Note for Item No 1 to 4 : Excavation/earthwork wherever required shall be measured and paid for under item number 1.00 to 4.00, unless otherwise indicated in the description of the item. Excavating in trenches not exceeding 1.5 metre wide and not exceeding 1.5 metre in depth and getting out in hard/dense soil all as specified and directed.

Excavating in trenches not exceeding 1.5 metre wide, exceeding 1.50 m but not exceeding 3.00 metre in depth and getting out in hard/dense soil all as specified and directed. Note for Item No 1 & 2 : Entire excavation shall be carried out manually only and not through excavator/JCB to avoid damage of existing electric supply/water supply/signal assets. This aspect may be noted while quoting the bid.

Returning filling in including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm all as specified and directed.

Removing of excavated materials soil n.exc 50m and depositing where directed at a level not exc 1.50m above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for sand cushioning with a layer of fine sand 8 cm thick before laying of cable and 15 cm thick after laying of cable in trenches for cable protection complete all as specified. Note: Measurement shall be taken only after punning down sand cushioning.

Supply and laying un-reinforced precast PCC cable Cover, class EHV, ISI marked, type- I with peak, size 600mm x 230mm x 50mm for covering cables laid dry flat as cable protection on sand all as specified.

Supply and laying un-reinforced precast PCC cable Cover, class HV, ISI marked, type- I with peak, size 300mm x 180mm x 40mm for covering cables laid dry flat as cable protection on sand all as specified.

Supplying and fixing steel tubular swaged pole with cast iron base plate finial taper plug, bolts, nuts and screws and specified type 410-SP-55 ( 11 metres long) in truely vertical position, 1.5 m length of pole above ground level shall be painted with two coats of synthetic enamel paint in strips of 30 cm width, black and yellow alternatively and painting with two coats of aluminum paint over a coat of red oxide primer on rest part of pole and its connected parts including preparation of surface and marking of pole number with black paint in yellow circle, complete all as specified and directed. (Note:- Necessary earth work, PCC coping will be measured and paid for separately under respective items)

Supplying and fixing steel tubular swaged poles complete with cast iron base plate, finial taper plug, bolts, nuts, screws as specified type 410-SP-31 (9.0 metres long) and shifting of conductors and insulators etc including painting the exposed portion of the pole with two coats of aluminium paint over a coat of red oxide primer and interally through out plus embedded portion with two coats of black bituminous paint over a coat of red oxide primer including marking of pole number with black paint in yellow circle complete all as specified and directed. (Note:- Necessary earth work, PCC coping will be measured and paid for separately under respective items.)

Supplying and fixing HT/LT MS cable route indicator, engraved the descrption on the disc not less than 6" dia and 6mm thick welded with 40 x 6 mm MS Strip of approximate length 90 cm duly painted on all steel parts as per colour code and provision of PCC 1:4:8, type D-2 (using 40 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) of not less than 0.05 cum in each at base buried under the ground including necessary earth work complete all as apecified and directed.

Excavation in trenches by cutting of road crossing/PCC hard standing, under boundary wall for laying of pipe/cable including making good the existing surface with same finish (PCC / Bitumen) to match the original finish all as specified and as directed at site.
