Amount

Excavation in trenches, n exc 1.5 m wide and n exc 1.5 m in depth, for foundation of PCC/Steel pole, laying of cable in trenches etc and getting out in hard / dense soil complete all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25 cm in soils complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated material (soils) n exc. 50m and depositing where directed at a level n exc. 1.5 m above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

M&L filling approved river sand in trenches for sand cushioning of laying of cables to the full width of excavated trench 8 cm thick before laying the cable and 15 cm above the cable, gently punned down, stretching and testing of cable on transformer yard etc complete all as specified and directed. Note :- Thickness of sand cushion after punning down shall be 18 cms measured for payment.

Supply and Lay un-reinforced precast concrete cable covers, class LV, type-I, flat of size 250mm x 150mm x 40mm laid across in trenches for cable protection as in repairs complete all as specified and directed.

Supply, lay, test and commissioning of XLPE insulated, armoured heavy duty electric cable with aluminium conductor, 1100 volts grade, cross-sectional area laid in trenches / duct or fixed to wall / passing through pipe on pole with suitable size cable glands, crimping type cable lugs for stranded aluminium conductor of following sizes complete all as specified and directed :-

2 core 10 sqmm.

4 core 16 sqmm.

3.5 core 25 sqmm.

3.5 core35 sqmm.

3.5 core 50 sqmm.

3.5 core240 sqmm.3.5 Core Note : item Nos. 6 .01 to 6.08:Excavation, earth work, sand cushioning and cable protection items etc shall be measured and paid under respective items of Schedule 'A'.

M&L for PCC 1:3:6 type C1 using 20mm graded aggregate set in cement mortar 1:4 as in coping/pedestals of poles including necessary form work complete and applying two coats of white wash to exposed surface of coping/platform complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for PCC 1:3:6 type C2 using 40mm graded aggregate as in foundation, filling and mass concrete for pole / stay / post etc complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for stay assembly with all accessories as shown in Electrical Plate No 1 of SSR Part I (2009) with 16 mm dia stay rod and including 7/2.24 mm size stay strand and stay clamps including dismantling old unserviceable stay assembly complete all as specified and directed. Note : Loop type insulator, excavation, earth work and concrete shall be measured and paid separately under relevant items of this schedule.

Supplying, errecting and fixing steel tubular swaged poles with cast iron base plate of size 300mm x 300mm x 6mm, finial taper plug, bolts, nuts & screws for type 410 SP-31 (9.0 metres long) including painting with two coats of aluminium paint over one coat of redoxide primer on all exposed surfaces and tarring with black bituminous paints to embedded portion in PCC and providing 3 Nos of 30cm wide circular bands with black & yellow paint starting from plinth level at a gap of 30 cm in between 2 bands and numbering of poles, in yellow paint over black painted back ground at a height of 2m from bottom of pole with 5 cm large bold letters 2" (inch) wide including taking down old unserviceable PCC poles of any type complete all as specified and directed. Note: Excavation, earth work, PCC in foundation and coping shall be measured and paid separately under relevant item of this schedule.

Supply, lay and fixing Galvanised Iron tubing 32mm bore, light grade in protection of cable at road crossing/hard standing/pole protection fixed with MS clamps of size 40 X 4 mm, nut bolts and washer as per site requirement complete all as specified and directed. Supply & lay Galvanised Iron tubing 50mm bore, light grade in protection of cable at road crossing/hard standing/pole protection fixed with MS clamps of size 40 X 4 mm, nut bolts and washer as per site requirement including taking down old unserviceable pipes complete all as specified and directed.

All as per item No 12 above but GI tubing 80 mm bore.

M & L earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrode 60cm x 60cm x 6mm thick buried directly in ground earth pit not less than 2.25 mtr deep below normal ground level) with top edge of plate not less than 1.5m below ground level, connecting to the Galvanised iron earth strip 32 x 6mm dia, by means of nuts, bolts, check nuts and washer etc of galvanised iron and earth lead protected by provision of GI pipe medium grade 40mm bore from earth elelctrode to test point incl provn of concrete pit in PCC (1:2:4) type B-1 using 20mm graded stone agagregates with 40mm thick cover of RCC (1:2:4) reinforced with XPM sheet (weight not less than 4Kg/Sqm) and frame of angle iron 25 x 25 x 6mm with lugs 2 Nos and with 8mm dia MS bar handle made to shape, GI pipe medium grade 20mm bore pipe for watering perforated at bottom 1.75 mtr long placed on top edge of earth plate, common salt and charcoal filling test point with fixing arrangement, funnel, wire mesh and earth work in hard/dense soil, returning in and removal of surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50mtr, complete all as specified in electrical plate No 3 of SSR Part I and connection to earth test point including testing on completion all as directed. Note :- The cost of 7.5m long galvanised iron earth strip of 32 x 6mm size and protection pipe of 40mm bore GI light grade is deemed to be included in quoted unit rate.

S&F Weather proof outdoor bus bar chamber made out of 3mm thick MS sheet duly treated through 7 tank pre treatment process and painted with epoxy powder coated mat finish of SIEMENS GREY structural RAL 7032 shade colour comprising 4 Nos aluminium strips each of 300Amps, 60cm long duly insulated mounted on insulators including MCCB 200 Amp with 4 No’s mounting legs made out of 25mm x 25mm x 6mm angle iron grouted in PCC block of size 30cm x 30cm x 90cm (30cm depth below ground level and 60cm above ground level) in cement concrete 1:3:6, type C-2 (using 40mm grade crushed stone aggregate), and connections with suitable size of aluminium thimbles, nuts, bolts & washers, cable glands at entry and outlet points and excavation, earth work, returning filling in and removal of surplus soils including taking out old unserviceable bus bar chamber complete all as specified and directed.

Supply, installing, testing and commissioning, factory made and tested, CPRI approved LT panel board outdoor type, weather, vermin proof, cubical type, platform mounted, suitable for 415 volts, 3 phase 4 wire 50 Hz AC supply system all as specified and directed, with necessary bus bar arrangement with insulated bus bar 400 Amps rating , 4 strips, the panel should be dust proof, IP 54 class protection and made out of 3.15mm thick CRCA mild steel sheet duly treated through 7 tank pre treatment process and painted with epoxy powder coated mat finish of SIEMENS GREY structural RAL 7032 shade colour, with 50x50x6mm angle iron frame with necessary earth work excavation, hinged doors, front and rear opening and locking arrangement and cable glands and lugs for incomming and out going cable etc, independent chamber to accommodate complete all as specified and directed including following accessories :-

Supply and fixing Air termination single pointed copper rod 12 mm dia and 300 mm long

S&F Copper Strip 20 x 3.15 mm with saddles and fixing screws etc for roof conductors and down conductors to interconnect the earth pit to equipment room complete all speciied and directed. Notes: (a) The quoted rate shall deemed to be included necessary excavation in any type of soil or in hard standing, saddles, clamps, nuts, bolts and washers to run the conductor on wall/ceiling/ in existing trench, making connections to the existing LT pannel boards, MDB etc complete (b) Copper sockets and connector bolts nuts washers and drilling holes shall deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted.

M&L for maintenence free Safe Earthing Electrode (SEE) designed pipe in pipe technology, set of 3 Nos earth pit duly inter connected with copper earth strip 25 mm x 3 mm, each earth pit having outer pipe of size 76.3mm dia and inner pipe of size 42.4 mm dia, each GI pipe earth etectrode, having 3 mtr long duly zinc and alloy coated having zinc coating (80-100) microns to whole length of pipe and alloy coating 250-300 micron to upper 300mm length of pipe, inside filled with Crystal Conductive Compound (CCC) having anti corrosive and conductive properties to provide annular space of earth electrode and external backfill compound two bags mixed with soil laid all arround the earth pipe for retaining moisture, reduce the soil resistivity and dissipation of fault current, connected to earthing test point including excavation, earth work, PCC pit, RCC cover 50 mm thick, lifting rod 8mm dia, GI protection pipe 40 mm dia light grade for protection of inter connecting earthing strip from mechanical protection and testing on completion, complete all as specified and directed. Notes :- (i) The quoted rate is deemed to be included boring in any type of soil, removal of surplus soil from site, test link for test point, necessary sadling and mounting of copper strip on walls complete. (ii) The length of copper strip beyond 7.5 mtrs shall be measured and paid seperately. (iii) Workmanship shall be carried out in accordance with guide lines of OEM for installation and commissioning and the certificate from concerned OEM to this effect shall be obtained and submitted to the GE. (iv) Five (05) years warranty for resistance value shall be submitted for each pit. The resistance value for individual electrode will be below 02 Ohm, for two elctrodes it will be below 1 Ohm, failing to maintain earthing pit result less than 1 Ohm, new earthing pit to be provided by the contractor with out any extra cost to the department. (v) Security deposit of Rs 2000/- per earthing pit for a period of 5 (Five) years shall be submitted infavour of GE.
