SPL REPAIR TO REPLACEMENT EXTERNAL SECURITY/STREET LIGHTS, CABLES, JUNCTION BOXES WITH STEEL TUBULAR POLES AND ALLIED WORKS UNDER AOR OF GE (WEST) JABALPUR

Dismantling of steel poles/struts of any size complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking down old UNSV earthing of any type any size complete all as specified and as directed. . Note: Excavation & earth work where required shall be measured & paid separately under relevant items.

Taking down of old unsv cable of any type and any size for repair or replacement incl pipes & bricks etc complete all as specified and directed by engr-in-charge. Note: Excavation & earth work where required shall be measured & paid separately under relevant items.

Supply and erecting steel tubular poles complete with cast iron base plate, finial taper plug , bolts Nuts & screws complete all as specified type 410SP 31 of 9 mtr long including painting of pole with one coat red oxide primer & two coats of aluminum paint & emedded portion shall be painted with two coat of black bituminous paint all as specified and directed. Note : Pole shall be numbered with yellow shade on black base using synthetic enamel paint having height of words exceeding 5 cm complete all as specified and as directed.

Earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrode 60×60cm.× 6mm thick, buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 metres deep below ground level) with top edge of the plate not less'than 1.5 metres below normal ground level,connected to galvanised iron strip 32×6mm dia by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanised iron or steel all as shown in electrical plate No. 3 connected to earthing test point all as specified or indicated including testing on completion including the material and labour of the following : - (a) Excavation and earth work for drilling hole for electrode in any type of Soil. (b) PCC pit in cement concrete 1:2:4 type B-1, Pre cast RCC cover with suitable handle 40 mm thick in PCC 1:2:4 type B-1, reinforced with welded steel wire fabric weighing not less than1.87 Kg/ Sq meter. (c) Funnel with watering pipe of GI 20 mm nominal bore light grade and lugs etc complete all as specified and directed (d) 15 mm nominal bore medium grade GI protection pipe 5 meter long for protection of earthing lead complete all as specified and directed. (e) Requisite quantity of common salt and charcoal. (f) Testing of earthing.

Supply, fixing, connecting and testing of Automatic Street light switch using infrared Sensor based Nature Switch for automatic switching of street lights, Nature switch operation should be based on Natural light lux level. Required illumination level for switching on is < 30 lux and for switching off > 10 lux. The sensor should also have part night operation facility for 4 - 12 hours. The sensor alongwith suitable power contactor, incoming-outgoing MCBs should be enclosed in a pole/wall mounted hensel enclosure made out of Rust proof, electric shock proof, termite proof and FR grade SMC junction box conforming to IP-66, The circuit should be suitable enough to take 8 KW single phase load with contactor 63 Amps conforming to IEC-60947-4-1/IS-13947-4-1 & incoming and outgoing MCBs of rating 63 Amps conforming to IEC-60898/IS-8828 and circuit wiring of minimum 16sqmm coper conductor wire in and including providing of 50x6mm flat iron clamp, necessary nuts and bolts complete incl taking down of existing arrangement complete all as specified and as directed.
