Protection / treatment work on slope at Sanji Chatt area and Cleaning and inspection of the rockfall barriers after any rockfall event.

A. Protection / treatment work on slope at Sanji Chatt area (at Ch ±10.400km) along old track between Katra to Mata Vaishnodevi ji Bhawan

Scaling of slopes (hard rock) using crackamite powder i/c all cost of labour, material, drilling and disposal of muck upto a distance of 1km as per drawings, Technical Specifications and the direction of Engineer-in-charge but excluding the cost of Crackamite powder

Supply of Crakamite Powder used in place of blasting for removal of rock chunk lying loose on slopes.

Supply and installation of high tensile rolled cable net of minimum longitudinal tensile strength 100kN/m and with a minimum breaking load of the cable 45kN with Zn Coating Class A or 95% Zn + 5% AI Class-B Coating as per EN 10244-2:2009 with secondary mesh of 50X50 mm size for treatment of slopes i/c 32mm dia fully cement grouted anchor, drill dia 70 mm upto 6.5m depth, at the average interval of 2.5 m c/c in both direction including all cost of material, labour, special labour and T&P required to complete the work in all respect as per drawings, Technical Specifications and the direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Supply and Installation of 32mm dia fully cement grouted anchor, drill dia 70 mm upto 9.0m depth, at the average interval of 2.0 m dc in both direction including all cost of material, labour, special1 labour and T&P required to complete the work in all respect as per drawings, Technical Specifications and the direction of Engineer-in-charge

B. Periodic Cleaning of Installed Rockfall/ Debris Flow Barriers for 3 Years Cleaning the rockfall barriers after any rockfall event or once in 6 Months (whichever is earlier), installed in Phase-I at location (7,14,16 & 17) and Phase-II at location (4,12,15,25 and 32 &33) along with quarterly inspection which includes detaching and re-installation of lower end of net, if required including all cost of T&P, skilled and semi-skilled labours and disposal of the material to the designated place / area in consultation with the Engineer Incharge of SMVDSB. However, the cost shall exclude (i) Installation of temporary barriers for safety of labours/ foot traffic & safe disposal of the material, (ii) Breaking of rock pieces above 30cm*30cm*30 cm, which shall be paid separately as per relevant items of BOQ. (The Rockfall Barriers shall only be cleaned, when it is filled upto 50cm height or as per the direction of E-in-C).

Cleaning the Debris flow Barriers after any rockfall event or once in 6 months (whichever is earlier), installed in Phase-II works at location nos. 32&33, along with quarterly inspection including all cost of T&P, skilled/ semi-skilled labour and disposal of the material to the designated place/ area. Breaking of big rock chunk of size larger than 30cmx30cmx30cm detained within the rockfall barriers by using rock breaker/ jack hammer/ crakamite powder and compressor i/c all cost of material, labour and T&P, and as per the directions of the E-in-C.

Erection/ construction of temporary fences for barricading, enclosing and serving as a safety barrier for safety of workers/ labours and foot traffic, made up of chain link rolls/ CGI sheets that are attached to weighted polls or chain link panels that can be placed/ moved multiple times with all its configuration while performing the cleaning job including all cost of its fabrication, erection & installation etc. at site. (At least 2m high).

Providing labours for scaling/ offloading of loose rocks/ boulder/ debris lying above the track over slope including all cost of T&P & equipment i/c PPE kit in accordance with IRATA guidelines. Requirements mentioned in Appendix-II (Technical Specification) on safety shall be applicable during execution of work, (2 times in a year, i.e. Post Monsoon and after Winter Rains, 5 days per cycle for 3 years ).
