SPECIAL REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT OF FOUR/ TWO POLE STRUCTURE TO RMUS AND ALLIED WORKS AT HQ EAC (U) UNDER GE (I) (AF) SHILLONG

Supply and laying, connecting, testing, commissioning HT UG cable XLPE Insulated,armoured, electric power cables (heavy duty) 11 KV grade conforming to IS 7098 with aluminium conductor multi-strand of cross-sectional area 120 Sqmm 3 Core laid in trenches / ducts/ inside protection pipe including cable glands, lugs and suitable size of MS saddle clips etc.including taking out old unserviceable cable all as directed by Engr-In-Charge. Note:-(a) Excavation, sand cushioning, bricks, GI Pipe laying, road cutting shall be measured and paid separately.

Taking out cable for repair and after repair laying only HT UG cable XLPE Insulated,armoured, electric power cables (heavy duty) 11 KV grade grade of cross-sectional area 95/120 Sqmm 3 Core laid in trenches / ducts/ inside protection pipe including cable glands, lugs and suitable size of MS saddle clips etc. all as directed by Engr-In-Charge.

Excavating in trenches, not exceeding 1.5 mtr wide and not exceeding 1.5 mtr in depth; for foundation, etc. or for shafts, wells, cesspits, manholes, pier holes, etc. not exceeding 10 sqm on plan and not exceeding 1.5 mtr in depth and getting out soft/loose soil complete all as specified.

Returning filling in soft/loose soil, including, spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc. 25 cm complete all as specified and directed.

Removing of surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50 metre and deposited where directed at a level not exceeding 1.50 metre above the starting point all as specified.

Supply and filling for dry sand in cable protection trenches before and after the cables are laid, for sand cushioning to cables complete all as specified and directed. NOTE : thickness after punning of sand shall be (minimum as specified in SSR) measured and paid in this item.

Supplying and laying un-reinforced precast concrete cable cover, class HVP,type 1 with peak, size 300 mm x 180 mm x 40 mm complete all as specified.

Supply, lay and fix 100 mm bore galvanized iron tubing (light grade) including all fittings and laid in trenches, walls and ceilings or laid in floors complete all as specified and directed. Note: Excavation shall be measured and paid in separate item

Material and labour as in replacement for outdoor type heat shrinkable cable outdoor termination jointing kit for HT 11000 Volts(Earthed) grade cable of 120 sqmm 3 core size complete with jointing material and accessories complete all as directed by Engineer-In-Charge.

Material and labour as in replacement for indoor type Cold shrinkable cable end termination jointing kit for HT 11000 Volts(Earthed) grade cable of 120 sqmm 3 core size complete with jointing material and accessories complete all as directed by Engineer-In-Charge.

Material and labour for cable route indicator metal encraved the volt capacity 11 KV welded with metal angle iron material for direction of cable laying complete all as directed by Engineer-In-Charge. Note: Excavation and foundation work shall be measured and paid separately.

Material and labour for horizontal boring for 100 mm bore GI pipe under road/ pavement/ hard standing at 0.75 mtr to 1.00 mtr depth from top of road level and insert 100 mm light grade GI pipe for laying XLPE UG cable with all necessary fittings and without any damage of road/ pavement/ hard standing surface complete all as specified and directed. Note: (a) Necessary Earthwork shal be measured and paid including this item. (b) GI pipe shall be measured and paid including this item.

Material and labour for PCC 1:3:6 type C1 using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate as in pedestal of poles, platforms of transformers etc including weathering, slightly rounded or chambered angle and throating including use and waste of necessary form work finishing all exposed faces of concrete even and smooth using extra cement complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix as in repair for PVC coated GI chain link fabric fencing made of GI wire of 4 mm PVC coated (after coating the overall dia shall not be less than 5 mm) in required colour and shade per manufacturer instruction with mesh size 50 mm x 50 mm including strengting with 2 mm dia wire or nuts, bolts and washers as required complete all as specified.

Supply and fix framed work such as grills, gratings, etc.. with ends of bars shouldered and/or riveted, or forged into spikes; framed guard bars; barred iron doors; ladders; framed balusters; walk ways; railings; framework of water tanks and similar work conforming to Fe.290.Gde-E-165 complete all as specified.

Material and labour for earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate 60 cm X 60 cm X 6 mm thick buried vertically in ground to depth not less than 2.25 metres deep below ground level, with top edge of earth plate not less than 1.5 m below ground level, connected to galvanized iron strip 32x6mm earth lead by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanized iron or steel besides welding at all joints as shown in drawing and including excavation and earth work, GI pipe light grade 40mm bore for protection of earth wire and connected to continous earth lead on pole/test point, supplying and laying charcoal dust common salt PCC 1:2:4 type B1, chamber and MS angle iron frame 40x40x3mm and RCC cover 40mm thick (1:2:4) type B1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate reinforced with 6mm dia round bars @ 75mm C/C both ways with MS handle 12mm dia, PGI/CI funnel and wire mesh, 20mm dia GI pipe medium grade for watering all as shown in electrical plate No 5 on srl page No 497 of SSR Part I (2009) drawing and connection to earth test point including testing and including dismantling and taking out old earthing complete all as specified and directed. Note : (i) The cost of earth lead /strip and GI pipe for protection of earth lead/strip upto 7.5m is included in the quoted rate. (ii) The cost of excavation, earth work is included in the quoted rate. (iii) If the resistivity of the soil not achieved the required ohmic value as per above. The Contractor shall arranged further grids to achieve necessary ohmic value. No extra payment shall be made for additional grids and for testing of soil for getting the ohmic value.

Dismantling the 4 pole structure complete u/s GOD and connected material complete frame material complete all as specified and directed.
