Excavation in trenches, not exceeding 1.5m wide and not exceeding 1.5m in depth for foundation, for laying of pipe, cable etc or n. exc.10 Sqm on plan and n. exc. 1.5m in depth for shafts, cesspits, manholes, pier holes, etc and getting out in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling in excavated approved soil, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25cm each complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated soil not exceeding 50m and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5m above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

Taking up old unserviceable 200mm bore of cast iron water mains (including all fittings), with spigot and socket ends and lead joints of including burning out joints and recovering lead complete all as specified and directed. (Note:- Excavation and earth work wherever required shall be measured and paid for separately under respective items of BOQ.)

Note:- Excavation and earth work shall be measured and paid separately under respective items of BOQ.

M&L for 150mm bore DI pipes of make as approved by GE with spigot and socket ends suitable for tyton joints, centrifugally cast, class K-7, ISI Marked, in any length coforming to IS: 8329 (2000) as per latest amendments, laid in trenches with & including EPDM rubber gasket (Tyton joint) and testing on completion complete all as specified and directed. Supply, laying and jointing 50mm bore GI pipes, medium grade, laid in trenches with socket joint together with and including all fittings (such as bend, elbow, tees, short pices connector, caps, plug and union etc) by cutting welding etc complete all as specified. Supply and fix gun-metal, globe or gate valves, ISI marked, with iron wheel head, screwed both ends for iron pipe and fixed, for 50 mm bore dia of pipe complete all as specified and as directed .

M&L draining water from OHT up to 50000 gallon capacity reservoirs not exc. 20 Mtr height/staging, and cleaning internal portion of tank (bottom and walls) by means of coir / wire brush etc. and wash the internal portion of tanks by using bleaching powder @ 25 grams per 1000 Ltrs of water after removing sludge and mud etc to a distance not exc 50 mtr including application of two coat of synthetic enamel paint on all steel surfaces such as ladder, railing, inlet & over flow CI pipes and connected sluice valves of the respective OH tanks reservoir etc, writing letters with white paint (date of cleaning and capcity of tank) on black painted surface of tanks and also to provide Water Level Indicator with Alarm on Tank FULL complete all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M &L for Float and Board Type Water Level Indicator for Over Head Tank complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for PCC (1:3:6) Type C1 using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate as in concrete bed to supply pipes including packing under, and haunching against the sides of DI pipes after they are laid and tested for up to 150 mm bore DI pipe complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.
