Providing and laying crushed clay bricks in minimum thickness of 15cm it should be leveled well watered and compacted by roller.as directed by engineer in charge
Top layer (wearing course or surface course) materials to be used as aggregate are coal crinder (half burnt only)/ crushed bricks/ red bajri / bricks dust/ dependent on their availabilty at site by EIC . powdered clay is used as binding soil.the maximum size of particales in the wearining course should be less than 4mm . A general ratio of 3 parts of aggregate(size of particales 1mm to 4mm ) and 1 part of clay should be used and mix mechincal machine. Compaction and layine should be 1 in 1000 in logitudinal and 1 in 100 in cross direction as decided by EIC in complete item
