SH: - Steel work

Structural steel work in single section, fixed with or without connecting plate,including cutting, hoisting, fixing in position and applying a priming coat of approved steel primer all complete

Providing and fixing factory made ISI marked steel glazed doors, windows and ventilators, side /top /centre hung, with beading and all members such as F7D,F4B, K11 B and K12 B etc. complete of standard rolled steel sections, joints mitred and flash butt welded and sash bars tenoned and riveted, including providing and fixing of hinges, pivots, priming coat of approved steel primer, but excluding the cost of other fittings, glass panes complete all as per approved design, (sectional weight of only steel members shall be measured for payment).

(a) Fixing with 15x3 mm lugs 10 cm long embedded in cement concrete block 15x10x10 cm of C.C. 1:3:6 (1 Cement : 3 coarse sand : 6 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size)

(b) Fixing with carbon steel galvanised dash fastener of required dia and size (to be paid for separately)

Structural steel work riveted, bolted or welded in built up sections, trusses and framed work, including cutting, hoisting, fixing in position and applying a priming coat of approved steel primer all complete.

SH Finishing

Finishing walls with water proofing cement paint of required shade :

New work (Two or more coats applied @ 3.84 kg/10 sqm).

Finishing walls with water proofing cement paint of required shade :

Old work (one or more coats @ 2.20 kg/10 sqm) complete.

12 mm cement plaster of mix :

1:6 (1 cement: 6 fine sand)

15 mm cement plaster on the rough side of single or half brick wall of mix :

1:6 (1 cement: 6 fine sand)

Cement plaster 1:3 (1 cement: 3 coarse sand) finished with a floating coat of neat cement.

(a) 20 mm cement plaster

18 mm cement plaster in two coats under layer 12 mm thick cement plaster 1:5 (1 cement: 5 coarse sand) finished with a top layer 6mm thick cement plaster 1:6 (1 cement: 6 fine sand).

6 mm cement plaster of mix :

1:3 (1 cement: 3 fine sand)

Neat cement punning

Extra for providing and mixing water proofing material in cement plaster work in proportion recommended by the manufacturers.

Extra for plastering exterior walls of height more than 10 m from ground level for every additional height of 3 m or part thereof.

SUB HEAD : 15.0 DISMANTLING AND DEMOLISHING

Dismantling old plaster or skirting raking out joints and cleaning the urface for plaster including disposal of rubbish to the dumping ground within 50 metres lead.

Disposal of building rubbish / malba / similar unserviceable, dismantled or waste materials by mechanical means, including loading, transporting, unloading to approved municipal dumping ground or as approved by Engineer-in-charge, beyond 50 m initial lead, for all leads including all lifts involved.

Demolishing brick work manually/ by mechanical means including stacking of serviceable material and disposal of unserviceable material within 50 metres lead as per direction of Engineer-in-charge..

In cement mortar

Demolishing R.C.C. work manually/ by mechanical means including stacking of steel bars and disposal of unserviceable material within 50 metres lead as per direction of Engineer - in- charge.

Extra for cutting reinforcement bars manually/ by mechanical means in R.C.C. or R.B. work (Payment shall be made on the cross sectional area of R.C.C. or R.B. work) as per direction of Engineer in-charge.

Extra for scrapping, cleaning and straightening reinforcement from R.C.C. or R.B. work.

Providing, erecting, maintaining and removing temporary protective screens made out of specified fabric with all necessary fixing arrangement to ensure that it remains in position for the work duration as required by the Engineer-in-charge
