The main bus bar can carry current up to 1000A and are made of electrolytic grade copper & shall be vertically placed one after another. The bus bars should be air insulated but must be HT PVC sleeved & color coded for R-Y-B. No live parts should be accessible. All joints should be covered with monoplast compound and color coded for easy identification. The feeder connection to the bus bars is preferred to be encapsulated. | ||||||

| 1.09The front door of the breaker should not be set as front. High- Voltage door during switching operations, the high-voltage door should remain closed and mechanical interlock should prevent opening of door when the switching device is in service and is switched ON. The position of the withdraw-able section, the CLOSED/OPEN switch position of the switching device, the operating cycle counter and the “spring charged” indication should be visible through pressure-resistant inspection windows in the high-voltage door. The panel front door can be closed with the breaker in isolated position. The degree of protection in the panel is IP-43 as per Indian Standard IS 3427. | ||||||

Breaker
The vacuum circuit breaker is mounted on a truck and is of horizontal isolation and horizontal drawout/Vertical isolation & horizontal drawout type having a robust motorized mechanism. The spring charge cycle duty of mechanism is O-C-O. The vacuum circuit breaker is single break design and has one vacuum interrupter per phase. The vacuum interrupter should not be of pinch tube type design, it should be sealed by brazing in a vacuum oven & all the vacuum interrupters must be segregated in a cast resin housing. The minimum operational life of the vacuum interrupter is 30,000 mechanical, 10,000 electrical at rated current & 100 at rated short circuit. The breaker is having auxiliary switch 6NO+6NC.
Earthing
A continous copper earth bus runs across the entire length of the switchboard. All doors partitions, covers and non current carrying metallic parts are earthed to achieve earth potential for the entire enclosure. Terminals are provided at each end of the earth bus to connect the grid earthing. If integral earthing facility is not available separate earthing truck shall be provided for earthing.
Interlock
The circuit breaker can be operated only in service/test position and not in any intermediate position, beside fully isolated condition. The circuit breaker cannot be inserted into service position in closed condition and cannot be removed from service unless it is in open condition. The circuit breaker cannot be moved from test position to service position unless auxiliary plug is engaged and auxiliary plug cannot be disengaged if the breaker is in service position. If earth switch is provided it shall be mechanically interlocked with the breaker so that both the devices can not be 'ON' simultaneously.
Metering
For Incoming - Digital Ammeter, Digital Voltmeter. For Outgoing - Digital Ammeter. Multifunctional Meter Type: Flush mounted, sealed dustproof construction (Front- IP5X, Rear -IP4X), multifunctional Display : Alphanumeric LCD Display having capability to Giga Display Parameters : Voltage, Current , PF/Frequency and all energy & power parameters with autoscrolling. RTC : In-built Accuracy Class : 1.0 Keyboard :Front Panel Keyboard with auto keyboard lock and passward protection for setup parameters .Communication port : RS485. Communication Protocol : MODBUS Memory : Inbuilt memory for keeping back-up of Integrted. Data. Other features - Programmable CT/PT ratio, built in phase analyzer (Make : As per manufacturer's strandard).
Power pack with 220 Volt AC input & 110 Volt DC continuous output suitable for closing/tripping indication of HT panel Boards with 2 Nos. 12 volt 100 AH maintenance free batteries, Charging unit for trip system complete with suitable capacity digital ammeter & voltmeter i/c connections with 2.5 sqm FRLS insulated copper conductor cable etc as required.
The panel shall be complete with power pack unit, test terminal blocks, fuses, mcbs, circuit labels, illuminating lamps in each panel, indicating lamps etc., wiring for interconnection with suitable size copper cable, suitable cable end box with cable entry from bottom for incoming and outgoing cables, HV Danger Notice board, Earth bus bars, foundation bolts and nuts etc. as required and as per direction of EIC(Make :All the accessories will be as per manufacturer's strandard).
Three Panel
SITC of 11KV / 0.415 KV, 3 Phase, 50 Hz indoor mounting (Mineral oil filled)
Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of following capacity (continuous loading) (Corresponding Level as per BIS amended upto date of receipt of tender) , step down, delta / star 3 Phase, 50 Hz, Dyn 11 vector group, ONAN (Oil Natural Air Natural) copper wound transformer (Electrolytic grade 99.9% pure copper, the core shall be built up with high grade, non-aging, low loss, high permeability Cold Rolled Grain Oriented (CRGO) Core grade MOH or better, suitable for indoor applications with Off load Tap Changer and manual operation on HV side in range of +5% to - 5% in steps of 2.5%, having HV Cable End Box with terminals for connecting cable of suitable rating and LV Cable End Box with extended copper bar has to be provided for connecting multiple cable of suitable rating, complete with all accessories and safety provisions as per relevant IS Code including first filling of filtered dehydrated oil,incl. supplying and grouting of suitable M.S. Channel with all accessories and transformer shall be confirming to IS : 2026 (Part 1 to Part 5), IS : 1180.
The maximum flux density in any part of the core and yoke at rated voltage and frequency shall be such that the flux density with + 12.5 percent combined voltage and frequency variation from rated voltage and frequency does not exceed 1.9 Tesla. The permissible temperature-rise over ambient 40ºC for oil and 45ºC for winding. Inside of tank shall be painted with varnish or liquid resistant paint. For external surfaces one coat of thermo setting powder paint or one coat of epoxy primer followed by two coats of polyurethane base paint shall be used. IS: 1180 (Part 3) shall be referred to for paint thickness for normal to medium corrosive atmosphere. For highly polluted atmosphere and special application external paint work shall be as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.
Design ambient condition : a) air temperature 50ºC, b) Relative Humidity 90 % Max, c) Seismic Zone as per location of site, d) Altitude as per location/site. Noise level of the transformer between 55 dB to 62 dB. The transformer should have QR code which should contain drawing, test report OEM manual, Geo- Tag of manufacturing location etc. Marking Each transformer shall be provided with rating plate made of anodized aluminium/ stainless steel material securely fixed on the outer body, easily accessible, as per IS: 1180 Part-3. The entries on the rating plate shall be indelibly marked.
Fitting and Accessories : The following fittings shall be provided:- a) Two earthing terminals with the earthing symbol b) Oil level gauge indicating oil level at minimum, 30°C and maximum operating temperature; c) Air release device (for nonsealed type transformers) d) Rating and terminal marking plates; e) Silica gel breather f) Drain-cum-sampling valve (¾″ nominal size thread, IS 554) preferably steel with plug for three phase transformers; g)Thermometer pocket with cap; h) Oil filling holes having (1¼″ nominal size thread) with cover (for sealed type transformers without conservator); i)Lifting lugs for the complete transformer as well as for core and winding assembly; j) Pressure relief device or explosion vent k) Unidirectional flat rollers l) Inspection hole

Testing: All routine tests as per IS: 2026 to be conducted, Type tests such as: Impulse test, Temperature rise test to be conducted if asked for. Manufacturer shall have in-house testing facilities.
Losses: Conforming to Energy Efficiency Level 2 of 1180 (Part-I):2014
Making all the testing arrangement & submitting the test report for high voltage testing of specified voltage incl.checking & testing of all HT / LT equipments (relay setting, vector grouping, magnetizing balance, magnetizing current, Routine tests etc.) as per requirement of Directorate of Electricity and commissioning the installation after obtaining the approval of Directorate of Electricity.
SITC OF SUB-STATION LT-PANEL
SITC of L.T. cubical type fully compartmentalized distribution panel board, having rigid and self supporting structure fabricated with 14 SWG CRCA sheet with M.S. angle iron frame (main frame with 50 x 50 x 6 mm angle and each vertical compartment with 40 x 40x6 mm MS angle iron). The base of panel should be made with 75mm x 40mm x 4.4 mm M.S. channel. (Main LT panel comprised of one nos. 630A, ACB, EDO as incomer. [Manufacturer/Fabricator having Test Certificates from CPRI]. An Auto Cad Drawing of this item has to approved by EIC before making of it mentioning all major technical details with specification and Make of each and individual part.
All incoming & outgoing switches are to be housed in respective compartments hinged and gasket doors at the front. All doors should have panel locking arrangement in such a fashion that it can not be on unless the feeder remains in off position. The rear panel should gasketed wire net guard for ventilation arrangement will be made of easy accessibility to each compartment by providing rear panel doors with locking system . The panel is to be properly gasketed to prevent the dust & vermin. All vertical bus bar chambers is to properly arrange and all electrical equipments are to be fixed by nuts and bolts on suitable Hylam board / porcelain insulators of adequate size and dimension. The outgoing feeder connection from respective switches are to be made at rear side of panel by means of busbar, copper multi core cables, to be terminated on bolted type terminals for cable connection or on bush insulators for bus bar connection. Each compartment will be providing with DMC/FRP board at back side.... [Make : SIEMENS/ ABB/LEGRAND/ L&T/SCHNEIDER]
Incoming Arrangement :
i) 415 V, 630A, 50 kA 4(four) pole electrically draw- out EDO type A.C.B. with Microprocessor-based protection release.---------2 no.
Buscoupler arrangement: By EDO type ACB with microprocessor base protection release with Manually operated with interlocked doors, automatic safety shutters, mechanical ON / OFF and service / test / isolated position indicators and frame earthing contact, 1 no. independent manual spring closing mechanism, 1 no. shunt trip coil 220 Volts AC, conforming to IS 13947 - 2 - 1993 as amended upto date - 1 set. The interlocking arrangement(both electrical & mechanical) should be such that in case of failure of one transformer the entire panel will be charged by one transformer after adjusting the connected load. Otherwise in normal condition the two different supply from two different transformers should be separated and accordingly load will be distributed.
Bus bar section :
500V, 1000 Amp capacity Electrlytic Copper bus bar [size of flat- 2x80 mm x 5 mm ] 4bar mounted on non-hygroscopic porcelain insulator / hylam sheet having sufficient di-electric strength duly wrapped with colour PVC tapes (Red, yellow, blue & black) for phases & neutral identification - 1 set
The busbar is to be rigidly supported on suitable non-hygroscopic insulating materials of robust ration to with stand electro-mechanical stress in the event of earth fault. All connection to bus to made by suitable nuts & bolts. The busbar is too wrapped with coloured PVC (Red. Yellow, Blue & Black) for colour identifications.

Interconnection :-
All interconnection between incoming main to Busbar are to be made with suitable size electrolytic Copper bars or equivalent flexible pvc insulated multistranded single core Copper cable and the same between busbar to all outgoing mains and also for metering arrangements are to be made by suitable size of Copper wire with proper socketing of the end of each wire leads.
Earthing :-
A separate continuous GI earth busbar of size 50mm x 6mm is to be placed at the inside bottom of the panel and run across the full length of the panel board atleast extended for 75 mm at both side end of panel and should have drill hole to fit in 12x50mm GI nut bolt for earth strip connection.
The complete panel board is to be spray siemens grey painted after required surface treatment by 7 tanks process / sand blasting with 2 coat of red oxide primer & 2 coat of finished paint over dried or powder coating.
All incoming/outgoing switches is to be properly lebeled on Acrylic sheet as per direction of EIC.
The complete panel board should be erected by cutting the first floor slab with suitable wide/for entry & exit of LT-Cables for the length of 2400mm (approx) or as per direction of EIC by core cutting technique with Engineering tools & tackles & necessary experts & finishing properly as mending the good damages, for entry & exit of LT Cables from the ground floor & erected the complete panel board over the suitable size of 125x65mm & 100x50mm "C" channel from all sides with necy fixing by cutting, all nuts,bolts etc.,painting all metal parts and mending the original finish with necy. neat cement finish as required as per direction of EIC.
HT & LT Cable for Substation
Supply & laying of 11 KV(UE) grade 3 core 150 sq.mm. XLPE HT cable with Al. conductor from consumer's gear to transformer to be laid through existing covered masonry trench incl. taking out RC covers, setting them in order, mending good the damages filling the trench with fine dry sand incl. supplying sand. (Make - Finolex/Polycab/Havells/RR Kabel/Gloster).
