| 5 | Core Test - Deciding the location by using scanning of the concrete surface using a reinforcement locator such as Hilti PS 300 or equivalent, to accurately identify embedded reinforcement and mark safe zones for core extraction. After confirmation, core cutting shall be carried out through RCC members (e.g. slab, beam, or wall) of the specified diameter using a diamond core cutting machine with water cooling, in such a manner as to minimize disturbance to reinforcement and maintain structural integrity. Concrete cores shall be finished, capped, and prepared on both faces in accordance with IS $16 (Part 1/Sec I): 2018 and IS 1199: 2018 for compressive strength testing.
