Execution of work under CDW to Providing Pointing to the Fortification Wall adjacent to the Hatthigate at Shivneri Fort, Junnar, Dist-Pune. As specified in the BOQ.

Description of works

Earth work excavation for foundation in hard strata including removal of excavated materials and disposing the same up to a distance of 50 mtr. and preparing the bed for laying fresh lime concrete for foundation etc. Complete as directed by site incharge.

Providing and laying un- slaked lime concrete 1:2:4 with 20mm brick bats jelly, consolidating the admixture by adding jaggery, hirda fruit, dinka (gum) and potable water including laying, compaction, form work, curing as well as erecting and removal of appropriate scaffolding for execution etc. Complete as directed by site incharge.

Provision for restoration of fallen random rubble stone fortification wall as per original with available stone salvaged from nearby debris in traditional lime mortar 1:1:1 without natural ingredient including necessary dressing of stone during execution, carrying, lifting, placing in position with the help of scaffolding and lifting equipment’s curing etc. Complete as directed by site incharge.

Providing pointing to the fortification wall and bastion by using traditional lime mortar 1:1:1, consolidating the admixture by adding surkhi, jaggery, hirda fruit, Gum, Bel fruit, Methi, Black dal, White Kattha and potable water including racking out joints and finishing suitable to give recess joints curing etc. Complete as directed by site incharge.

Providing and fixing half round two line dressed stone coping with available stone salvaged from nearby debris and towards the valley side of size o.45x0.30x0.25 Mtr. thickness in ancient pattern over the wall including lead and lift necessary dressing fixing in position over the un slaked lime mortar1:1:1 without natural ingredient neatly pointed the joints with same mortar curing etc. Complete as directed by site incharge.
