works Technical/scientific excavation to be done manually (trench depth upto 6 mtr) by way of carefully digging all along of the heritage structure. It also includes to avoid any damage to the heritage structure or structure underneath, without causing any vibrations and jerks to the superstructure. It also includes duly constructing centring, struting & form work to avoid any untoward incident and getting out the excavated material manually head lead approx. 50 mtr away from site. (Analysis already approved by DG ASI as per file no 39-08/2017- conservation dated 16.11.2017)

Providing and laying lime concrete with graded brick bats and 50% lime mortar 1:1:1 (1 Slaked lime : 1 Surkhi : 1 Coarse sand) rammed and finished with gur and belgiri treatment excluding cost of centring and shuttering. (Thickness 100 mm) (Analysis as per INTACH SOR for (Schedule of rates) building and conservation works january 2016, item code 4.4.)

40 mm thick fine dressed stone flooring over 20 mm (average) thick base of lime mortar 1:1:1 (1 lime: 1 surkhi:1coarse sand) with joints finished flush. (Analysis as per INTACH SOR for building and conservation works january 2016, item code 7.7)

Providing and fixing Marble/stone matching with existing gang saw cut (polished and machine cut) of avg thickness 18 mm or as per existing for wall lining (veener work), backing filled with a grout of average 20 mm thick in lime mortar of 1:1:1 (1 lime: 1 surkhi:1coarse sand), including pointing with lime mortar 1:2 ( 1 Lime: 2 marble dust) with an admixture of pigment to match the marble shade ( to be secured to the backing by means of cramps, which shall be paid for separately) (Analysis as per INTACH SOR (Schedule of rates) for building and conservation works january 2016, item code 10.6)

Restoration of Fountain: Veneer Stone work ,average 60-70 mm thick (wall lining) matching with existing stone, backing filled with a grout of average 12 mm thick lime mortar 1:1:1 ( 1 Lime: 1 Surkhi 1: Coarse sand) including pointing in lime mortar 1:1:1 ( 1 Lime: 1 Surkhi 1: Coarse sand) with an admixture of pigment matching to the stone shade ( to be secured to the backing and the sides by menas of cramps and pins which shall be paid for separately). (HSR 7.23)

Providing and fixing stainless steel cramps of required size and shape for anchoring stone wall lining to the backing or securing adjacent stones in stone wall lining in cement mortar 1:1:1 (1 Lime: ! Surkhi 1: Coarse sand ) including making the necessary chases in stone and holes in walls wherever required. (Based on CPWD DSR 2012, Item no 7.25)

Providing and fixing copper pins 7.5 cm long 6 mm diameter for securing adjaent stones in stone wall lining in lime mortar 1:1:1 (1 Lime: 1 Surkhi 1: Coarse sand ) including making the necessary chases. (Based on CPWD DSR 2012, Item no 7.27)

E - Masonry works Reconsolidation works Stone consolidation‐removing the loose/damaged stone and reconsolidating with new stone (matching with original)/reusable stone with lime mortar(1:2) wherever necessary. (Analysis as per INTACH SOR (Schedule of rates) for building and conservation works january 2016, item code 6.11)

Restoration of missing portion/patch repair with underpinning method by using bond stone techinque Earth work in surface excavatio not exceeding 30 cm in depth but exceeding 1.5 m in width as well as 10 sqm on plan including getting out and disposal of excavated earth upto 50 m and lift upto 1.5 m, as directed by Engineer in charge. (Based on CPWD DSR 2019 , item no 2.1.1)

Random rubble masonry with hard stones in foundation and plinth including levelling with lime concete (1 lime:3surkhi:6 coarse sand) with 20mm stone aggregate upto plinth level with lime mortar 1:1:1(1Lime: 1Surkhi:1Coarse sand). (Analysis as per INTACH SOR (Schedule of rates) for building and conservation works january 2016, item code 6.1)

F - Plaster Works 30‐40mm lime plaster in two coats with 20mm base coat in lime mortar 1:1:1 (1 lime : 1 Surkhi :1 Coarse Sand) and top coat in lime mortar 1:1:1 (1 lime : 1 Surkhi :1 Fine Sand). (Analysis as per INTACH SOR (Schedule of rates) for building and conservation works january 2016, item code 9.5)

Repairing ornamental plaster works to match with the existing design using lime plaster (1lime putty:1surkhi : 1 fine sand) (Analysis as per INTACH SOR (Schedule of rates) for building and conservation works january 2016, item code 9.10)

G - Miscellaneous Works Construction of tanks of different sizes for slaking of lime and making lime putty as per archaelogical specification. Brick Work with common burnt clay F.P.S (non modular ) bricks of class designation 7.5 in foundation and plinth in: Cement mortar 1:4 ( 1 cement : 4 coarse sand)

Provision for hiring (for 6 months) of special type of lime mortar mill (pan type) electrical/mechnical for thorough grinding & mixing of lime mortar and making lime putty as per site requirement including diesel & maintenance. (NS)

Providing, erecting, maintaining and removing temporary protective screens made out of specified fabric with all necessary fixing arrangement to ensure that it remains in position for the work duration as required by the Engineer-in-charge. (As per CPWD DSR- 2019, Item no 26.36)

Removal of blackening, old sulphated lime wash in multiple application without causing damage to the below plastered surface. Scrubbing (not by scraping which leaves surfaces scarred and scratched ) with bristle brushes and hot water ( Care to be taken if the surface is weak one it will break down). Hot water should be used if the blackening/limewash has an oil or tallow binder. Gentle cleaning with air abrasive tools can be used if the wall surface is not very week.The final clean will almost invariably have to be carried out by hand scrubbing and rinsed with clean water on completion. The work should be done under supervision of a trained conservator. (Analysis as per INTACH SOR for building and conservation works january 2016, item code2.1)

Architectural drawings including plans, sections and elevations. Hiring for architect for detail documentation of site, showing condition mapping, material extent drawing, conservation drawings as required in conservation work and a per archaeological conservation norms. i) Senior Architect

Providing and fixing double scaffolding system (cup lock type) on the exterior side, up to seven storey height made with 40 mm dia M.S. tube 1.5 m centre to centre horizontal and vertical tubes joining with cup and lock system with M.S. tubes, M.S. tube challies, M.S. clamps and M.S. staircase system in the scaffoldings for working platform etc. and maintaining it in a serviceable condition for the required duration as approved and removing it thereafter. The scaffolding system shall be stiffened with bracings, runners, connection with the building etc. wherever required for inspection of work at required locations with essential safety features for the workmen etc complete as per directions and approval of Engineer-in-charge. The elevational area of the scaffolding shall be measured for payment purpose. The payment will be made once irrespective of duration of scaffolding. NOTE:- To be used for maintenance work judicially necessary deduction for scaffolding in the existing item to be done (As per CPWD DSR- 2019, Item no 14.72)

Providing and fixing stone jali 40 mm thick throughtout in lime mortar of 1:1:1 (1 lime: 1 surkhi:1coarse sand), including pointing in lime mortar 1: 2 ( 1 Lime : 2 Stone dust) with an admixture of pigment, matching the stone shade, jali slab without any chamfared etc. (Analysis as per INTACH SOR (Schedule of rates) for building and conservation works january 2016, item code 10.16.2)

Hiring of water tanker (4500 ltrs) during excution of work. Since the water is salty at site and its not useful for lime mortar work. (As per DM Mahendragarh, Narnaul rate dated 07.04.2020.) Material cost are as per prevailing market rate specially used for restoration & conservation work of heritage buildings as per different site conditions and requirements and Labour rates are as per DM Mahendragarh, Narnaul.
