Eligibility Criteria

Tenders from Joint ventures are not acceptable.

Bidders shall not be under a declaration of ineligibility for corrupt and fraudulent practices issued by Government of Karnataka

The bidder is required to ensure browser compatibility of the computer well in advance to the last date and time for receipt of tenders. The departments shall not be responsible for non-accessibility of kppp portal due to internet connectivity issues and technical glitches at bidders end.

It shall be the responsibility of the Bidder to ensure credit of Tender Processing Fee and EMD into the respective receiving bank accounts of e-Procurement on or before the last date and time of bid submission.

EMD Payments through e-Payment mode shall be made as one single transaction and payments made in part are liable for rejection.

As per Karnataka State Government order No.LD/300/LET/2006 Bangalore Dated 01.01.2007 and Government Letter No.PW/134/BMS/2007 Dated 27.7.2007, a sum amounting to 1%of the bill amount will be deducted towards Construction Labour Welfare fund.

The Item Rate quoted shall include the Royalty Charges on construction materials and other taxes as per prevailing Government Orders.

Conditional tenders will not be accepted.

The Tenderer shall obtain the workdone certificate in the prescribed format from the Competent Authority not below the rank of Executive Engineer (District Level Officer) and scan the Original Certificate and attach the scanned file to the Bid. The Original Certificate/Certificates shall be produced at the time of opening of technical Bids for physical verification.

The Employer reserves the right to Reject any or all Tenders without assigning any reason.

Tenderer shall note that the Tenders of those found Eligible as mentioned in Clause 3 - Qualification of the Tenderer in Section 2 : Instructions to Tenderers (ITT), will only be considered for evaluation.

Bidders are advised to note that, 18% GST will be added to the contract amount.

GST will be paid over and above the contract amount.

The bidder should mention the UDIN No on the turnover certificate, failing which bid is rejected.

If the bidder uploaded the false document while participating in the tender, the bidder will be responsible and action will be initiated as per the tender clause.

The Bidder will be qualified only if their available tender capacity is more than the total tender value of this work.

The work should be completed in 11(Eleven) Months ( including monsoon).

The KPWD Code, KTTP Act/Rules ,Delegation of Powers and other Government Orders issued by the Government from time to time will apply.

All the specifications in the commercial bid format please be read as with all leads and lifts etc., complete as per specification and as directed by the engineer-in-charge.

Defect liability period is One (1) year from the date of actual completion of the work.

The Tenderer shall scan the Original Ownership Documents / Lease / Hire committement Agreement for the Machinaries and attach the scanned file to the Bid with self attested. The Original Documents shall be produced at the time of opening of technical Bids for physical verification.if not produce the tender shall be liable for Rejection.

Any Forest Clearance NOC Application Formalities etc.if applicable will be borne by the contractor & all the obligations risks etc will be at the Contractor formalities.

All the Blasting Operations if applicable of controlling means Ground vibration,Fly Rock & Air Over Pressure Noise should be within limits.And should be Well Controlled all the legal obligations & Formalities will be fulfilled by Contractor.

After the award of the contract, the contractor has to furnish the details in respect of labour employed and the EPF, ESI and statuory details for this work in every RA bill.

Royalty Charges will be Deducted in every bill of contract as per rules

Successful Bidder should have to obtain all mandatory clearances from Fire Services, Electrical Inspectorate, GESCOM Power Supply, Water supply, UGD from local bodies etc., before commencement of the work.

Within 20 days of receipt of the Letter of Acceptance, the successful Tenderer shall deliver to the Employer a Security deposit for an amount equivalent to 5% of the Contract price plus additional security for unbalanced tenders ( Difference between amount put to tender and quoted amount).
