RequiredThe intending bidder should have achieved in the last 5 years i.e from 2021-22 to 2025-26, minimum financial turnover in all Classes of Civil Engineering Works usually not less than amount put to tender in at least two financial years for other works & a minimum financial turnover of not less than the amount put to tender for at least one financial year For SC or ST or CAT-I or CAT-II A reserved works. The Annual Turnover certificate with UDIN from chartered accountant to be uploaded.

Eligibility Criteria

Tenders from Joint ventures are not acceptable.

Bidders shall not be under a declaration of ineligibility for corrupt and fraudulent practices issued by Government of Karnataka

Bidders shall ensure upload of relevant document certifying his/her status as Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe/other reserved category as prescribed in the tender document.

It shall be the responsibility of the Bidder to ensure credit of Tender Processing Fee and EMD into the respective receiving bank accounts of e-Procurement on or before the last date and time of bid submission.

EMD Payments through e-Payment mode shall be made as one single transaction and payments made in part are liable for rejection.

The intending bidders are advised to visit the site of work before submitting their tenders.

The contractor / authorized signatory should attach his / her scanned signature to the Schedule-B before uploading the document

If any of the dates mentioned above happened to be a general holiday, the next working day holds good for the process

Conditional tenders are liable to be rejected. The officer competent to accept the tender shall have the right to reject any or all the tenders without assigning any reason whatsoever.

Corrigendum will be published only in the web site for all modifications/ corrections if any.

The intending bidders should note that, if any of the lands either in part / parts or in whole required for the works is not acquired by the CADA. Hence it is the responsibility of the bidder to take possession of such land and start the work on his own risk and cost.

Contractor should abide by the directions of Government towards recovery of 1% (or as modification by Government from time to time) chess from the contractor bill under the provision of building and construction works (welfare chess vide act-1996).

The validity period of EMD shall be for a minimum period of 180 days from the date of opening of tenders

Successful bidders should execute the agreement within 20 days from the date of acceptance of the tender. If the contractor fails to enter into the agreement within the said period, the EMD of the contractor shall be forfeited and action shall be initiated for banning to participate in the further tendering of Krishna-CADA, Bheemarayanagudi.

The contractor / authorized signatory should attach his / her scanned signature on Letter pad.

The amounts are excluding GST but inclusive of all other charges

The increase in GST shall not be paid in the extended period of contract for which the contractor alone is responsible for delay as determined by the authority while granting the extension of time.

The Tenderer has to quote his rate by excluding GST. However contract will be concluded for the AMOUNT (Exclusive of GST) but Applicable GST will be paid extra prevailing at the time of execution. If the GST rates are revised during the contract period, the Tenderer/Employer has to accept the revised GST rates for making payment/recovery

The contractors are bound to abide by the statutory and mandatory Rules and Regulations, mentioned in latest circulars of Mines and Geology Department, for minerals required execute the

The Work Done Certificates shall be issued by the Executive Engineer (if work done in Karnataka State) otherwise it shall be issued/ counter signed by Superintending Engineer (if work is done in other states)

As per the Karnataka building and other construction workers welfare cess act 1996 1 % of the bill amount will be deducted from the bill.

The Defects liability period is 1 years. The contractor is liable to rectify the defects in the work done up to a period of 1 Year from the date of completion of the work at his cost.

All materials like steel, cement etc., required for the above work should be procured by the contractor only at his own cost. And these materials will have to be got tested by the competent authority before put to use and certificate shall be submitted

The intending contractors should note that, as the tender invited is on percentage basis, if the bid amount based on the percentage quoted by the contractor is less than the amount put to tender, the contractor shall submit the additional performance security amount equal to the difference between the amount put to tender and quoted amount through Nationalized Bank Demand Draft (DD)/FDR in favour of The Executive Engineer, KBJNL,FIC,DIVISION.NO-3 ALMATTI ,TQ-NIDAGUNDI. DIST- VIJAYAPURAA, at the time of agreement.

Contractors participating in this tendering process/who intent to submit their bids/bid should produce to this office all the Documents in Original at time of opening of Technical Bid(scanned copy of which they should upload) in e-portal.

During the time of technical evaluation, if the employer finds that any certificates / information furnished is false and fake, such bids will be disqualified and EMD shall be forfeited, barred from the Participation of tendering process.

If any bidder fails to satisfy the conditions, such bids shall be liable for rejection.
