REPAIR/REPLACEMENT AND CLEANING OF SEWAGE LINES OF OTM AND OFFR MD ACCN UNDER AGE B/R-II AT ITARANA CANTT ALWAR

Cleaning of all blockages of Nahani trap/floor trap, bottle trap, gully trap, P or S traps of WCs, by removing solid/liquid or mud deposited in the trap or CI/PVC pipe line /Bends by rodding manually and removing the sludge duly covered in a hygenic manner and making the WC (Indian or European type)/WHB/Sink/Floor trap/Gully trap fully functional upto 1st Manhole,by deploying safaiwala per day and using manual/pressure cleaning pump & flexible rods and other necessary equipments to maintain internal sewage system in the area of AGE B/R II etc complete all as specified and directed. Note:- (i) Contractor or his authorised representative collect such type of complaints from B/R-II complaint cell at 8.30 AM on daily basis except sunday /Holiday. No extra payment shall be made on account of collection of complaint. (ii) Safailwala shall come on daily basis with necessary equipments as reqd to carry out the necessary complaints. Non availability of equipments in any case will not be admissible. (iii) Complaint must be completed within 24 hours without any fail otherwise recovery shall be made double the market rate to the contractor. (iv) Line cleaning upto 1st manhole to be paid for separately under separate item in the BOQ.

Cleaning and rodding the blocked sewage line of 100 mm dia and depth upto 1.5 m by rodding, well flushing using adequate water between successive manholes in suitable lengths by blocking the first and last manholes of sewage line and making it clear till the smooth flow of sewage line(manhole to manhole or Gully Trap to Manhole) including desludging the manholes on both ends and cleaning the line by manual or mechanical means as directed by Engr-in-Charge and removing the sludge/sewage & other deposits obtained from line cleaning out side of MoD land in covered van/trolleyfrom site including resetting the manhole cover including taking precautionary and safety measures and making the area neat and clean complete all as specified and directed. Note :- (a) Desludging and dewatering of Manholes for the line under cleaning to be measured and paid for separately under respective items of the BOQ as per the depth of manholes. (b)All the lines shall cleaned after commencement of work by pressure jet machine and kept blockage free throughout contract period by deploying manpower.

Dewatering of manholes of any capacity/depth by using pumpset or by any other mechanical means and taking out stagnated water and removing outside the MD land discharge at designated place by the civic bodies etc complete all as specified and directed.

Desludging of manholes of depth upto 1.5m by taking out sludge, sludge clay and any other rubbish by manual / mechnical means using honey sucker machine, suction motor mounted on vehicle, HCV mounted suction discharge machine having blow back facility with sludge tank of adequate capacity or by any other means and removing ouside the MD land discharge at designated place by the civic bodies.Washing the top of manholes and surrounding with fresh water and sprinkling fresh unslaked lime to make the area hygeinic etc complete all as specified and directed. Notes:- (i) Volume of sludge after dewatering shall only be measured for the purpose of payment to Contractor. (ii) Depth of sludge in the pit shall be measured from bottom of pit to the existing water/affluent level prior to ordering the cleaning in the presence of EIC. (iii) Desludging shall be done by method as recommended by Engr-in-charge as per the site conditions.

Cleaning of soakage well of any capacity or description including cleaning and pumping out fluid, & washing down with water complete and removing the sludge/liquid extracted in covered van/trolley/tanker out side the MD land discharge at designated place by the civic bodies, etc complete all as specified and directed.

Checking and attending complaints of PVC/CI pipes any dia leakage from bends,clamping the vertical stacks, jointing the leakages from bends & other fittings /fixtures which is causing obstruction to sewage/ waste water flow in PVC/CI stacks including carrying out minor repairs such as replacement of jointning material or any other repair not mentioned herein before etc to make the PVC/CI functional and leak proof to the satisfaction of the occupants/users. etc complete all as specified and directed. Note: (i) Contractor or his authorised representative collect such type of complaints from B/R (ii) complaint cell at 8.30AM on daily except Sunday & Holiday. No extra payment shall be made on account of collection of complaint. (iii) Complaints must be completed with in 24 hrs without any fail otherwise recovery shall be made double the market rate to the contractor. (iv) Any new items like bends, pipes, clamps, access doors, cowl etc to be replaced while carrying out these complaints should be replaced under the respective schedules under the BOQ and will be paid for separatley in addition to this item. (v) Contractor or his authorised representative shall come on daily basis with necessary equipments as reqd to carry out the necessary complaints. Non availability of equipments in any case will not be admissible.

Surface dressing n.exc 15cm deep including Cleaning away all grass vegetation, saplings, shrubs, brush wood under growth and roots for making approach and around septic tanks, soakwells, manholes to manholes for sewage line and removing the rubbish to a distance not exceeding 50 M and deposting as directed.

Demolition of brickwork or stone/boulder masonry, built in cement mortar or cement lime mortar including all quoins, arches, pillars, etc but excluding ashlar facings, dressed stonework and precast concrete articles.

M&L brick work with old size sub-class ‘B’ bricks, straight or curved on plan exc 6.00 metre mean radius, built in cement mortar 1:4 etc complete all as specified and directed.

M&L brick work with FLY ASH BRICKS {As per IS-13757 (1993) burnt clay fly ash building bricks}, (OLD SIZE BRICKS) straight or curved on plan to any radius in half brick thick wall, built in cement mortar 1:4 etc complete all as specified and directed.

(ii) Preaparing plastered surfaces and providing APP polymeric water proofing membrane, minimum 3mm thick and weighing not less than 3.0 Kg/Sqm of make super thermolay manufactured by STP Ltd or ‘Hyper Plas’ (Polyster) manufactured by M/S IWL Ltd or ‘Shaliplas’ (polyester) manufactured by M/S Capital Steels and chemicals Pvt Ltd as approved by GE, black finish reinforced with non-woven polyester matt, with a thermo fusable finish laid over compatible bitumen primer (Bitumen primer shall be TANK MASTIC of M/S STP Ltd or ‘EMW FLATE’ of M/S Texas India Ltd} at the rate of 0.40 Ltr/Sqm torching overlaps with a propane or a butane gas torch, with a overlap of 75mm at the sides and 100mm at the ends and sealing including applying a coat of cold emulsion bituminous primer all as per manufacturer’s instructions, etc complete all as specified and as directed.
