Construction of Embankment CBR 8% (for new road) at RD Km. 6.180 to 11.100 with approved material obtained from borrow pits, including compensation of earth, with all lifts and leads, transporting to site, spreading, grading to required slope and compacting to meet requirement of table 300-2, as per technical clause 305 of MORT&H specifications (Based on HSR 17.6) Note: In case the quantity of earth work calculated with NSL and finished level found to be less than 205618.00 cum. Then actual quantity (less than 205618.00 cum) will be paid. In case quantity worked out is more than 205618.00 cum, then only 205618.00 cum will be paid. Excess quantity shall be incidental to work and nothing extra will be paid. Further it shall be ensured that atleast 500 mm of sub grade with earth of CBR 8% shall be constructed at each location. Wherever any cutting of existing subgrade is required on this account excavation as well as handling and disposal of earthwork to accommodate minimum 500mm thick subgrade of minimum 8% CBR shall be carried out by the agency at his own cost. The average height of subgrade from existing ground level shall be 3.80m including capilary cutoff of 0.15m. The side slope shall be vertical on canal side and 1 vertical to 2 horizontal on other side. Nothing extra will be paid on this account. Before start of work, L-section shall be got approved from the employer with respect to GTS. However, typical X-section attached at section 5 of DNIT. Note:-No earth work will be allowed to be taken from PWD B&R/ ROW except for surplus earth after approval from Engineer. (HSR 17.6)
Earth work in excavation in all kind of soil by mechanical means Hydraulic excavator in foundation trenches or drains including dressing of sides and ramming of bottoms, lift up to any, including back filling & getting out the excavated soil and disposal of surplus excavated soil as directed by Engineer-in-charge, within any lead. (HSR 4.14.1 + 4.17)
Dismantling stone slab roofing over wooden karries or R.C.C.battens (dismantling karries and battens to be paid for separately), including stacking of serviceable material and disposal of unserviceable material within any lead and also i/c cutting of reinforcement bar manually/mechanically in RCC or RB work as per direction of Engineer-in-charge. Providing and laying 70mm thick dense graded bituminous macadam (DBM) with 100-120 TPH batch type hot mix plant using crushed aggregates of specified grading, premixed with bituminous binder VG 30 @ 4.5% by weight of total mix and filler, transporting the hot mix to work site, laying with a hydrostatic paver finisher with sensor control to the required grade, level and alignment, rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem rollers to achieve the desired compaction complete, as per technical clause No. 505 of MORT&H specifications (HSR.17.30.2) Note: - I If bitumen required is more than 4.50% as per job mix formula no extra payment will be made and extra bitumen required will be considered as incidental to work. II - Before carrying out bituminous work, coating & stripping of bitumen aggregate mix is to be performed in accordance with IS – 6241. If coating and stripping of bitumen aggregate mix is less than 95%, anti-stripping agent will be used by contractor. The anti – stripping agent should conform to the requirement as stipulated in IS 14982:2017. The cost so incurred will be considered as incidental to work and nothing extra shall be payable. The type and brand of anti-stripping agent along with procedure shall be approved by SE-in-charge in writing before start of work. A proper record of results be maintained and same shall be submitted along with bills by the contractor.
Providing and laying 40mm thick bituminous concrete (BC) with 100-120 TPH batch type hot mix plant using crushed aggregates of specified grading, premixed with bituminous binder VG -30 @ 5.4% per cent of mix and filler, transporting the hot mix to work site, laying with a hydrostatic paver finisher with sensor controlto the required grade, level and alignment, rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem rollers to achieve the desired compaction complete as per technical clause 507 of per MORTH specifications Note: - I If bitumen required more than 5.4% as per job mix formula no extra payment will be made, extra bitumen required will be considered as incidental to work. The type and brand of anti-stripping agent along with procedure shall be approved by SE-in-charge in writing before start of work. Road Marking with Hot Applied Thermoplastic Compound with Reflectorising Glass Beads on Bituminous Surface Providing and laying of hot applied thermoplastic compound 2.5 mm thick including Reflectorising glass beads @ 250 gms per sqm area, thickness of 2.5 mm is exclusive of surface applied glass beads as per IRC:35 .The finished surface to be level, uniform and free from streaks and holes. Note:- 1. A sealing primer may be applied in advance on cement concrete pavement to ensure proper bonding. Any laitance and/or curing compound to be removed where paint is required to be applied on concrete surface. (HSR 34.26)

Supplying and fixing of single mould twin shank reflective road studs (cat eyes) made out of poly carbonate/ABS moulded body and reflective panels with micro prismatic lens capable of providing total internal reflection of the light entering the lens face with retro reflectance and chromaticity values@ ASTM E 809 & ASTM D 4280. The detailed specifications and the product shall conform to ASTM D4280 and ASTM E 809. The raised pavement marker shall also meet all the testing conditions of ASTM D4280 like abrasion resistance and fixed to the road surface using the epoxy adhesive. Two cylindrical polymer shanks of not less than 20 mm diameter and not less than 30 mm length shall be moulded in the RPM body. The marker shall support a load of 13635 Kg tested in accordance with ASTM D4280. The marker shall withstand flexural strength of 909 kgf force in accordance with ASTM D4280. Marker lenses shall be moulded of Polycarbonate or methyl Methacrylate conforming to ASTM D788. The supplier shall provide a 2 years warranty for satisfactory field performance as per clause804.7.3 of MORT&H 5th revision specifications (HSR.34.34)

Providing and laying of a reinforced cement concrete pipe duct 300mm dia, across the road (new construction), extending from drain in cuts and toe of slope in fills, constructing head walls at both ends, providing a minimum fill of granular material overtop and sides of RCC pipe as per IRC:98-1997, bedded on a 0.3m thick layer of granular material free of rock pieces, outer to outer distance of pipe at lest half dia pipe subject to minimum 450mm in case of double and triple row ducts, joints to be made leak proof, invert level of duct to be above higher than ground level to prevent entry of water and dirt, all as per IRC : 98-1997 and approval drawings.
