Excavation in hilly areas in all heights and depths and in all kinds of soil by manual/mechanical means including saturated soil comprising of ordinary soil, ordinary rock ,soft rock ,hard rock chiseling, wedging out rock(where blasting is prohibited) and their intermediate classification of soil complete including setting out true to the lines, grades, width, cutting and trimming of side slopes and levels as shown in the drawings and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge at site, according to the MORD technical specification section 300 and 1600 and sorting out useful materials and stacking the same within in all leads and lifts in acquired road width and transportation of un-useful materials for filling in roadways camber ,embankments for grade improvements and disposal of all surplus materials to the approved dumping sites through all modes of transportation including head load or animal transport or mechanical means /labour alongwith its leveling fine dressing and carriage of machineries ,materials, tools, equipments and safety measures and other incidentals necessary to complete the work by mechanical means labour if required.All useful materials such as stones, shingle aggregate and slates etcetera shall be sorted out and stacked in proper stack. Recovery of stones to the tuneof 875.82 cubic metre quantity @ Rs. 300/0 (Rupees three hundred) only per cubic metre shall be effected fromthe contractor running bills on pro rata basis as per actual quantity executed . Any loss to the public/ private property during the course of execution shall be the absolute responsibility of the contractor which shall have to be compensated by him in all cases. Earth work in excavation for all type of structure such as retaining walls, breast walls, culverts, drains and parapets etcetera in all type of classification of soil comprising of ordinary soil, ordinary rock, hard rock chiseling / wedging out rocks ( where blasting is prohibited) as per drawings and MORD technical specification section 300 & 1600 and as per the directions of the Engineer-in-Charge including setting out, construction of shoring and bracing, removal of stumps and other deleterious materials and disposal of materials any lead any lift including dressing of sides and bottom and back filling in trenches with excavated Suitable / approved materials to the original surface in layers not exceeding 150mm (one hundred fifty millimetre). Compacted thickness including shoring, strutting and pumping and bailing out water ( surface and sub soil water) upto any depth and any quantum of water including cleaning of slush which may arise out during dewatering as per directions of Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of materials within all leads, lifts and other incidental. The rate is including the octroi, royality, Malkana, toll tax, GST or any other taxes imposed by the Government.

Providing and laying mechanically mixed and vibrated plain cement concrete 1:4:8 ( One cement is to four sand is to eight graded crushed stone aggregate 40mm (forty millimetre) nominal size on ground or under water including pumping or bailing out water( surface and sub soil water), dewatering for all heights /depths and any quantum of water including removal of slush which may arise at the time of laying concrete for all heights/ depths, including the cost of form work and curing for 14 ( fourteen) days complete in Retaining walls and Breast walls etcetera as per drawings and MORD technical specification section 800, 900,1200 and 1600 as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge, including carriage of materials within all leads, lifts and other incidental. The rate is including the octroi, royality, Malkana, toll tax, GST or any other taxes imposed by the Government.

Back filling behind abutments, return walls, wing walls and retaining walls etcetra complete as per drawings and MORD technical specification section1200 and 1600 or as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge ,including carriage of materials within all leads, lifts and other incidental. The rate is including octroi, royality ,Malkana, toll tax, GST or any other taxes imposed by the Government.

Providing and laying 100mm ( One hundred millimetre) diameter poly Vinyl chloride pipe Weep holes in brick masonry/stone masonry, plain/reinforced concrete abutments, wing walls return walls and retaining /breast walls etcetra extending through the full width of the structure with slope of 1 (V) : 20 (H) (one vertical is to twenty horizontal ) towards draining face complete as per drawings and MORD technical specifications section 700 & 1200 or as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge, including carriage of materials within all leads, lifts and other incidental. Providing and laying ( to level or slope) 900 mm dia (nine hundred millimeter) diameter reinforced cement concrete heavy duty non pressure pipes IS Class NP-3 (three) as per design for culverts on first class cradle bedding or plain cement concrete grade M-15 (fifteen) providing and fixing collar with cement mortar 1 : 2 (One cement is to two sand),but excluding the cost of excavation, protection works, back filling, and masonry work in head walls and parapets etcetera complete as per drawings and M.O.R.D. technical specifications section 1100 as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge ,including carriage of materials within all leads, lifts and other incidental. The rate is including octroi, royality ,Malkana, toll tax, GST or any other taxes imposed by the Government.

Providing and laying Rubble stone flooring in cement mortar 1:3 (one cement is to three sand) laid over cement concrete bedding of plain cement concrete grade M-15 (M-fifteen) inclusive of its cost complete as per drawing and MORD technical specifications section 1300 or as directed by the Engineer-in Charge, including carriage of materials within all leads, lifts and other incidental. The rate is including octroi, royalty ,Malkana, toll tax, GST or any other taxes imposed by the Government .

Loosening of ground upto a level of 300mm (Three hundred millimetre ) below the sub grade level, watered, graded with motor grader and compacted in layers to meet the requirements of table 300.1 and 300.2 with three wheel 80-100 (eighty to hundred) kN static roller for sub grade construction as per MORD technical specifications section 300 or as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of materials with in all leads, lifts and other incidentals. Construction of sub grade and earthen shoulders with approved materials obtained from borrow pits within all leads and lifts, transporting to site, spreading, grading by mechanical means to required slope and compacted with three wheel 80-100 (Eighty to Hundred) kN static roller to meet requirements of table 300.2 complete as per MORD technical specifications section 400 or as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of materials with in all leads, lifts and other incidentals . Construction of granular sub base by providing well graded materials as per table 400.1 spreading in uniform layers with tractor mount grader on prepared surface, mixing by mix in place method at OMC with tractor mount appropriate rotavator attachment and compacting with three wheel 80-100 (eighty -one hundred) kN static roller to achieve the desired density, as per MORD Technical Specifications section 400 for providing -I material as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge, including carriage of materials within all leads, lifts and other incidental. Providing, laying, spreading and compacting mechanical means stone aggregate of specific sizes to water bound macadam specification including spreading in uniform thickness using template hand packing, rolling with three wheel 80-100 ( eighty - one hundred) kN static roller in stages to proper grade and camber applying and brooming, stone screening type-"B" of size 11.2mm (eleven point two millimetre) nominal size at the rate of 0.20 cubic metre (zero point two zero cubic metre) per ten square metre and binding materials at the rate of 0.06 Cum (zero point zero six cubic metre) per ten square meter to fill-up the interstices of coarse aggregate, watering and compacting to the required density Grading-II 63 to 45mm (sixty three millimetre to forty five millimetre) size 75mm (seventy five millimetre) compacted thickness as per MORD Technical Specification section 400 by mechanical means including hauling of material in all leads, lifts as per entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of materials within all leads, lifts and other incidentals. Providing, laying, spreading and compacting mechanical means to 75mm (seventy five millimetre ) compacted thickness, graded, broken /crushed stone aggregate, for Grading-III, 53mm to 22.4mm (fifty three millimetre to twenty two point four millimetre) nominal size to water bound Macadam, specification including spreading in uniform thickness using template, hand packing rolling with three wheel 80-100 (Eighty to Hundred) kN static roller in stages to proper grade and camber including applying and brooming stone screening ,type-B, 11.2 mm (eleven point two millimetre ) at the rate of 0.18 (Zero point one eight) cubic meter per 10 square metre(ten square metre) to fill up the interstices of coarse aggregate, watering and compacting to required density Grading-III as per MORD technical specifications section 400 by mechanical means or as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of materials with in all leads, lifts and other incidentals. Providing and applying primer coat with Bitumen emulsion (SS-1) on prepared surface of granular base including cleaning of road surface with hydraulic brooms and spraying primer at the rate of 0.85 kg. ( zero point eight five kilogram) per Square Metre) using mechanical means bitumen emulsion pressure distributor complete as per MORD technical Specification section 500 or as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of materials within all leads, lifts and other incidentals. Providing and applying tack coat with Bitumen emulsion (RS-1) using emulsion pressure distributor at the rate of 0.275 Kg. (zero point two seven five kilogram) per square metre on prepared granular surfaces treated with primer and cleaned with Hydraulic brooms as per drawing & MORD Technical Specification section 500 or as directed by the engineer-in-charge including carriage of materials within all leads , lifts and other incidentals.The rate is including the octroi, royality, Malkana, toll tax, GST or any other taxes imposed by the Government.

Providing, laying and rolling of open-graded premix carpet of 20mm (twenty millimetre) compacted thickness composed of type-"A" 13.2 mm to 5.6 mm ( Thirteen decimal two millimetre to five decimal six millimetre ) aggregate at the rate of 0.27 cum (zero decimal two seven cubic metre) pre-mixed with bitumen binder grade VG-10 (Viscosity Grade ten) at the rate of 14.6 kg. (fourteen decimal six kilogram) per ten square metre of to required line, grade and level to serve as wearing course on a previously prepared base, including mixing and heating binder and aggregate in suitable hot mix plant 30/40 (thirty / forty ) tonne per hour capacity transporting mixed materials with tipper and laying with paver finisher to required grade and camber and rolling with three wheel 80-100 (eighty - hundred ) KN static road roller finished to required level and grades to be followed by seal coat of type-”B” complete as per MORD Technical Specification section 500 including carriage of materials within all leads, lifts and other incidentals.
