Outsourcing of services for periodical checking and day to day maintenance and attending complaints of all Water Coolers, Evaporative Desert Coolers and Window type ACs including cleaning of Water Coolers, Evaporative Desert Coolers and Window type ACs such as evaporator units, condensor coil refrigerant system and electrical controls etc., at RCI Technical Area including K-15, War Head, DSC area, ELSEC and CPDC area by providing Four Refrigeration Mechanics per shift of 8 hours for One shift in a day on all days except Sundays and Holidays complete all as specified and directed.

Outsourcing of services for periodical checking and day to day maintenance and attending complaints of all Split ACs of 1.5 Ton, 2/3 (2 x 1.5) Ton capacity, Cassette type ACs, Vertical type ACs including cleaning such as filter units, evaporator units, condensor coil, refrigerant system and electrical controls etc., in RCI Technical Area Community Hall, DSC area, GE Office, MI Room area by providing Two Refrigeration Mechanic per shift of 8 hours for One shift in a day on all days except Sundays and Holidays complete all as specified and directed.

Notes for the serial item No 01 to 03: All T&P for operating, repair and maintenance are deemed to be included in the unit rates quoted.

All stationary for Duty Roster, Attendance register, Wages register, Log sheet book, maintenance record etc., shall be arranged, maintained and submitted by the contractor to Engineer in charge in the first week of every month.

Any loss due to negligence, mis operation shall be made good by the contractor without any extra cost to the department.

Wage period shall not exceed one month. Wages for all workers employed shall be paid before 7th day of every month through bank account without fail irrespective of whether RAR is claimed or not.

Non compliance on the part of contractor for not making payment of wages to workers as stipulated above shall attract penalty at the rate of Rs 100.00 per shift per worker from RAR/Final Bill. No claim whatsoever on this account will be entertained.

Minimum wages, EPF, ESI, Bonus etc., to the workers shall be paid by the contractor as per Regional Labour/PF Commissioner Gazette Notification including DA all as authorised.

Labour elements for fixing of other spares/parts mentioned in this schedule as supply only shall be deemed to include in the unit rate quoted.

The complaints received from the users duly enclosed in the register with docket number and complaint slip has to be maintained with user signature after satisfactory attending the compliant as a token of completion indicating showing the spares replaced wherever applicable.

The workers employed by the contractor for outsourcing shall be entitled for one day weekly off and the contractor has to provide suitable substitute in the concerned shifts. The unit rate quoted shall be deemed to include for this provision.

Taking down window type air conditioner of any capacity by disconnecting all electric connections, cleaning the components i.e. condenser coil and evaporating coil with caustic soda and fixing back to its original position and reconnecting the AC with the electrical connections including testing complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down the old unserviceable compressors, supply and fix new hermetically sealed Rotary / Reciprocating compressors suitable for window type air conditioner of 2Ton capacity with mounting assembly such as rubber springs etc., after disconnecting all electric connections, including alteration of refrigerant piping suction and discharge, pressure testing the complete system with nitrogen after carrying out repairs, flushing out the complete system, vaccumising and gas charging with R-22 refrigerant gas to obtain designed cooling, closing of suction and discharge valves complete all as specified and directed.

All as per item No 5 above but of 1.5Ton capacity for window type air conditioner. Make for item No 5 & 6: Kirloskar/Copeland/Tecumesh/ Bluestar

Taking out the unserviceable dual speed blower fan motor 0.2(1/5)HP of window AC by disconnecting all electrical connections, opening the same and rewinding the burnt out motor with super enamelled copper wire duly insulated including replacement of bushes, mounting rubbers etc., with new ones, reassembling, reconnecting and testing complete all as specified and directed.
