REPAIR TO ROOF TREATMENT IN DOMESTIC AREA IN CERTAIN BLDG AND OTHER CONNECTED WORKS AT AF STN UDHAMPUR

M&L and taking down of existing unserviceable roof treatment materials and PCC / CM / Brick tiles padding etc from top of roof upto slab (complete depth) carefully by cutting chiseling, cleaning the surface by scraping brooming brushing etc and removing the rubbish from site exc. 500m but n exc 5.00 Km (Outside of MoD land) and applying roof treatment with the following specifications:- (a) Rendering 10mm thick in CM 1:3 with water proofing compound on cleaned concrete surfaces of roof and finishing the surfaces fair and even including curing the plastered surfaces for 07 days by ponding of water over the roof (Levelling course). (Note : Water proofing compound shall be paid and measured separtely). (b) Applying evenly first coat cold bitumen primer confirming to IS-3384-1986 @ 0.40 Ltr per square metre on the cleaned plastered surfaces. (c) Applying evenly second coat of blown hot bitumen of grade 85/25 @ 1.20 kg per square metre (confirming to IS-702) on primed surfaces. (d) Applying third coat of APP modified membrane 3mm thick (minimum) and weight 3.60 Kg per square metre (reinforced) with polyster non woven fabric weighing not less than 150 gms per square metre by torch application. The overlap shall not be less than 100mm on the transverse direction and 75mm on longitudinal direction respectively and sealing overlaps. Notes :- (i) Payment against this item shall not be allowed till completion of all the stages of work for any slab. (ii) The work shall be executed through well-trained applicators as per manufacturer's instructions after obtaining written approval from the GE. (iii) Make of Bitumen : HPCL, IOCL, BPCL (iv) Make of APP Membrane : M/s Sika India Pvt Ltd, M/s STP limited, M/s IWL India Ltd, M/s Asian Paints Ltd. (iv) Torchtar Brand APP Membrane , flashing tapes & wraping coat.

M & L for Cement concrete tiles 25cm x 25cm x 22mm thick, machine pressed; set jointed and pointed in neat cement slurry with mixture of grey cement and no pigments as in floors, and cut and polished over a screed bed 15mm thk in CM 1:4 including Keyed pointing to cement concrete tile in CM (1:3) complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Dismantling plain or corrugated steel sheets, asbestos cement (corrugated, semi corrugated) etc sheets and any type or any description of roof covering, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Taking down cement plaster on brick or stone walls etc including raking out joints, hacking for key, scrubbing down with water, etc complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Dismantling Wrought Iron or Mild Steel Work, viz. MS Flat Iron (Wind Tie) and Similar Work including MS Bolts, Nuts, etc., and keep in Safe Custody for re-use, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Taking down eaves gutters and rain water pipes(any size or pattern), including all fittings, heads, shoes, bends, swan necks, etc including cleaning or refixing or removal to store complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Taking up or down steel water tubing with connections,15 mm bore including cleaning for refixing complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Taking up or down steel tubing with connections,20 mm bore including cleaning for refixing complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Taking up or down steel tubing with connections,25 mm bore including cleaning for refixing complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Disconnecting existing tanks having capacity exc 250 ltrs and not exc 500 ltrs, setting aside (or lowering if required) for repairs, cleaning, etc. and hoisting if required reconnecting and re-fixing in position incl repairing Cleaning and removing all scale and dirt, etc, from tanks and from mouths of circulating pipes, etc. etc. complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

All as per item No 10 above but exc 500Ltr capacity and not exceeding 1000Ltr capacity complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge..

Dismantling water tanks having capacity exc 250 ltrs and not exc 500 ltrs and removing to store complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

All as per item No 12 above but exc 500Ltr capacity and not exceeding 1000Ltr capacity complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Demolition of brick work or stone/boulder masonary of any description in cement mortor complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply only integral water proofing compound of approved quality and make confirming to IS complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge..

S&F Pre-painted galvalume aluminium zine coating GI based corrugated steel sheet 0.50mm thick of any colour having tensile strenght of 550mm as in roof covering/cladding to wall, fixed wish self tapping screws complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

S& F 0.80 mm plain galvnized MS steel sheeting in ridges, hips ,valley gutters etc fixed with coach screw and washer in roofs, walls etc with 275 grade of zinc coating complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

S&F for steel water tubing of nominal bore 15 mm medium grade galvanised with all fittings including short lengths, fixed to walls, concealed in wall and ceiling or laid in floor complete with all fittings (such as bends, elbows, Tee, short pieces, connectors, back nuts, diminishing pieces, caps and plugs, unions etc.) complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for steel water tubing of nominal bore 20 mm, medium grade galvanised with all fittings including short lengths, laid in trenches complete with all fittings (such as bends, elbows, Tee, short pieces, connectors, back nuts, diminishing pieces, caps and plugs, unions etc.) complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for steel water tubing of nominal bore 25 mm, medium grade galvanised with all fittings including short lengths, laid in trenches complete with all fittings (such as bends, elbows, Tee, short pieces, connectors, back nuts, diminishing pieces, caps and plugs, unions etc.) complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

S&F Rotational moulded polyethylene water storage tanks double layer Cap 500 ltrs hoisted and fixed in position complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

All as per item No 23 above but 1000Ltr capacity complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge..

S&F in repairs 20mm Ball brass valves,high pressure,with polythene float and flynut ,screwed for iron pipe or brass ferrule complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

S&F in repair 110mm dia PVC (SWR) bends in any description complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

S&F in repair PVC (SWR) pipes 110mm single socketed in any length with rubber ring jointed fixed to walls complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L brick work with sub class B bricks straight or curved on plan exc 6m mean radius in CM 1:6 complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L rendering 15mm thick on fair faces of brick work or concrete surfaces in cement mortar 1:6 finished with even and smooth w/o using extra cement complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for applying two coats of Acrylic Exterior emulsion paint over a coat of primer on camouflage pattern on newly plastered wall surface including preparation of surface complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for providing, cement concrete 1:2:4, type B-0 using 12.5 mm graded stone aggregate as in roof kerbs or mud stops, rounded or chamfered on edges complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for roof trusses (framed) purlins, crane gantries, rails and fastenings and heavy bracket framing (Beam, tee, angle, channel or flat sections) including distance pieces, cleats etc Fe-410W (Gde E-250) quality A incl one shop coat of zinc chromate primer paint incl preparation of surfaces at contractor's workshop before fabrication complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Preparation of new steel surface of any description not otherwise described for, over 10cm width or girth and applyimg two coats of synthetic Enamel paint, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
