A) Removal of following existing unserviceable components of various MES F/DB/FD/TP/MAP furniture items shall be done carefully without disturbing the adjoining parts and S&F new components in lieu of dismantled components including tightening the joints, screwing, weldging, glueing, providing hinges,denting, placing everypart in-tact, as applicable as per drgs. B) Work will be executed where the furniture exist in different User Units/ Married Accn of GE(East) Delhi Cantt including BSO Furniture Yard as directed by Engineer-in-Charge

CHARPOY GI PIPE WITH PLYWOOD TOP :- (FD-220)

Removing of old unserviceable ply top from existing Charpoy GI Pipe Reassembling/ tightening of Charpoy frame and providing new 12mm thick plywood top BWP grade (Make-Century ply " Sainik 710/Greenply"Green Gold"/Archidply"Platinum"/duroply" Titanium") as per existing shape and size with shunken nut,bolts comple all as shown on drawing. corner/edging of ply shall be grinded / smoothed as per direction.

S& F of MS flat iron Stiffener of size 35mm x 6mm with round headed steel bolt, nut and washer of suitable size to GI pipe charpoy frame and rough edges of stiffeners smothended by grinding. Stiffeners to be provided two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a red oxide. Plytop to be fixed with 08 number of round headed bolt.

Removing of old unserviceable/broken Elbow and S&F new 03 way GI Elbow 70mm long of 32mm dia ISI marked and fixing in position complete all as shown on drawing. (Wt. not less than 420gm per elbow).

Removing of old unserviceable/broken check nut and S&F new 06 mm thick ISI marked GI check nut of 32mm dia complete all as shown on drawing.

Removing of old unserviceable long rail from existing charpoy GI pipe and S&F new long rail of 32mm dia medium grade GI pipe, ISI marked and threading the same 22mm long at one end and 52mm long at other end and fixing in position complete all as shown on drawing. (Make : Jindal / Tata / Ravindra /suriya).

Cutting and converting the old unserviceable long rail as retrieved vide Srl No. 2.05 here-in-before into two short rails and fixed to charpoy GI pipe duly threaded 22mm long at both side end including removal of old and worn out threaded short rails.

Cutting and converting the old unserviceable short rail as retrieved vide Srl item No. 2.06 here-in-before into two legs and fixed to charpoy GI pipe duly threaded 22mm long at one end including removal of old and broken unserviceable legs.

Removing of old unserviceable plastic newar from existing Charpoy GI Pipe, reassembling/ tightening of Charpoy frame and providing 12mm thick plywood top BWP grade (Make-Century ply " Sainik 710/Greenply"Green Gold"/Archidply"Platinum"/duroply"Titanium") as per existing shape and size with shunken nut,bolts complete all as shown on drawing.including two Nos MS flat iron Stiffener of size 35mm x 6mm, edges of stiffeners smothended by grinding. Stiffeners to be provided two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a red oxide. Plytop to be fixed with 08 number of round headed bolt.

CHARPOY DOUBLE BUNK :- (T&P)

Removing of old unserviceable Plytop from existing charpoy double bunk steel and S&F of new 12 mm thick plytop of suitable size, ISI marked, BWP commercial plywood with unpolished edging of approved quality all as shown on drawing and as directed. (Make of Plywood :- Green ply/Archid/Duro ).

CHAIR VERANDAH : - (FD-359& 256)

Cutting and removing of old plastic cane/newar from chair verandah and applying Two coat of synthetic enamel white paint after preparation of surfaces and re-canning with cane plastic 04 mm wide of approved quality complete all as shown on drawing and directed . (Make of Plastic cane : Aryan/Shah/Premier/ BR Super).

Replacement of PVC shoes to Chair Verandah all as shown on drg.

Welding to broken joints of Chair varandah all as directed.

TABLE BED SIDE : (FD/E6/MAP/15 R)

Removing of old unserviceable upper drawer from existing Table bed side and S&F new upper drawer of same size all as shown on drawing made out of 18 mm thick prelaminated particle board/ MDF, and 06mm thick bottom made of ISI marked, BWR grade commercial plywood. (Make :- Archid /Action- Tesa / Greenply).

All as per srl item No. 5.01 here-in-before but lower drawer of table bed side.

Removing of old unserviceable top from table bed side and S&F the new top of same size made out of 18mm thick MDF board teak faced with 04mm thick teak wood beading all as shown on drawing and as directed. (Make:- Ecoboard/Action- Tesa / Greenply).

All as per srl item No. 5.03 here-in-before but side of table bed side.

Removing of old unserviceable back ply of table bed side and S&F the new back ply of same size made out of 06mm thick commercial plywood all as shown on drawing and as directed.

All as per srl item No. 5.05 here-in-before but bottom ply of table bed side.

Removing of old/unserviceable handle from the table bed side and S&F new CP steel handle as per sample ,shape and size all as per drawing and as directed.

SOFA SET 04 SEATER WITH CUSHION:- (FD-258,373 & 281)

S &F of new foam cushion of size 22" x 21" ,100 mm thick, 40 density duly covered with new best quality tapestry cloth of DCM/Indian Handloom of approved shade and of rate ranging between Rs. 200/- to Rs. 250/- per meter and fixing the same all as per drawing and as directed. ( Sample of tapestry cloth shall be approved by the GE). Make of Cushion :- Sleepwell / Feather-foam / Kurl-on.

Removal of tapestry cloth from existing seat/back of Sofa set 04 seater and S & F new best quality tapestry cloth of approved shade and of rate ranging between Rs. 200/- to Rs. 250/- per meter and fixing the same all as per drawing and as directed. (Sample of tapestry cloth shall be approved by the GE).

Removing of old unserviceable arm rest from exiting sofa set 04 seater and supplying and fixing new 1st class hard wood teak arm rest to sofa set 04 seater complete as shown on drawing.

Removing old broken/unserviceable front legs from Chair dining and S&F new front legs of Ist class hard wood seesam wood as per shape and size shown in drawing complete all as specified and directed.

All as per srl item No. 8.01 here-in-before but rear leg.

Removing old unserviceable leatherite cover and margin cloth from the seat of the chair and S&F new tapestry cover to the seat (duly covered from all the sides incluing bottom of the chair) and of the range not less than Rs.210/- per meter. Colour, shade and quality of tapestry shall be as approved by the GE complete all as specified and directed.

Removing old unserviceable foam cushioned seat from existing chair dining cushioned and S&F new 75 mm thick ,32 density foam seat of (Make: Sleepwell/Featherfoam/Kurl-on )to chair dining duly covered with tapestry cover of range not less than Rs.250/- per meter, colour, shade and quality of tapestry shall be as approved by GE complete all as specified and directed.

S&F new wooden bracket/corners of suitable size made of Ist class hard wood teak to Chair dining cushioned and screwd with railing for extra strength including french polish complete all as directed.

CHAIR REVOLVING LOW HIGH BACK (FD -TP)

Replacement of old unserviceable seat and back of chair revolving S&F new seat & back of chair and same size and shape. Seat and back fixed on frame with screw and including all minor repairs with welding to steel frame etc complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (Note :- The tapestry cloth of rate ranging between Rs. 150/- to Rs. 175/- per meter and as per sample approved by GE.)

Removing of old unserviceable tapestry cloth from seat and back of existing Chair and S&F new tapestry cloth to seat and back of Chair revolving all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (Note:- The tapestry cloth of rate ranging between Rs. 150/- to Rs. 175/- per meter as per sample approved by GE).

Replacement of old unserviceable arm rest with new arm rest of black integral skin polyurethane reinforced with MS insert and shall be scratch and weather resistant of Chair briefing static base all as directed.

Replacement of unserviceable hydrulic system of chair revolving for the adjustment of height completed all as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

PAINTING AND POLISHING : Material and labour for complete removing/scrubbing the entire old polished surfaces by gridining of the following items with grinding machine, including preparation of old wooden surfaces by applying seina/burnt seina uniformally and filing of cavities with putty/filler and applying two coats french polish with as directed in order to obtain glossy finish to the following wooden furniture items to the entire satisfaction of Engr-in-Charge and all as directed.Charpoy double bunk FD TP

Notes for BoQ:-(a) The furniture article as and when received from Unit/Occupant as case may be, the Engineer-in-Charge (BSO) shall enter these furniture articles in furniture deposit register (IAFW-1830) and shall subsequently issue for necessary repair/polishing to the Contractor through Nominal issue voucher(NIV) mentioning the date of issue duly signed by the contractor. In certain cases the repairable furniture article can also be issued directly from units. (b) The contractor shall return these furniture articles after repair work on or before 30 days from the date of issue of furniture and nominal Receipt Vouchers (NRV) shall be issued duly signed by furniture I/C, BSO and Contractor. (c) If the contractor fails to repair and return these furniture article within 30 days, a penalty of Rs 10 per furniture article per day will be levied to contractor and the same will be recovered from contractors claims. (d) Generally the periodicity for issue of furniture from BSO Yard shall be once or twice in a month (reckoning from date of commencement of work as per WO No.1) subjected to the users requirement/availability of furniture for repair works. However care shall be taken that repairable furniture shall be issued not more than 20% of total qty of CA provision in one month. (e) Removal of Existing componants of following MES Pattern Furniture Item's Carefully without disturbing the adjoining Parts and S&F new componants of same pattern as per Drg in lieu of Dismantled /Discorded componants including Tighting the Joints, Pinning, Screwing, wedging, Gluing, Providing Hinges, Placing every part in-tact condition. (g) Cleaning, Derusting of Stain/Dirt old polish with Grinder machine or Sand Paper as required and as directed making the Surface smooth filling the holes with putty where ever required and Applying two coats of French Polish for wooden Items. (h) Replaced/ Changed parts should be First finished seperately upto the level /extent so that the Painting /Polishing on whole Items should be matched and desired finish shall be obtained.
