M&L for earthing complete with copper plate electrode 60cm×60cm× 3.15mm thick, buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 metres deep below ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 metres below normal ground level, connected to copper strip 20x3mm as earthing lead by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of copper all as shown in electrical plate No.5 connected to earthing test point,including 20 mm GI pipe (Medium grade) for watering and 40 mm GI pipe (Medium grade) for protection of earth strip and etc.. including testing on completion ,PCC chambers in PCC1:3:6 type C1, RCC M25 type cover slab 50mm thick with 8mm dia TMT HCR/CRS steel bars at 140mm C/C both way and lifting handle GI funnel & wiremesh ,funnel,lugs and charcoal,salt etc all as applicable including taking down old unserviceable earthing complete for taking into credit complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Chargecomplete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge Note:-(i) The rates quoted is inclusive of 20x3mm copper strip earth conductor upto a length of 7.5m from the earth pit.

Excavating in trenches, not exc 1.5m wide and not exc 1.5m in depth; for foundation etc. or for shafts, wells, cesspits, manholes, pier holes etc. not exc 10 sq. m on plan and not exc 1.5m in depth and getting out in hard/dense soil, complete all as specified

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5m wide and not exceeding 1.5m depth and getting out in hard rock/rocky stone, area stone trenches, break with help of heavy duty stone breaking machine for laying of cable complete all specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge

Returning, filling in including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25cm complete all as specified and as directed

Removing excavated material to a distance not exceeding 50m and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5m above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed

Removing excavated material (Rock) to a distance not exceeding 50m and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5m above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed

Supply and spread fine river sand in trenches for cable cushioning on top and bottom of cable complete all as specified and directed. ( Note: 1. Only punned thickness of river sand shall be measured. 2. Riddled earth may be used in case of non availability of river sand.)

Supplying and laying reinforced precast concrete cable cover, class but class HV, Type 1, flat, size 300mmx l80mm x 40mm with ISO certified. The test certificate shall be submit by the contractor before approval complete all as specified and as directed

Material and Labour for earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead fixed to wall on batten or recess or chases or buried in ground or drawn in conduit/pipe or fixed to poles or any other indicated situation for loop earthing etc. as required 20X3mm copper strip, complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
