Scarifying or picking gravelled, macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces in area exceeding 400 sqm, exceeding 50mm but not exceeding 100mm deep including removing the materials to a distance not exceeding 50 metre and stacking, complete all as specified and directed.

150mm thick (Compacted thickness) WBM in two layer of 75mm each with coarse aggregates of grading 2 (63 to 40mm size) or of grading 3 (50 to 20mm size) of granite, trap or basalt spreading and compaction with 8 to 12 tonne power roller and consolidated to required gradient and camber complete all as specified and directed.

Description all as srl item No 2 above but with serviceable aggregate obtained from Serial Item No 1.00 here in before, spread, rolled and consolidated to gradient and camber required, complete all as specified and as directed by the Engr-in-Charge.

Repair to pot holes any depth, not exc 1 sqm each including sweeping free from dirt and mud of water sunken surface in roads, paths etc. cutting around edges to at least 25mm in depth making good by filling in screened and graded material/ road metal, watering and well raming (including supply of road metal) complete, all as specified and as directed by the Engr-in-Charge.

Premix bituminous macadam with 4% paving using bitumen VG-30 paving grade ( 50 -70 penetration) bitumen binder, laid/rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber (consolidated thickness upto maximum 75mm), complete, all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Preparing existing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc., sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with compressed air to remove all loose dirt etc., and applying evenly a tack coat on existing black top surfaces with cationic bitumen emulsion RS-1 grade conforming to IS:8887 @ 2.5 Kg per Ten Square Metre and including Bituminous premix asphaltic semi dense concrete 30mm consolidated thickness with 5.5% paving bitumen using bitumen VG-30 paving grade ( 50 -70 penetration) binder content by weight of total mix rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient, complete, all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Preparing un-surfaced water bound macadam surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc., sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with compressed air to remove all loose dirt etc., and applying evenly a prime coat on prepared surfaces with cationic bitumen emulsion SS-1 grade conforming to IS:8887 @ 7.5 Kg per Ten Square Metre and including Bituminous premix asphaltic semi dense concrete 30mm consolidated thickness with 5.5% paving bitumen using bitumen VG-30 paving grade ( 50 -70 penetration) binder content by weight of total mix rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient, complete, all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. -in-Charge.

Note for item No. 5 to 7 : (a) Preparation of mix in hot mix plant, spreading by self propelling mechanical paver and rolling and compaction by set of rollers as specified in particular specifications shall be carried out. Hot mix plant may be installed at any distance but the contractor shall be responsible for maintaining the required temperature of mix under all conditions till it is laid and compacted. Unit rate against these items shall include for carrying out the works with deployment of these machinery for which nothing extra shall be payable and no delay in completion of work shall be acceptable on this account. (b) To achieve marshal stability of 1050 KN and all as per SSR Part-I Clause No. 20.B.4. (c) If qty of binder contents is less than the qty as specified in respective items of BOQ, it shall be adjusted at supply only rates of paving bitumen @ Rs 34.00 Per Kg and if qty of binder contents is more than the qty as specified in respective items of BOQ no adjustment shall be made.

Continuous brick edging, with width equal to the width of the brick, laid dry on end vertically with burnt clay bricks of sub class 'B' bricks, complete all as specified and directed.

Delineators of size 172 mm x 326mm x 67mm, made of ABS plastic fitted with two nos. 100 mm dia & two Nos, 70mmx23mm highly reflective reflectors made of PMMA on both sides of the post and mounted on mild steel pipe of 50 mm duly powder coated height 1000mm, anti rust etc including fixed in PCC block (size 30x30x30 cm) of PCC 1:2:4 Type B-I, including taking down old delineators, complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge. Make : Cat Part No. DA- 952 GP ABS of make Dark eye or equivalent in performance of make specified in PS. Note : Cost of PCC and earth work is deemed to be included in unit cost.

Solar road studs made of aluminium alloy and polycarbonate size 125 x 125 x 25 mm, 6 LED with stem , self illuminating in dim areas during night time, solar rechargeable batteries for continual performance without much maintenance , super bright LED with a viewing distance of 500 metres, equipped with prismatic, reflective lens on each side to ensure maximum reflectivity made up of highly compressive material to sustain over 10 tonnes load, water resistant fixed in repairs, complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge. Make : Cat Part No. DA-110 of make Dark eye or equivalent in performance of makes as specified in particular specifications

All direction retro reflective round delinator made of 47 mm dia MS pipe powder coated with iron jali 60 cm long and three coloured reflective tape strips of size 40 mm width including fixed in PCC block (size 30x30x30 cm) of PCC 1:2:4 Type B-I as in repairs complete, all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge Make : Road Star/Dark Eye/YASH or equivalent as specified in Particular Specification. Note : Cost of PCC and earth work is deemed to be included in unit cost.

Cat eye of size 100 mm x 100mmx18.5mm made of ABS material two reflectors fitted in the body, weight of cat eye 130 gm approx, designed for dynamic loads, fixed in repairs, complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge. Make : Cat part No DA-978(B) of make Dark eye or equivalent in performance of make Greenlite/Yash/Gunnebo/makes specified in PS.

Speed bump of size 750 x 250mm & height 75mm (yellow / black colour) made of ABS material with two highly reflective reflectors molded in PMMA material are welded with ABS plates through Ultrasonic welding process, and the speed breaker shall be installed by the process as per standard manufacturer's instructions including taking out old speed breakers, complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge. Make : Dark Eye Cat part No - DA 1006 or equivalent as specified in Particular Specification.

Convex mirror of 1000mm dia, made of polycorbonate material provided with 50mm mild steel medium grade pipe of 2.5m high, duly powder coated fixed on ground with PCC as per site requiremet, complete including taking down old unserviceable convex mirror all as specified as directed by Engr-in-Charge. Make : Greenlite/Darkeye/Safari/Suraksha/Kohinoor or equivalent of makes mentioned in PS.

Preparation of any type of road surfaces by scratching old spots, paints, trading oils greasy spots etc. marking paints as making strip straight line, zebra crossing and stop lines not less than 2 mm thick with hot applied thermo plastic road marking paint of approved brand white/yellow colour of width upto 150mm incuding dashes, arrow and letters, conforming to Ministry of surface Transaport (MORTH) specification for the road and bridge work : 3rd revision, over primer as per manufacturers instructions including glass beads (intermix) type I (most/BS6008A) and provision contained in IRC-35-1997 by using automatic mechanical road making machine complete all as specified and directed by GE/Engr-in-Charge. Note : Contractor shall have to furnish the detail that quantity minimum used per square meter is 5.00 Kg/Sqm. Make: ASIAN PAINTS/ SHALIMAR/ NEROLAC PAINTS/MARUTI REFLO MARK AND EQUIVALENT.

Painting lines, dashes, arrows, letters, etc. on roads, pavements, kerb stones and the like exceeding 10cm wide with road marking paint, white or golden yellow complete, all as specified and as directed by the Engr-in-Charge.

Machine pressed (factory made) precast plain cement concrete 1:2:4 type B-1(20mm graded crushed stone aggregate), kerb stone & the like of size 300mm x 300mm x 100mm thick or of size as approved by GE, with plain fair faces including chamfers, weathering etc, embedding in position/laid in trenches on edges of roads, including excavation in any type of soil, setting in cement mortar (1:4) returning filling and removal of surplus soil/debris to a distance n.exc. 50m from the starting point, complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of cement concrete (unreinforced) in ground floor and in any description and in any position not otherwise specifically provided for , complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Plain cement concrete 1:3:6 type C-2 using 40mm graded crushed stone aggregates as in sub base for laying floor , mass concrete finish even & fair, complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Plain cement concrete 1:2:4, type B-1 (using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregates) as in copings etc. and in similar works including weathering, slightly rounded or chamfered angles and throating and necessary form works, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in Charge.

Heavy duty (Durastone) tile of size 300x300x10mm (for external application) 10 mm thick Square/rectangular tiles area of each tile not exceeding 0.36 Sqm as in floors set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in coloured cement to match the surface over and including 15 mm thick screed bed or bedding layer in cement mortar 1:4 for laying floor finishes and 25mm thick plain cement concrete 1:2:4, type B-0 (using 12.5 mm graded crushed stone aggregates) as in floor , complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge. Make : Somany (Durastone) or equivalent in performance of makes as specified in particular specifications. Note : Colour of the tiles shall be as approved by GE.

Demolition of cement concrete (unreinforced) in ground floor and in paving not exceeding 15 cm thickness (below or above ground level), complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.
