Disconnecting HT/LT and earth termination connections from transformer, taking down the transformers from plinth/platform and loading into the vehicle; transporting the same to workshop for carrying out necessary repairs and back ,reconnecting HT/LT connections at site and charging the transformer on load, commissioning and testing including meggar test at site all as directed by Engineer - in - Charge

Draining out transformer oil, dismantling top cover alongwith conservator tank, taking out core assembly after disconnecting connections, rewinding with same size and type of copper conductor and number of turns and insulating material such as paper insulator sleeves, heating etc. Putting back the core assembly into the tank after removing sludge and replacement of HT & LT bushing complete with brass terminal, refixing top cover and conservator including replacement of gasket, nut, bolts & washers (filling new transformer oil having 60 KV dielectric strength and carring out type tests as per IS 2026 in presence of Engineer - in - charge for the following capacity :- Note : (i) New transformer oil and its filling shall be measured and paid separately under relevant items of schedule. Testing of transformers of various capcities installed at various locations at Naval Station Karanja by performing following tests - 1.IR Value on L.V & H.V side using 500 V & 5KV Megger respectively,2.Ratio on all the taps.,3.Magnetic Balance tests on L.V & H.V.,4.Vector group.,5.Magnetizing current. 6.Winding Resistance Test on H.V & LV terminals. Note : (i) Contractor should make his own arragement of testing equipments and electric supply so required (ii) A detailed Test Report should be submitted to Engr-in-Charge.

(d) Checking and recording of IR value of VCB trolley and panel. , (e) Checking/repairing/rectification of the control wiring., (f) Replacement of panel heater 80 watt., (g) Replacement of worn out bushing CT/Busbar support insulators, (h) Replacement of worn out bushing PT/Busbar support insulators ,(j) Replacement of unserviceable and Open circuit CT's., (k) Checking fibre plates, gaskets and applying multi grease to the mechanical parts & dry graphite conductive sealant to contacts of PT etc. & re-assembling the same and commissioning complete to entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge., (l) Testing of polarities of CT's., (m) High voltage testing with high voltage tester of CT & Breaker pole to withstand working pressure of HT 22 KV to ascertain servicieability and spare parts found defective to be replaced for smooth functioning as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.(n) Labour only for Opening the busbar chamber of HT 22KV VCB panel board cleaning the bus bar chamber, inspect the CT's wiring, spout insulator & bus-bar joints & tightening if required & heating up with hot air blower to remove moisture, meggering, HV testing applying TRTPPEX(B) supplied against Sl Item No 4(b) here-in-after to bus bar & commissioning complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-charge.Note:- (i) All spares required for replacement shall be measured and paid separately under respective item of schedule here-in-after as supply only.( ii) Machine grease, oil, liquid sealant and any minor item costing upto Rs 250 will be included in the unit rate of above item and for satisfactory function of the breakers and no extra cost will be allowed. Decision of accepting officer in this regard will remain final & binding. (iii) The overhauling of HT breakers to be carried out either through OEM's service Engineer/authorised dealer/San & Engg consultant /Triotech consultant/ those who posses HT handling license.

Supply, installation, testing and commissioning in repair HT 22 KV out door type, IP-66 protection factory fabricated feeder pillar box made out of 3.25 mm thick cold rolled MS sheet steel with double door and locking arrangement, duly painted with anti corrosive high quality post office red colour, suitable for 22 KV, 3 Phase, 50 Hz, 630 Amps, AC system to loop one incoming and one outgoing 3 x 120 Sqmm XLPE cable with all accessories complete comprising the following specifications :- (a) The HT feeder pillar shall have front and rear compartments, front compartment shall be connecting the terminals of cables and rear for terminations, backelite sheet 12mm thick shall provide for separation cable termination at front. (b) Adequate ventilation by means of louvers with wire mesh on both sides and at the top and bottom of feeder pillars. (c) Asbestos sheets fo at least 6mm thick shall be provided on inside of all doors. (d) Enamelled name plate mentioning name of manufacturer, serial number and date of installation shall be displayed on front door.(e) Two Nos of earthing bolts shall be provided with the cubicle at front and rear side of feeder pillar. (f) Cable entry shall be from rear side of pillar. Removable gland plate of 10 SWG MS sheet shall be provided. Cable chamber shall be provided with perforated metal sheet separate for each chamber. (g) Teh set of bus bar 630 Amps rated shall be made up of electrlytic grade copper and provided with heat shrinkable PVC sleeve for RYB codes. (h) The insulating material used shall be Epoxy type insulator with uniform equally spaced rings, suitable for 33 KV class insulation.
