S&F in repairs, installation, commissioning and testing Junction boxes made of Lid PC and base is polystyrene. Junction Boxes Size 217 x 253 x 115 mm in Grey RAL 7035 colour. Junction Box IP 65 Thermoplastic PS Polystyrene weatherproof Junction Box with multi level knockouts for cable glands in different sizes. The pre-moulded knockouts shall be available on top and bottom of the junction box to enable cable entries from both direction. The junction box shall have an optional cable entry at the bottom up Cable Size 25 Sq mm of the box via pre-moulded knockout to enable pole mounting option. Lid fasteners self closed will be tool operated. it will be sealable with accessories. The junction box shall have elongated holes inside them for wall/pole mounting provision. Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of Automatic Power Factor Correction unit 500KVAR (output) @440 Volt Ac. The APFC unit shall comply with IEC 61439-1&2 & IEC 61921, IS-16636-2017. The degree of Protection of enclosure system of the APFC Panel shall be minimum IP-4X in accordance with IEC 60529. The APFC Panel shall be indoor type conforming to IS 13341:1992 and IS 13440:1993 floor mounted design, weather, dust and vermin proof suitable for weather conditions of Leh. The Equipment shall be comprising of the following:- (a) Insulated bus bar pan assembly made from Aluminum and of rated capacity as per TTA design. The short circuit withstand capacity shall be 50KA/1Sec(low) for the mains bus bar and the rated impulse withstand voltage shall be 6KV. (b) The incomer of the APFC Panel shall be a 1000 Amp, ACB, 3P, 50KA TMD type With O/L & S/C protection, Ics=100%, MCCB shall have standard extended Rotary handle, spreaders, phase barrier, ACB shall be of certified design conforming to IEC 60947-1,2 & 3 proposed capacitor configuration shall be 100KVAR x 3 + 50KVAR x 2 + 25KVAR x 3 + 10 KVAR x 2 + 5 KVAR x 1. APFC relay shall be automatic microprocessor based 12 steps relay.
(c) Capacitor Units:- The Capacitor unit shall be metalized polypropylene film with Zn/ Al alloy. The capacitors shall be encapsulated in an aluminum can. The Capacitor unit shall have a rated voltage of 525V and shall have a maximum over current capacity of 2.5 In. The capacitor unit shall have a built in 3 phase over pressure protection and shall have discharge resistors (50V in 1 min) factory fitted and shall be tamper proof. Capacitor Tolerance -5%,+10%. Maximum permissible over voltage 1.1xUn,8 h every 24h. The capacitor unit shall be of Certified design confirming to IS-13340-1993,13341-1992 & IEC-60831-1&2. (D) Short circuit and Overload Protection :- Each stage of the APFC Panel shall have a suitably rated MCCB for short circuit and overload protection. The Over Current setting shall be adjustable & Breaking capacity Ics-36KA. The MCCB Shall be of certified design confirming to IEC 60947-1,2 &3.
(E) PF Regulator /APFC Relay: Advance Range PF Regulator/micro-processor based APFC Relay having multiple steps with a LCD Display, Voltage Range 90V 550V,50/60Hz, CT Input:1A/5A with a built in RS485 communication port. The PF Regulator shall be of certified design confirming to IEC 61326, should also have an energy server which would collect, store and provides web access and visualization toVarious energy parameters and enable remote supervision from BMS to ensure Maximum utilization, enable remote commissioning/trouble shooting of the capacitor bank, the energy server should monitor and display the following parameters remotely through a web page. Status of stages (open/close/faulty). Real time capacitance value of the connected stage. Initial capacitance value. Number of operation of stages (stage utilization/operation), energy parameter like: I.V.P.Q.S. operating PF, Target PF, Operating Temperature, Max Temperature, %THD V, % THD 1, Display of alarms, Trending curves of historical recorded data. (F) Stage Capacitor: The capacitor duty contactors shall be rated for 230 Volts AC and shall be 3 Pole type and shall be employed for switching ‘on’ and switching ‘off’ operations in capacitor banks. The contactor shall be AC-3 duty Type. The contactor shall be of certified design confirming to IEC 60947-1& 4-1.
(G) Ventilating fans if required shall be used to dissipate the heat produce by the capacitor bank components like the capacitor units, reactors, contactors, breakers etc In addition to above the APFC Panel shall be provided with Mains indicator in each phase, Capacitor On/Off Indicators, Start/Stop press button switches andauto/manual rotary switch for each stage capacitor Bank. Note:-The APFC Panel described as above complete in all respect as per specification enclosed, up to the entire satisfaction of engineer In Charge.To ensure safety, reliability and accountability of component co ordination, all the major capacitor bank components such as capacitor units, de tuning reactors, PF controllers, circuit breakers, contactors and the enclosure system called for in this specification should preferably be from a single manufacturer. The OEM shall preferably manufacturer PFC components and switchgear.

Electric Hot Water Generator : Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of package type electric Hot Water generator constructed out of MS sheet having top open-able cover for easy access and removal of heaters. The HWG shall be suitable for indoor mounting. The generator shall be provided with 50mm thick fibre glass insulation 32 kg density finished with 0.8mm / 22G aluminium cladding sheet. The generator shall have electrical capacity of 250 kW. The heater shall be electrical resistance type, copper tube with chromium plating. The generator shall be complete with float valve, pressure gauge with ball valve, master and bank thermostats, etc. The generator shall be suitable for 3 phase, 415+ 10% Volts, 50 Hz. AC supply. The generator shall complete with self-contained incoming isolation, ammeter, voltmeter, contactors for heater banks in three steps complete with manual/auto rotary switches.
(a) All neccassary accessories required for the proper fucntioning of Hot Water Genearator are included in price. (b) The prices should include lifting, shifting and positioning of units at Site. (c) Hot Water Genearator installation to done as per Manufacturer recommendation with all installation requirements i.e Foundation, Vibration Isolator,Insulation etc as recommended by Manufacturer for the Ambient Temperature of Site. ODU installation is included in ODU price which includes the Civil Struture, Mechanical Structure etc as recommended by Manufacturer. (d) The Contractor/OEM will shall submit the Hot Water Generator capacity/Burner Capacity as per ISO or equivalent standard. (e) OEM should submit the Installation and Maintenance Schedule/ Manual for the Boiler.
GLYCOL CIRCULATION CENTRIFUGAL PUMPS: Supply, Installation, Testing & Commissioning of PN16 rated Axial Split Coupled Vertical Inline water pump set with CI casing, Bronze Impeller, SS Shaft and externally flushed outside type balanced mechanical seal and non overloading motor, as per specifications and drawings. with Suitable HP, TEFC squirrel cage induction motor with EFF1 type class 'F' insulation, Motor shall be rating of IP 55, operating on 415 ±10% volts, 3 phase, 50Hz AC Supply. The external flush line must be used for the purpose of heat dissipation from the mechanical seal. Pumps with performance characteristics as given below: The internal components of pumps including mechanical seal shall be suitable to sustain a fluid temperature of -25 Degree Celcius to 120 Degree Celcius. Vendor shall be provide antivibration arrangement for pumps . The scope also shall include following below mentioned:
(i) Electrical by pass starter for pump set as recommended by OEM. (ii) 25 mm thick polyviny nitrile rubber insulation duly cladded between aluminium sheets of 0.5mm thickness and properly clamped to pump. (iii) 3 Nos.- 150 mm dia type pressure gauges (iv) Mounting frame with antivibration pads (In case pumps are inline, anti vibration system shall be as per Manufacturers recommendation) (v) RCC/Cement concrete foundation for the pump unit. (In case pumps are inline, foundation shall be as per Manufacturers recommendation). (vi) Pump capacity are as under: (vii) Capacity and pump head not less than flow 110 USGPM , Head 30 mtr each including the triple duct valve and End Suction guide. Make of Pump: Armstrong / Xylem /Grundfoss/Wilo. Note:- In 02 Nos working and 01 No standby configuration.
EXPANSION TANK and Pressurisation Unit: Supply, Installation, Testing and commissioning of INSULATED PRESSURISED CLOSED WATER EXPANSION TANK suitable for total volume of Glycol - Water Solution, circuit along with necessary accessories such as along with necessary accessories such as 2 Nos pumps (1working +1standby) with Pressure Transmitter and interconnecting Pipe & Isolating Valve complete with piping connections,
safety relief valve, drain valve, pressure gauge, automatic air purging arrangement, etc.with Pressure Transmitter and interconnecting Pipe & Isolating Valve complete with piping connections, safety relief valve, drain valve, pressure gauge, automatic air purging arrangement, etc. The tank shall be pre-charged. Expansion tank Shall be with replaceable heavy duty butyl rubber bladder. The tank connection's should be as per OEM recommendations and 20 mm drain and charging valve connection to facilitate the on site charging of nitrogen in the tank. The tank shall be fitted with lifting rings and a floor mounting skirt for vertical installation. The tank must be constructed in accordance with IS-STANDARD 2825-1969 (with lates Revision) and Rated at PN 16 and ASME Stamped. The complete system shall be sourced from single manufacturer and supplied and installed with all accessories and safety fixtures required for proper functioning of the complete hydronic system.
The tank shall be duly painted in approved colour shall be complete with pressure switches and power distribution and control panel IP55 Control Panel, Pressure Transmitter, interconnecting piping & wiring. (Tank capacity 1000 Ltrs). Hot Glycol - Water closed vessel pressurized expansion tank as described above shall be duly Insulated with 50 mm thick PUF/Nitrile Rubber insulating material or Equivalent U value Insulating Material and cladded with aluminium Sheet (20G).

Make Up TANK: Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of factory made Make up Water Tank, Rectangular/Circular shape, of 4 mm thick MS sheet (IS 2062), of capacity of 1000 litres for Pocket-1 complete with inlet, outlet, overflow, drain pipe of MS and vent with flame arrestor. Tank will be provided with supports made out of minimum 50mm angle iron duly painted, to keep tank base at minimum (1000mm) above FFL. Extra high level and extra low level alarm shall be provided. GENERAL NOTES:
The rate for each item of work included in the Schedule of Quantities shall, unless expressly stated otherwise, include cost of : (a) All materials, fixing materials, accessories, appliances tools, plants, equipment, transport, labour and incidentals required in preparation for and in the full and entire execution, testing, balancing, commissioning and completion of work called for in the item and as per Specifications and Drawings. (b) Wastage on materials and labour. (c) Loading, transporting, unloading, handling/double handling, hoisting to all levels, setting, fitting and fixing in position, protecting, disposal of debris and all other labour necessary in and for the full and entire execution and for the job in accordance with the contract (d) documents, good practice and recognize principles. Liabilities, obligations and risks arising out of Conditions of Contract. (e) The unit rate for all equipment or materials in Indian Rupees shall include cost of equipment and materials including all taxes and duties and also including forwarding, freight, insurance and transport into Contractor’s store at site, storage, installation, testing, balancing, commissioning and other works required.
The contractor shall perform Nitrogen test and vacuum test on refrigerant piping. Start and stop timing & pressure maintained shall be checked and the readings recorded shall be counter signed by Engineer-in-Charge.
Cable glands shall be compression type, heavy-duty chromium plated.
All cable termination to have lugs/ thimbles.
INSTRUCTION / MAINTENANCE MANUAL
The Contractor shall prepare and produce instruction, operation and maintenance manuals in English for the use, operation and the maintenance of the supplied equipment and installations and submit to the Client / Consultant in (3) copies at the time of handing over. The manual shall generally consist of the following: (i) Description of the project. (ii) Operating instructions. (iii) Maintenance instructions including procedures for preventive maintenance. (Iv) Manufacturers catalogues. (v) Trouble shooting charts. (vi) Schematic & control wiring diagrams. (vii) Commissioning Certificate. (viii) Training,Opeartion, Installation manual and Trouble shooting manual and Training should be imparted to the field person. (ix) Traning shall be of 02 week for 10 persons at site.
For Make List If any make stated below does not comply with the technical specifications and or IS Standards then such a make shall not be used in the work.
MAINTENANCE OF PLANT AND TRAINING OF PERSONNEL The Cont ractor shall arrange to provide, at no extra cost, necessary personnel and material to carry out all routine maintenance of the CHS equipment as required regularly.
