Over Head Tank following capacity and staging from made up ground level at site to the top of bottom ring beam of tank, with a minimum free board of 15cm. The design of the tank shall base on safe bearing capacity of soil at site as 8 T/m2 and depth of foundation as 2.50m from existing ground level on pile/raft foundation. made up level of OHT will be taken as 0.70 m above existing gound level. Extra earth required for made up level will be arranged by the contractor at his own cost. If the bearing capacity of soil less than 8 T/m2 than the contractor will submit the design on the same B.C. No extra payment will be paid for this. All other details of tank not covered here shall also be as per specifications enclosed. All Components of OHT will be casted in M-30 concrete with cement, coarse sand and approved stone grit as per I.S. 11682 and I.S. 456. Minimum depth of founditation below original ground level will be 2.50 M. Seismic effects and wind load should be taken into consideration as I.S. 1893 for earthquake resistance and I.S. 875 part-III for wind load on structure. Two coloumn R.C.C. stair case with 1.0 m minimum clear width attached with tank body as an access to Balcony and Top Dome of tank from ground level as per design & drawing with 1.25 m high railling and gate with cabin as per specification including supply of all materials. M.S. ladder made of 50 X 50 X 6 mm angle section and 20 mm plain M.S. bars (specification of M.S. should be as per IS 800-2007) with hand rails of 20 mm medium class G.I. pipes on both sides in three rows from balcony to top dome resting on an RCC plateform (75 X 75 cm and 10 cm thick) projecting from top ring beam and one alluminium ladder inside the tank body ( from manhole in top dome to bootom dome). 1 m wide R.C.C. balcony around the tank at the junction point of vertical wall and conical wall. Proper R.C.C. railing and 20 mm dia medium class G.I. pipe (in 3 rows) on both sides of stair case, arround the balcony at each landing from landing with top ring beam upto manhole on the top dome and at the periphery. The G.I. pipes will be supported on R.C.C. posts of 100 mm dia or on the posts made of 50 X 50 X 6 mm M.S. angle section, spaced at intervals not more than 1.5 m. Proper ventilator at top dome in circular shape of 1.2 m dia along with an R.C.C. cover of minimum 1.50 m dia and 7.5 cm thickness, pillar of vintilator should be minimum 50 cm dia. The space between top dome and R.C.C. cover should be covered with mosquito net of standered qualitity along with expended mentaled jail. Electro Magnetic Flow Meter. Lightening conductor as per I.S.S. 2309 of its latest amendments of latest electricity rules. It should consist proper elevation rod with 5 or more fork points proper down conductors of prescribed mental of proper size prescribed by ISS 2309-1969 and ISS 3013-1966. D.I. manhole of min 60 X 60 cm size made of M.S. channel section with adequate cover made of M.S. sheet of minimum 3mm thickness hinged with manhole with locking arrangment. This manhole should be fixe at top dome at proper place. Supply, fixing, jointing of following size of D.I. D/F Pipes with D.I. D/F specials conforming to IS 8329/2000 as vertical pipes for inlet, outlet, over flow and washout as per latest / relevent I.S. specifications with all jointing materials for proper completion of work including other appurtenant works and execuvation in all types of soil. Construction of bed blocks in 1:2:4 PCC with cement, coarse sand and approved stone grit under each duck foot bend to support the vertical pipes. These bed blocks should supported on the raft not on the soil. Construction of Sluice valve chamber for above sluice valve as per departmental type design and drawing including supply and fixing of C.I. sluice valve including locking arrangement. Construction of washout/ overflow chamber as per departmental type design and drawing. Construction of R. C. C.(1:1.5:3) Floor with minimum reinforcement, Drain & Rain water harvesting, Bye pass arrangement each Rising main , byepass arrangement of over flow pipe all complete and all other necessary work as per departmental drawing and design. Painting of OHT with wheather proof paint (like apex etc.), and Painting of iron work with 1 coat primer & 2 coats of approved emultion paint as per direction of engineer incharge.
