(a) Soil investigation at the site of SMQs at AF Stn Jaipur (Demolition and Reconstruction of certain SMQs at 759 SU at AF Stn Jaipur) To evaluate sub grade strength and soil properties through bore holes shall be done on on the site of SMQ area as per sketch (as enclosed) and directed. Graphical boring log shall be developed for each bore hole summarizes the result of soil explorates. The Graphical log shall include location date of performed type of exploration, surface elevation, depth of material, samples identification numbers as shown in figure I (i.e. typical boring log enclosed). Sample shall be collected of the depth of every 1.00 mtr or soil strata change upto 20.00 mtr to establish soil profile for foundation of multistory SMQ blocks. (A) Drilling exploratory bore holes of 100/150mm dia in any type of strata soil upto a minimum depth of 20.00 m and conducting the :- (i) Exploration of soil upto 20m even if hard rock is encountered to find following properties of each strata for assesment of pile load capacity (for y,e,Φ etc). (ii) Assessment of:- (aa) SBC for isolated footing at 1.5m, 2.0m, 2.50m depth for 1.5x1.5m, 2.5x2.5m and 3.5x3.5m size for. (ab) SBC for Raft Foundation at 1.5m, 2.0m,2.5m, depth for 12mx12m of bigger. (iii) Pile load capacity of size 300,500 and 600mm dia and 20m deep as indivisual and in group (specifying c/c distance in configuration so as not to reduce capacity in group or with efficiency. (iv) Swelling / Expansive soil and its extent. (v) Conducting standard penetration test (SPT) at 2.00, 5.00, 10.00 , 15.0 & 20 m (vii) Conducting following properties / tests (viii) (aa) Soil classification as per IS 1498-1970 & Particle size analysis (ab) Liquid limit, Plastic Limit and Plastic index as per IS 2720 (Part V) (ac) Depth of water tables (ad) Max. Dry density using heavy compaction as per IS 2720 (Part V) (ae) In situ soil density as per IS 1720 Part XXIX (af) Standard penetration test as per IS2131-1981 (ix) Supplementary test :- (aa) Free swell index as per IS 2720XL and as per IS 2720XL (ab) Permeability test soil as per IS 2720 (Part 36) 1987 and as per IS 2720 Part 13 (ac) Organic Material in soils Method as per IS 2720 Part XXII 1972 (x) Soil Exploration upto 20 mtr depth. (xi) Particle size analysis of soil as per IS 2720 (Part-IV) 1975. Preparation and submission of the sub soil investigation report in quadruplicate
