a)Design including detailed drawings for Water Treatment Plant of 10 MLD capacity including all necessary accessories like aerator, parshall flume, flash mixer, clariflocculator, rapid sand filter, dozing unit with chemical store room, CWR, recycle water tank, Lab. Building, back wash equipment, machineries, pumps, pipelines, appurtenances, chlorination by high strength calcium based granular chlorination chemical (chlorine gas/bleaching powder not preferred due to geographical constraints) etc. required in the process and stages necessary for treatment of water as per design parameter so as to remove physical, chemical (if required) and biological impurities of the raw water (raw water data for reference is enclosed ) and the final treated water should be free from all the impurities and conforming to IS 10500 (as per latest revision) including furnishing of detailed design of the treatment system and structural design and drawings of all the civil structures, pumping/gravity mains (as per design requirement) from Garacharma pump house to CWR at Hill top Garacharma including laying of pipeline from pump house to CWR at hill top Garacharma and from main feeder line of Dhanikhari Dam at Garacharma –Teylerabad Junction to aerator of proposed new plant, including Design, installation, testing and commissioning of various electrical, mechanical and instrumentation components required for automation of complete Water treatment plant using central SCADA and all development works complete. (while quoting rates the bidder should also take note of the scope of the work and to include cost of all such activities described in the scope of work)or equivalent system as per approved technical proposal only.

b)Preparation of Detail Project Report (DPR) including schedule or Bill of quantity (BOQ) of all components for proposed Water Treatment Plant (WTP) and other allied works supported by measurements and relevant supportive documents for all items of work as per approved technical proposal only.

c)Construction of WTP (10 MLD) at Garacharma, Port Blair including site development, materials, machineries, equipments, supervision, transportation etc complete conforming to various BIS codes, CPWD specifications, CPHEEO manuals etc, installation, commissioning and trial running to full capacity of Water Treatment Plant as per approved technical proposal only and as per the direction of Engineer-In-Charge.

Operation and maintenance of the plant including cost of manpower, consumables, spares, quality tests etc. complete and also training of personnel of Public Health Engineering Division, APWD

Comprehensive Maintenance of all constructed, installed and commissioned Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Instrumental & Electronics components for a period of Five (05) Years (i.e 60 months) including the cost of all spares, manpower etc required for complete upkeep and maintenance of the installed and commissioned main project/work
