Excavation in earth work in hilly area in all heights and depths in all kind of soil by manual/mechanical means including saturated soil comprising of mixed soil, ordinary rock and hard rock. All work of rock cutting by blasting shall be carried out by taking all necessary precautions against soil erosion, damage to hill side, water pollution, etcetra and to protect stability of hill side. Rock shall be excavated with chiseling and wedging out rock (where blasting is prohibited). All earth work in cutting/excavation including rock excavation shal1 be carried, out true to lines, grades, side slopes, width, camber super- elevation and level as shown on the drawings or as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge, inconformity with the requirement of technical specification for Rural Road clause I603.1and1603.2of general conditions for contract to achieve designed formation width including hauling and stacking of material useful for construction at suitable sites and safe disposal and dumping to be arranged by the contractor of unsuitable cut materials in specified manner, trimming, filling of unevenness, blindage and finishing of the road to specified dimensions, or as directed by the Engineer -in -Charge for smooth riding. The recovery for stones, whether useful or not, for 126.46 cum (one hundred twenty six point four six cubic metre) in all cases, @ rupees 300/- only (Rupees three hundred only) per cubic meter shall be effected on pro-rata basis in all circumstances. Any loss to the public and private property during the course of excavation shall be the absolute. Responsibility of the contractor which shall have to be duly compensated by, him in all cases.

Any loss to the public or private property during the course of excavation shall be the sole responsibility of the contractor which shall have to be duly compensated by him in all cases.

Providing and laying of Filter media with granular materials/ stone crushed aggregates satisfying the requirements laid down in clause 2504.2.2. of MoRTH specifications to a thickness of not less than600 mm (Six hundred millimeter) with smaller size towards the soil and bigger size towards the wall and provided over the entire surface behind abutment, wing wall and return wall to the full height compacted to a firm condition complete as per drawing and Technical Specification. The rate including octroi, royalty, Malkana, toll tax, or other taxes but excluding GST imposed by the Government including hauling of materials in all leads and lifts as per entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in- Charge.

Providing and laying back filling with boulder-stones as per specification to a thickness of not less than 600mm (six hundred millimeter) with similar size towards the soils and bigger size towards the wall and providing over the entire surface behind abutment wing wall return walls; to the full height-compacted to firm condition complete as per drawing and technical specification Rural Road. The rate including octroi, royalty, Malkana, toll tax or other taxes but excluding GST imposed by the Government including hauling of materials in all leads and lifts as per entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in- Charge.

Providing and laying weep holes or retaining walls/ breast walls 100mm dia (one hundred millimeter) PVC (D-Plast) pipes of working pressure not less than 4.5 Kg (Four point five Killogram) per sqm extending through the full width of the structure with slope of 1 (V) : 20 (H) ( one vertical : Twenty. horizontal) towards drawing face complete as per drawing and technical specifications, clause 614, 709, 1204.3.7. Furnishing and Placing Reinforced/ Pre stressed cement concrete in super-structure as per drawing and Technical Specification PSC Grade M 40 (Grade forty) 20mm (Twenty millimeter nominal size aggregate) for Box Girder. Plain/ Reinforced Cement Concrete M15 (Grade Fifteen) 40mm (Forty millimeter nominal size of aggregate) in Open Foundation and be low approach slab complete as per Drawing and Technical Specifications. Providing and laying bituminous concrete 40mm (Forty millimeter) thick with higher capacity batch type hot mix plant using crushed aggregates of specified grading, premixed with bituminous binder VG-30(grade thirty)@ 5.2 Percent (Five point two percent) of mix and filler, transporting the hot mix to work site, laying with a hydrostatic paver finisher with sensor control to the required grade, level and alignment, rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem rollers to achieve the desired compaction as per MORTH specification clause No. 507 complete in all respects.
